Description
本发明涉及一种用于印刷电路板的连接器组件,它包括一第一连接器部分和一第二连接器部分,第一连接器部分具有由绝缘材料构成的一个第一外壳,具有一个底部和两个相对的侧壁,并带有一些安装在外壳的底部上的阳接触部件,排成行和列,还具有一些从外壳的底部突出的部分,该突出部分可被***相应的印刷电路板的孔之中;第二连接器部分具有由绝缘材料构成的一个第二外壳,可适合于以一个***端***第一外壳,第二外壳还带有一些安装在外壳中的阴接触部件,以对应的方式排成行和列,还具有一些从外壳的下侧突出的部分,该突出部分可被***相应的印刷电路板的孔之中。
这种连接器组件例如已经在EP-A-0 446 980中公开了。在这种已知的连接器组件中,第二连接器部分包括多个外导体,各个外导体大致以圆周方向包围至少一个阴接触部件作为信号触点,并且每一个都与第一连接器部分的相应信号触点的邻近接地触点相接触。以这种方式,即使在信号的高比特率传输情况下,也能得到正确的信号传输。此外,在这种已知的连接器组件中还可以为阳接触部件提供一些外导体,使之作为信号触点。虽然用这种已知的连接器组件也可以实现最佳的高比特率信号传输,但是其结构不太实用,因为其中信号触点必须以非常小的间距相互隔开。
本发明旨在提供上述类型的连接器组件,其中可以得到最佳的高比特率信号传输,并且信号触点可以相互以小间距隔开,结构得以简化。
为此,根据本发明的连接器组件的特征在于:第二连接器部分包括至少一块接地板,该板沿基本相当于第一外壳的底部厚度的一段距离从所述外壳的***端向外突出,并且在第一外壳的底部至少有一个槽,用于容纳该接地板,其中所述第一外壳包括形成在各侧壁上的屏蔽板,这些屏蔽板具有接触装置,用于与相应印刷电路板的相应导体的连接,其中每个接地装置在外壳的底部的一个槽中向外突出,以便与第二外壳的接地板相接触。
以这种方式得到了连接器组件,其中第二连接器部分具有一块或多块接地板,当在连接器组件处于耦合位置时,作为两个连接器部分中的接触部件的屏蔽板。通过适当选择每一列中的信号和接地触头部件,就可能用这种方式以相对简单的结构实现最佳操作。
根据一个最佳实施例,第一外壳包括一个接地单元,对每个槽而言,接地单元至少有一块容纳进与槽相邻的阴口中的接地板,并带有接触装置,接触装置最好是一接触弹簧,它突伸进槽之中,用于与第二外壳的相应接地板相接触。采用这样的接地单元的优越性在于,在容纳连接器组件和相应的印刷电路板的安装***中,在由于该安装***的公差引起的有限的去耦合位置上,能够保证触针的列之间最佳接地屏蔽。
以下将参照附图进一步描述本发明,附图中表示了根据本发明的连接器组件的一些实施例。

图1是连接器组件1的局部剖面和局部分解的侧视图,该连接器组件1用于将一个印刷电路板2连接到通常表示为背板的印刷电路板3上。在图2中用剖面表示的第一连接器部分4安装在印刷电路板3上。连接器部分4包括一个绝缘材料构成的外壳5,其俯视图如图3所示,外壳分别具有一个底部6和两个相对的侧壁7、8。在底部6中形成有一些开口9,其中固定有作为阳接触部件的触针10。这些触针10按行和列排列,在所示的实施例中有六列,每列有五个触针10。分别根据图2的剖面图和图3的俯视图,每列触针包括四个信号触针,这四个触针由一个中央接地触针分成两对。在所示的实施例中,行方向的触针10之间的距离为2mm,因此每毫米就提供一对信号触点。以这种方式,每对信号触针可以传输一对不同的信号。
如果需要,也可以提供更多数目的触针10的行和列。另外,触针的列也可以包括一个信号触针和一个接地触针,或采用其它一些信号和接地触针的排列方式,甚至仅包括信号触针。
