技术领域
本发明涉及一种基于二硅酸锂体系的玻璃陶瓷,所述玻璃陶瓷易于在中间的结晶步骤进行机械加工,并在完全结晶后表现为高强度、高度半透明和化学上稳定的玻璃陶瓷。此外,本发明还涉及生产所述玻璃陶瓷的方法。本发明所述的玻璃陶瓷被用作牙科材料。
背景技术
根据文献和一些专利所熟知的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷均基于这一玻璃陶瓷体系。因此例如,在EP-B-536479中描述了用于生产餐具的自上釉(self-glazed)二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷体,在EP-B-536572中描述了通过在其表面上散布微粒状彩色玻璃而用作建筑衬砌单元的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷。
已授予专利权的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷主要集中在牙科应用。这是由于如下事实:通过强度较低的相(偏硅酸锂)引起二硅酸锂晶体的结晶,并且因此所述材料体系尤其经得起椅旁(chair-side)方法的检验(参见S.D.Stookey:“Chemical Machining of Photosensitive Glass”,Ind.Eng.Chem.,45,pp.115-118(1993)和S.D.Stookey:“PhotosensitivelyOpacifiable Glass”US-A-2,684,911(1954))。通过Borom的研究(如M.-PBorom,A.M.Turkalo,R.H.Doremus:“Strength and Microstructure inLithium Disilicate Glass-Ceramics”,J.Am.Ceream Soc.,58,No.9-10,pp.385-391(1975)和M.-P.Borom,A.M.Turkalo,R.H.Doremus:“Verfahren zum Herstellen von Glaskeramiken”(生产玻璃陶瓷的方法),以及DE-A-24 51 121(1974))显示出:与包含二硅酸锂作为单一结晶相(single crystalline phase)的玻璃陶瓷相比,包含偏硅酸锂作为主相(mainphase)的玻璃陶瓷具有降低的强度。
按如下顺序以两步结晶法使用这一原理:首先生产可进行良好机械加工的玻璃陶瓷,例如通过CAD/CAM方法;随后,在第二结晶步骤中对所述玻璃陶瓷进行处理以形成牙科玻璃陶瓷。这一方法适合于能够根据所谓的椅旁方法进行牙科修复。对于这一方法的情况,在牙医手术中借助于CAD/CAM于第一结晶步骤后由玻璃陶瓷块状物打磨出个体适用的牙冠/高嵌体/内嵌体(crown/onlay/inlay),然后在专门的烤箱中进行第二结晶步骤,并直接用于患者牙科初诊和复诊(first and only dentalappointment)中(DE 102005028637)。
此外,在WO-A-95/32678和US-A-5,507,981中描述了二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷,通过使用专门的可压缩坩埚(compressible crucible)借助于热压可对所述二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷进行处理,形成成型牙科产品。此外,由DE-C-1421886已知的是,基于SiO2和Li2O的玻璃陶瓷含有大量生理上非常值得怀疑的五氧化二砷。还在US-A-4,515,634和FR-A-2655264中公开了适合于生产牙冠和牙桥的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷。
所有已知的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷在如下方面表现出不足:在将其处理为成型产品方面;和/或在机械特性或视觉特性方面;和/或在化学稳定性方面。尤其是在牙科领域使用时,对于所有上述特性必须满足同样高的要求。
发明内容
由此开始,本发明的目的在于提供玻璃陶瓷,相对于现有技术已知的(玻璃)陶瓷,本发明所述玻璃陶瓷改进了机械特性和光学特性,并且还改进了化学稳定性。
