Abstract
本发明涉及车辆用帘式安全气囊的安装结构。由充气机展开压力所展开的安全气囊垫安装在侧内板之间以便通过顶板和支柱饰板匹配的部分,稳定地向车厢内展开。充气机安装在侧内板和侧外板之间,安全气囊垫安装在顶板和侧内板之间。

本申请要求韩国专利申请No.10-2006-0099439的优先权和相关权益,该申请于2006年10月12日在韩国知识产权局申请,该申请的全部内容在此一并引入作为参考。
技术领域
本发明涉及车辆用帘式安全气囊的安装结构,更具体而言,涉及这样一种车辆用帘式安全气囊的安装结构,其中管状充气机(inflator)安装在侧内板(side inner panel)内和安全气囊垫安装在顶板(head lining)与侧内板之间。
背景技术
通常,车辆装备有各种安全装置用于在车辆撞击中保护乘客,安全装置的例子之一是安全气囊。
安全气囊安装到方向盘和缓冲垫(crash pad)上,并且其构造可以在车辆正面撞击时展开以便保护乘客。
同时,用于吸收由于侧撞击所产生冲击的侧安全气囊已经研发成功,并且所有的侧安全气囊,帘式气囊已被研发用于保护驾驶者和乘客的头部。
同时,构成车身一部分的支柱是钢制构架,该构架形成门的框架,按照其位置,所述支柱也被分成前柱,中柱,和后柱。支柱饰板(pillartrim)附加在面向车厢的支柱的表面。
图5是显示车辆用传统帘式安全气囊安装结构的图。在帘式安全气囊10中,该气囊被安装在顶板100和侧内板200之间,安全气囊垫12通过气压向车厢推动顶板100的一端部,由此向车厢内展开。
帘式安全气囊10的充气机11与安全气囊垫12布置在相同空间内,并且包括有用于保护乘客头部的减震肋(dampening rib)的减震结构 (shock absorbing structure)(没有示出)应用到相应于自由移动的头部(FMH free motion headform)的空间。
然而,很难在有限的小空间内同时布置帘式安全气囊10和减震结构。
发明内容
本发明致力于提供这样的车辆用帘式安全气囊安装结构,其优点在于能够获得足够的内表面,和通过在侧内板和侧外板之间安装管状充气机,以及在顶板和侧内板之间安装安全气囊垫,从而容易安装包括有用于保护乘客头部的减震肋的减震结构。
本发明的示例性实施方式提供这样的车辆用帘式安全气囊安装结构,其中安全气囊垫通过充气机的展开压力而展开,安全气囊垫安装在侧内板之间以便通过顶板和支柱饰板匹配的部分,稳定地向车厢内展开,其中充气机安装在侧内板和侧外板之间,安全气囊垫安装在顶板和侧内板之间。
充气机通过包围其外周围的安装支架,可以固定在侧内板或侧外板。
充气机通过完全包围其外周围的安装支架,可以固定在侧内板。

具体实施方式
本发明的示例性实施方式将在此后参照附图详细阐述。
图1至图3显示按照本发明的示例性实施方式的车辆用帘式安全气囊的安装结构。
在本发明的示例性实施方式中,因为帘式安全气囊10和相应于FMH的减震结构应被布置在顶板100和侧内板200之间的小空间内,将帘式安全气囊10的管状充气机11移至侧内板200和侧外板300,以便获得剩余的空间。
如上所述,车辆用帘式安全气囊10安装在顶板100和侧内板200之间,顶板100和侧内板200与中柱的支柱饰板150相交并具有预定的膨胀区域,从而在车辆侧面撞击时保护乘客以便减少乘客身体的伤害。
此处,帘式安全气囊10的安全气囊模块包括安全气囊垫12和充气机11,充气机11供给高压展开气体以便向车厢内展开安全气囊垫12。
当安全气囊模块安装在顶板100和侧内板200之间时,为最大化使用空间,安全气囊垫12布置在顶板100和侧内板200之间,以便通过顶板100和支柱饰板150相匹配的部分,稳定地向车厢膨胀,充气机11安装在侧内板200和侧外板300之间的剩余空间,如图3所示。
因为帘式安全气囊10的安全气囊模块的安全气囊垫12和充气机11分别安装在车辆的车身板内(body panel)分开的剩余空间内,因此可以获得剩余空间。所以,包括有用于保护乘客头部的减震肋的减震结构(没有示出)能被容易地安装。
如附图所示,充气机11通过包围充气机11外周围的安装支架20固定到侧外板300的侧内板。在本发明的示例性实施方式中,如图1所示,安装支架20包围了充气机11外周围的一半和固定到侧外板300。在本发明另一个实施方式中,如图2所示,安装支架20完全包围充气机11的外周围且固定到侧内板200。在本发明另外的一个实施方式中,如图3所示,安装支架20包围充气机11的外圆周的一半且固定到侧内板200。
如上所述,充气机11通过安装支架20安装在侧内板200和侧外板300之间,充气机11给安装在顶板100和侧内板200之间的安全气 囊垫12供给高压展开气体,以便在车辆受侧撞击时保护乘客,并且在这样的情况下,充气机11和安全气囊垫12之间的距离与安全气囊垫12的展开时间无关,并且安全气囊垫12的展开时间与充气机11的膨胀压力有关,而不是与充气机11的安装位置有关。
尽管本发明已经通过当前被认为是具有可操作性的示例性实施方式加以阐明,然而应当理解本发明并非局限于所披露的实施方式,相反,本发明覆盖各种包含在附加的权利要求精神和范围内的不同变形和等同布置。
如上所述,按照本发明示例性实施方式的车辆用帘式安全气囊的安装结构,因为管状充气机安装在侧内板和侧外板之间,以便获得足够的内部空间,由此使得包括有用于保护乘客头部的减震肋的减震结构被容易地安装。
Claims (3)
1.车辆用帘式安全气囊的安装结构,其中由充气机展开压力所展开的安全气囊垫安装在侧内板之间以便通过顶板和支柱饰板匹配的部分,稳定地向车厢内展开,其中充气机安装在侧内板和侧外板之间,安全气囊垫安装在顶板和侧内板之间。
2.如权利要求1所述的安装结构,其中充气机通过包围其外周围的安装支架固定到侧内板或侧外板。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的安装结构,其中充气机通过完全包围其外周围的安装支架固定到侧内板。