连接器组件1还包括一个第二连接器部分11,它带有一个由绝缘材料构成的第二外壳12。该第二外壳12利用***端13***到第一外壳5之中。以与触针10相同的方式排列的阴接触部件14安装在第二外壳12中,所述接触部件以人所共知的方式在图1的***位置与触针10相啮结合。从图1和2的剖面图可以看得很清楚,触针10和阴接触部件14分别都有部分15和16,通过***分别固定在印刷电路板3和2的一些所谓电镀通孔中。
第二连接器部分11包括在每列阴接触部件14两侧的接地板17,所述接地板17沿基本对应于外壳5的底部6之厚度的一段距离在***端13从外壳12向外突出。为了容纳接地板17的这些突出部分,外壳5的底部6提供有一些槽18。
以这种方式获得的是,对第二连接器部分11的接触部件14的每列的屏蔽也构成了对连接器组件1处于耦合位置时第一连接器部分4的触针10的列之间的屏蔽。接地板17可以在指向印刷电路板2的边缘处包括有适当的接触部件,所述这些接触部件例如与印刷电路板2表面处的接地导体层相接触。这些接触部件在图5中用标号17′表示。当然,也可以提供带有***接触部分的接地板17。
第一连接器部分4包括安装在第一外壳5的侧壁7、8上的屏蔽板19。这些屏蔽板19都有经侧壁7、8中的开口21伸进外壳5之中的接触弹簧20。此外,屏蔽板19具有接触区22,与印刷电路板3表面上的一个适当导体相接触。在图1所示的实施例中,屏蔽板19还包括接触弹簧23,在连接器组件1处于耦合位置时,接触弹簧23伸进外壳5的槽18,并与接地板17接触。侧壁8上的屏蔽板19的接触弹簧20与接地板17的边缘相接触。
连接器部分11还包括一个主要是L形的屏蔽板24,其中短脚沿外壳12的后侧延伸,长脚沿外壳12的上侧延伸。屏蔽板24短脚包括接触部分25,它们被***到印刷电路板2的开口之中,并与印刷电路板2的相应导体相接触。在图1所示的***位置中,侧壁7的屏蔽板19的那些接触弹簧20与屏蔽板24相接触。可以提供接地板17和/或适当接触装置的屏蔽板24,以确保屏蔽板24和接地板17之间的良好连接。作为另一种方案,除了屏蔽板24与每块接地板17的延伸部分26之间的接触之外,诸接地板17和该屏蔽板24不能够相互接触。如图1所示,延伸部分26从外壳12的后侧突出,并穿过屏蔽板24短脚中的槽,这在图1中是看不到的,在那里延伸部分26与屏蔽板24相接触。
从图2和3可以清楚地看到,槽18之间的底部6的部分27相互由筋28连接,以加强底部6的强度。
图4表示基本以与图1所示的连接器组件1相同的方式制成的连接器组件29,相应的部分标以相同的标号。在图1所示的连接器组件1中,外壳5侧壁8上屏蔽板19的接触弹簧20与接地板17的边缘接触,其中为了得到长时间的良好的工作性能,需要特殊加工接地板17的这些边缘。在连接器组件29中,借助于带有弧形接触装置31的连接板30,避免了接地板17的边缘与接触弹簧20之间的接触,所述连接板30接附于连接器部分11的下侧。当连接器组件29处于耦合位置时,这些弧形接触装置31与屏蔽板19的接触弹簧20相接触。处于这一位置安装在印刷电路板2上的连接板30,与印刷电路板2的相应的导体相连接,并且也与接地板17相接触。
连接器组件29的连接器部分11示于轴测图图5中,其中所示的屏蔽板24和连接板30是与外壳12分开的。图5所示的连接板30具有接触部件32,以确保与印刷电路板2表面上的导体有良好的连接。此外,连接板30包括一些开口33,以便借助于阳块34在外壳12上固定连接板,图5中只能见到一个阳块34。
从图5中还可以看到,屏蔽板24具有一些槽35,用于容纳外壳12后侧部分中的诸接地板17的延伸部分26。在每个槽35的两侧,都有与延伸部分26相配合的接触阳唇36。