通过具有权利要求1所述特征的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷以及通过具有权利要求9所述特征的生产这一玻璃陶瓷的方法实现了这一目的。在权利要求12中表明了如本发明所述的用途。同样地,还提供了具有权利要求13所述特征的成型牙科产品。进一步的从属权利要求揭示了有利的发展情况。
在本发明的保护范围内,已开发出的玻璃组合物可通过两步生产法加以制备,所述玻璃组合物在第一结晶步骤后易于进行加工(尤其是借助于CAD/CAM),并且在非常短暂的第二结晶步骤后,所述玻璃组合物比起已知的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷来说高度半透明、强度非常高并具有更好的化学稳定性。
令人惊讶的是,向某些玻璃组合物中添加ZrO2产生下述玻璃陶瓷:在中间结晶步骤可容易地对所述玻璃陶瓷进行加工,并且在其最终状态下,所述玻璃陶瓷具有出色的强度值、超乎寻常的半透明度和显著增强的化学稳定性。
已经证明,可向玻璃中并入至多20wt%的稳定剂而不会对其结构造成显著影响,所述稳定剂选自于由ZrO2、HfO2或其混合物所组成的组。与所有的预期都不同,稳定剂并没有在此作为单独的晶相(crystal phase)而结晶出来,而是仍然残留于残留玻璃相中。由于非晶相的高比例,使这一相的机械稳定性和化学稳定性得以大大改进,还实现了最终产品中的特性改进。
尤其是,通过所述残留玻璃相的组成可对化学稳定性加以改进,因为所述玻璃相比起二硅酸锂具有显著更高的溶解度,因此在化学侵蚀方面表现出弱点。稳定剂(ZrO2)在所述玻璃相中极高的溶解度尤其显著,这是因为例如氧化锆在许多硅酸盐玻璃陶瓷中充当了成核剂,即,在温度处理期间作为第一相结晶出来,有助于实际上寻求的晶相并使所述晶相以细晶方式(fine-crystalline manner)在ZrO2晶体上沉积。
由于本质上残留于非晶相中的稳定剂的高比例,结晶的比例也被相应地限定。作为结果,并且由于二硅酸锂晶体的晶粒尺寸(crystallite size)低,在第二次结晶后使材料产生良好的半透明度。然而,通过由稳定剂转而引起玻璃相折射率的增高并因此与所述二硅酸锂的折射率相适应,使得半透明度进一步改进。在玻璃陶瓷中非晶基体相的折射率与结晶相的折射率相一致的情况下,获得非常良好的半透明特性,相对而言不受晶粒尺寸的影响。因此,在本发明所述的玻璃陶瓷中,满足了生产极其半透明的玻璃陶瓷的所有三个点:
-受限的晶相比例;
-小晶体(<500nm);
-非晶相和结晶相的折射率相适应。
因此,相对于相应的不具有或仅具有低的ZrO2或HfO2比例的玻璃陶瓷,玻璃陶瓷中稳定剂的高比例具有如下作用:
-改进的化学稳定性;
-更高的强度值;
-在多个方面得以改进的半透明度。
优选可借助于如下方法来生产本发明所述的玻璃陶瓷,其中
a)生产初始玻璃(initial glass),所述初始玻璃包含所述玻璃陶瓷的组分;
b)对所述初始玻璃在第一温度下进行第一热处理,从而生产具有偏硅酸锂作为单一晶相或主晶相的玻璃陶瓷;并且
c)对这一玻璃陶瓷进行第二热处理,其中用来自玻璃相的SiO2使偏硅酸锂转变为二硅酸锂,随后二硅酸锂作为单一晶相或主晶相存在。
形成偏硅酸锂的结晶作用优选在620℃-800℃的温度下进行1-200分钟,更优选在650℃-750℃的温度下进行10-60分钟。
形成二硅酸锂的结晶作用优选在800℃-1040℃的温度下进行5-200分钟,更优选在为800℃-870℃的温度下进行5-30分钟。

将玻璃在1500℃下熔融并倒入金属模具中形成块状物。将所述块状物在熔炉中于560℃下进行应力消除并缓慢冷却。为用于不同的表征方法(characterisation processes),将所述玻璃块状物进行分割并进行第一结晶处理。出于这一目的,将所述玻璃在600℃-750℃下时效化10-120分钟。结果,生产出了强度值为150MPa到220MPa的玻璃陶瓷。由此,唯一地形成偏硅酸锂作为晶相。在这一状态下,借助于CAD/CAM方法进行加工是非常容易可行的。
随着在800℃-950℃下进行3-15分钟的短暂的第二结晶作用,用来自玻璃相的非晶SiO2使偏硅酸锂重结晶从而形成二硅酸锂,结果使强度值增高至300MPa到450MPa。除所述二硅酸锂相外,可由此产生具有氧化锆的次晶相(subsidiary crystal phase)。此外,还可存在少量的偏硅酸锂残留物。明确的主晶相是二硅酸锂。
在表2中,显示出了各玻璃的结晶条件和所得到的晶相及强度值。

Claims (14)