在外壳12的上侧有两个定位阳块37,它们与第一连接器部分4外壳5的侧壁7中的槽38共同作用,使得连接器部分11可以仅在一个位置***连接器部分4。屏蔽板24具有两个槽39,其中容纳阳块37。形成的阳唇40在阳块37的突出部分之下啮合,以保持外壳12上的屏蔽板24。
应注意的是,在注射模压期间接地板17是安装在外壳12中的。接地板17被支撑在制造外壳12的模具中,并形成有由外壳12的绝缘材料填充的开口41、42,从而在外壳12中牢固地固定了接地板17。
如图3和5所示,靠外的槽18和接地板17分别具有一定的大小和行方向,这种大小是其余槽18和接地板17相应尺寸的一半。以这种方式可以一个接一个地分别放置多个连接器部分4和11,其中在两个连接器部分一个接一个地放置的情况下触针10与接触部件14的连续列之间的距离也能够得到保持。
图6表示基本以与连接器部分4相同的方式制成的第一连接器部分43,其中相应的部分标以相同的标号。在这种情况下,屏蔽板19还形成有接触舌状物44,它们通过焊接或其它适当的连接技术而与印刷电路板3的导体相连接。
在根据本发明的如图1至6所示的连接器组件的诸实施例中,接地板17与屏蔽板19、24相连。对某些应用来说,可以不需要进行屏蔽板和接地板之间的连接。图7表示连接器组件45,其中在屏蔽板和接地板之间形成了一段间隔。本实施例的其余部分与上述实施例相同,其中相应的部分标以相同的标号。图8是表示连接器组件45的第一连接器部分4的剖面图。

在图9所示的实施例中,接地单元51与屏蔽板19是一个整体,使得当采用连接器部分50时,在接地板17和屏蔽板19、24之间形成连接。如果需要将屏蔽和接地分开,就可以使接地单元51与屏蔽板19保持分离,这时接地单元51上形成有一个或多个适合的接地装置。
采用接地单元51有其优越性,在容纳连接器组件和对应的印刷电路板的安装***中,在由安装***的公差引起的有限的去耦位置上,能够保证触针10的列之间的最佳接地屏蔽。此外,利用与接地板17的表面啮合的接触弹簧54,保证了接地单元51和接地板17之间的长期良好连接。
应注意的是,为了说明目的图9中只画出了一个触针10。然而很清楚,外壳5的底部6中的所有开口9都有触针10。
虽然上述实施例中,在每列阴接触部件的每侧都提供了一个接地板,但是也可以在每两个接地板之间提供一列以上的接触部件。
图10以立体图的形式简略地表示与中央印刷电路板或背板3相连的多块印刷电路板2。印刷电路板3一侧的一些印刷电路板2垂直于印刷电路板3另一侧的一些印刷电路板2。为了连接印刷电路板2、3的各种导体,采用了连接器组件57,这些连接器组件57的制造方式基本与上述连接器组件类似。在图11至14中,更详细地表示了连接器组件57的两个连接器部分,在图15至18中,表示了连接器组件57的另一实施例的两个连接器部分。
连接器组件57包括一个如图11所示的第一连接器部分58和一个如图13、14所示的第二连接器部分59。第一连接器部分58包括外壳60,其中提供有分成四组、每组有四个的触针10。通过外壳60底部6中的基本上为十字形的槽61,触针10的组被相互分开。如同上述实施例,触针10实际上也排成行和列,在这种情况下,没有中央行和中央列,在该位置代之以十字形槽61。槽61将外壳60底部6分成四个象限,在本实施例中每个象限包括四个触针10。也可以具有不同数量的行和列,使得每个象限包括不同数目的触针10。
在这种情况下,外壳60的侧壁7、8通过另外的侧壁62、63相互连接,因此获得用于四周封闭的第二连接器部分59的接收空间。每个侧壁7、8、62、63都有屏蔽板19,它们的接触弹簧20经开口伸进外壳60之中。如图12所示,在连接器部分58的这一实施例中,屏蔽板19是接地单元64的一部分,其中接地单元64包括带有一些接触弹簧54的接地板65。在图11中,只能看到槽61中的两个接触弹簧54。很清楚,如同接地板52那样,接地板65被容纳在与槽61相邻的阴口中。
第二连接器部分59包括一个外壳壳66,其中安装了一个接地板单元67,它具有十字形截面。以与上述接触组件相同的方式,接地板单元67在从外壳66处从***端13处从壳突出出来,在耦合位置上该突出部分被容纳于第一连接器部分58的外壳60的槽61中。在其上侧、后侧和两个侧壁,外壳被屏蔽板68所包围,在***位置上屏蔽板68与屏蔽板19的诸接触弹簧20相接触。在位于外壳66的后侧的屏蔽板68部分有一个槽,其中容纳了接地板单元67的延伸部分26,并且通过接触舌状物70而将后者保持在槽中。在外壳66的下侧,以与图4的连接器组件相同的方式安装了一个带有弧形接触装置31的连接板30。在图13和14中看不到接触装置31。
在图13、14中未示出的每组四个触针10和每组四个阴接触部件包括相互成对角线排列的适合于不同信号的两个触针/接触部件。
连接器组件57还包括一个基本与第一连接器部分58的外壳60对应的第三外壳71。在印刷电路板2上安装第一连接器部分58之后,外壳71的底部安装在第一连接器部分58的触针10上。这一外壳71以其相应的部件在印刷电路板2的相反侧形成了一个第一连接器部分,其中以与连接器部分58相同的方式,第二连接器部分59可以被***这一连接器部分。
应注意的是,根据图13、14第二连接器部分59的接地板单元67由两块平板72、73构成,每块平板有一个槽74,图14中只能看见其中的一个。板72、73借助于它们的槽74相互滑动于其中,而获得接地板单元67。板72的延伸部分26被槽74分成两半。
在图15至18中,表示出第一连接器部分75和第二连接器部分76,它们在一起形成对应于连接器组件57的连接器组件。连接器部分75、76基本与连接器部分58、59相对应,其中相应的部分标以相同的标号。
在这种情况下连接器部分75包括一个没有侧壁62、63的外壳。为了在外壳60底部6的各个边缘处得到良好的屏蔽,接地单元64还包括一些接地板65,接地板65在这些边缘处带有接触弹簧54,正如从图16中可以具体地看到的那样。此外,第二连接器部分76的屏蔽板68的侧壁部分这时包括包围外壳60的开放侧的延伸部分77。以与连接器部分59相同的方式,接地板单元67从外壳66的***端13突出出来。在这种情况下,接地板单元67由两块相同的接地板78构成,每一块板弯曲90°。每块接地板78具有一延伸部分79,它们在后侧穿过屏蔽板68的槽向外突出,并且通过相应的接触舌状物70而被保持在槽中。
图17和18表示带有弧形接触装置31的连接板30。
应注意的是,在图10至18的连接器组件的实施例中,接地单元64与屏蔽板19、68相接触。然而,在这种情况下恰似前面所描述过的实施例那样,可以将接地和屏蔽分开。为此,不将屏蔽板19做成接地单元64的一部分。
应注意的是,每个触针10都有一个在该触针两侧突出的肩台80,其上表面可以在图9中看到。由于在所述接触组件中触针10仅以2mm的间隔安装,并且槽18和61分别形成在触针的列之间,所以不可能像至今常规那样将带有肩台的触针10对准行方向。在所述连接器组件中,肩台80指向列方向,如图3、9、11和15所示。从而触针部分82的接触面81伸进外壳,它们在常规的触针中平行于肩台80而延伸,接触面81也将沿列方向延伸。在应用通常的阴接触部件时,这些阴接触部件不再与触针10的接触面81共同作用。在根据本发明的连接器组件中,触针因此用于第一连接器部分中,该部分具有相对于其余触针部分扭曲90°的触针部分82。以这种方式可获得一些沿行方向延伸的接触面81,使得它们能正确地与阴接触部件相接触。这些具有扭曲的触针部分82的触针10也可以优越地用于根据图10至18的连接器组件之中。由此做到使触针10的诸接触面在印刷电路板2的两侧延伸至正确的方向延伸。