1.一种二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷,所述二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷具有以下组成:
SiO2:55wt%-70wt%;
Li2O:10wt%-15wt%;
稳定剂:10wt%-20wt%,所述稳定剂选自于由ZrO2、HfO2或其混合物所组成的组;
K2O:0.1wt%-5wt%;
Al2O3:0.1wt%-5wt%;
添加剂:0wt%-10wt%,所述添加剂选自于由硼氧化物、磷氧化物、氟、氧化钠、氧化钡、氧化锶、氧化镁、氧化锌、氧化钙、氧化钇、氧化钛、氧化铌、氧化钽、氧化镧及上述物质的混合物所组成的组;以及
着色剂:0wt%-10wt%,
其中,所述稳定剂本质上以非晶相形式存在。
2.根据权利要求1所述的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷,其特征在于,所述着色剂是使玻璃着色的氧化物和/或颜料。
3.根据权利要求2所述的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷,其特征在于,所述使玻璃着色的氧化物选自于由以下元素的氧化物所组成的组:铁;钛;铈;铜;铬;钴;镍;锰;硒;银;铟;金;稀土金属。
4.根据权利要求3所述的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷,其特征在于,所述稀土金属是钕、镨、钐、铕。
5.根据权利要求2所述的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷,其特征在于,所述颜料为掺杂尖晶石。
6.根据权利要求1或2所述的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷,所述二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷具有以下组成:
SiO2:58wt%-64wt%;
Li2O:11wt%-13wt%;
稳定剂:10wt%-15wt%,所述稳定剂选自于由ZrO2、HfO2或其混合物所组成的组;
K2O:2wt%-5wt%;
Al2O3:2wt%-5wt%;
P2O5:2wt%-5wt%;以及
添加剂:0wt%-5wt%,所述添加剂选自于由硼氧化物、磷氧化物、氟、氧化钠、氧化钡、氧化锶、氧化镁、氧化锌、氧化钙、氧化钇、氧化钛、氧化铌、氧化钽、氧化镧及上述物质的混合物所组成的组;以及
着色剂:0wt%-10wt%。
7.一种生产根据权利要求1-6中任一项所述的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷的方法,其中:
a)生产初始玻璃,所述初始玻璃包含所述玻璃陶瓷的组分;
b)对所述初始玻璃进行第一热处理,从而生产具有偏硅酸锂作为主晶相的玻璃陶瓷;
c)对步骤b)的玻璃陶瓷进行第二热处理,其中,用来自玻璃相的SiO2使偏硅酸锂转变为二硅酸锂,随后二硅酸锂作为主晶相存在。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于,使所述第一热处理在620℃-800℃的温度下进行1-200分钟。
9.根据权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于,使所述第一热处理在650℃-750℃的温度下进行10-60分钟。
10.根据权利要求7-9中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,使所述第二热处理在800℃-1040℃的温度下进行5-200分钟。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其特征在于,使所述第二热处理在800℃-870℃的温度下进行5-30分钟。
12.权利要求1-6中任一项所述的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷在作为牙科材料或者牙科材料组分方面的用途。
13.包含权利要求1-6中任一项所述的二硅酸锂玻璃陶瓷的成型牙科产品。
14.根据权利要求13所述的成型牙科产品,其特征在于,所述成型牙科产品是如下形式的成型牙科产品:内嵌体、高嵌体、牙桥、钉构造、牙贴面、牙冠或部分牙冠。