在同一天申请的专利申请中描述了制造具有扭曲触针部分的触针适用的方法。
虽然以上结合用于印刷电路板的连接器组件的应用对本发明进行了描述,但是本发明还可以用于其它类型的连接器组件,例如电缆连接器等。
本发明不限于上述实施例,在权利要求书的范围内本发明可做各种变化。
Claims (9)
1、连接器组件,包括一第一连接器部分,第一连接器部分带有一由绝缘材料构成的第一外壳,具有一个底部和两个相对的侧壁,一些阳接触部件安装在外壳的底部上并且排成行和列,还具有一些从外壳的底部突出的部分,这些突出部分可以***相应的印刷电路板的孔之中,以及
一第二连接器部分,有一由绝缘材料构成的第二外壳,适合于以一个***端***该第一外壳之中,还带有一些安装在外壳中的阴接触部件,其以相应的方式排成行和列,并具有一些从外壳的下侧突出的部分,这些突出部分可被***相应的印刷电路板的孔之中,其特征在于:
第二连接器部分包括至少一个接地板,该接地板沿基本相当于第一外壳的底部厚度的一段距离从所述外壳的***端向外突出;并且
在第一外壳的底部至少有一个槽,用于容纳接地板;
其中所述第一外壳包括形成在侧壁上的屏蔽板,屏蔽板具有接触装置,用于与相应印刷电路板的相应导体相连接,其中每个接地装置在外壳的底部的一个槽中向外突出,以便与第二外壳的接地板相接触。
2、根据权利要求1的连接器组件,其特征在于第一外壳包括一个接地单元,对每个槽而言,接地单元至少有一个容纳于与槽相邻的阴口中的接地板,并有一接触装置,接触装置最好是一接触弹簧,它伸进槽中,用于与第二外壳的一个对应接地板相接触。
3、根据权利要求2的连接器组件,其特征在于接地单元对每个槽而言具有两块接地板。
4、根据权利要求3的连接器组件,其特征在于每一接地板包括一个基本是H形的主部分,其中H形的两条竖脚的每一个对准阳接触部件的一行。
5、根据权利要求2、3或4的连接器组件,其特征在于接地单元和第一外壳的屏蔽板是一个整体。
6、根据上述任何一项权利要求的连接器组件,其特征在于第一外壳的每一屏蔽板包括至少一个接触区,用于接触外壳底部之下的印刷电路板的一个表面导体,和/或至少一个接触舌状物,用于与靠近外壳底部的印刷电路板的一个表面导体相连接。
7、根据上述任何一项权利要求的连接器组件,其特征在于屏蔽板具有经侧壁中的开口伸进外壳之中的接触弹簧装置,并且第二外壳包括一沿***端对面的外壳的上侧和后侧延伸的屏蔽板,所述屏蔽板具有用于与相应屏蔽导体相连的接触装置,所述屏蔽板与第一外壳相应的屏蔽板的接触弹簧装置相接触。
8、根据权利要求2至7中任一项的连接器组件,其特征在于接地板是作为具有十字形截面的接地板单元提供的,所述接地板单元将所述外壳分成带有多个互等的阳式接触部件的象限,并且外壳底部中的槽是一个十字形槽,所述接地单元包括四个接地板,每一个都被容纳在与该十字形槽的一个支路相邻的阴口中,并且每一个都包括一个接触装置,最好是一个接触弹簧,伸进槽支路之中,用于与第二外壳的接地板单元相接触。
9、根据权利要求7或8的连接器组件,其特征在于第二外壳的屏蔽板也沿侧壁延伸,第二外壳屏蔽板的侧壁部分相对于第二外壳的***端突出所述的距离,接地单元进一步具有被容纳在自由底部侧边缘中的阴口中的接地板,并且每个还包括一个接触装置,最好是一个接触弹簧,用于与第二外壳屏蔽板的突出侧壁部分相接触。
