信号处理装置及其控制方法
本申请要求于2005年11月6日在韩国知识产权局提交的韩国专利申请第2005-0109643号的优先权,该申请的公开通过引用在此并入。
技术领域
本发明涉及一种信号处理装置及其控制方法,尤其涉及一种更方便用户的信号处理装置及其控制方法。
背景技术
诸如液晶显示(LCD)电视(TV)的信号处理装置从广播电台或从诸如磁带录像机(VCR)、数字多用盘(DVD)播放器、个人计算机(PC)等的外部设备接收视频信号和/或音频信号,对所接收的视频信号和/或所接收的音频信号进行处理,然后输出所处理的视频信号和/或音频信号。
图1是相关技术的信号处理装置1的示意性方框图。信号处理装置1包括信号接收器11、解码器12、定标器13、显示器14、模数(AD)转换器15、数字视频接收器16、音频处理器17、信号放大器18、音频输出单元19和控制器20。信号接收器11接收射频(RF)信号。解码器12从信号接收器11接收模拟视频信号并输出数字视频信号。AD转换器15将所接收的诸如“Component”或“HVRGB”的模拟视频信号转换为数字视频信号。数字视频接收器16接收诸如“DVI/HDMI”的数字视频信号并多路分解所接收的数字视频信号。定标器13从解码器12、AD转换器15和数字视频接收器16中的至少一个接收视频信号,根据显示器14的特性和用户的设置来调整视频信号的分辨率,以及输出具有所调整的分辨率的视频信号给显示器14。音频处理器17从信号接收器11接收音频信号并对所接收的音频信号解码,或输出所接收的“Audio L/R”信号。信号放大器18放大从音频处理器17输出的音频信号。音频输出单元19基于从信号放大器18接收的音频信号来输出声音。控制器20控制所述组件的整个操作。
如上所述结构,信号处理装置1的组件能够使用集成电路(IC)来实现。当对信号处理装置1加电时,需要对所述组件初始化。例如,需要通过硬件和/或软件来重置所述组件。尤其,信号接收器11要求“锁相环(PLL)”、“电荷泵”等的初始化。解码器12要求“输入端口切换”、“箝位”和“模数转换器设立”等的初始化。在许多情况下,对于所述组件进行初始化要花费很多时间。尤其,当用LCD平板实现显示器14时,在对该平板供电后,与其他组件相比,背光(未示出)接通、脉宽调制(PWM)减光、模拟减光等的初始化要花费很多的时间。
然而,在相关技术的信号处理装置1中,由于单个控制器20负责控制其他组件,所以不利的是每次只执行一个命令。因此,在确认对信号处理装置1加电时,控制器20根据预定顺序一个接一个地对所述组件初始化。所以,在完成所有组件的初始化之后,将花很多的时间在屏幕上显示视频。
发明内容
本发明提供一种通过缩短初始化时间来更方便用户的信号处理装置,以及所述信号处理装置的控制方法。
根据本发明的一个方面,提供了一种信号处理装置,包括:信号接收器,用于接收视频信号;视频处理器,用于处理由所述信号接收器接收的视频信号;显示器,用于基于所述视频处理器处理的所述视频信号来显示视频图像;主控制器,用于确定是否对所述信号处理装置加电,并且对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器初始化;以及副控制器,用于在所述主控制器对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器中的至少一个初始化时,对所述显示器初始化。
所述主控制器首先初始化具有最长初始化时间的所述视频处理器和所述信号接收器中的一个。所述视频处理器包括解码器,其对由所述信号接收器接收的视频信号解码。
所述信号接收器还接收音频信号,并且,所述装置还包括音频处理器,用于处理由所述信号接收器接收的所述音频信号。所述信号处理装置还包括信号放大器,用于放大由所述音频处理器处理的所述音频信号。所述信号处理装置还包括音频输出单元,用于输出由所述信号放大器放大的所述音频信号。所述主控制器对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器中的至少一个初始化进行初始化时,所述副控制器对所述音频处理器和所述信号放大器中的至少一个进行初始化。
所述副控制器按照基于所述显示器、所述音频处理器和所述信号放大器的初始化时间的顺序来对所述显示器、所述音频处理器和所述信号放大器初始化。所述副控制器控制所述音频处理器来处理所述音频信号,该音频信号由所述信号接收器接收和从该信号接收器输出。
根据本发明的另一方面,提供了一种信号处理装置的控制方法,该信号处理装置包括:用于接收视频信号的信号接收器、用于处理由所述信号接收器接收的视频信号的视频处理器和显示由所述视频处理器处理的所述视频信号的显示器,该方法包括:确定是否对所述信号处理装置加电;如果确定对所述信号处理装置进行了加电,则对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器初始化;以及在对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器中的至少一个初始化时,对所述显示器初始化。
对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器初始化还包括首先对具有最长初始化时间的所述视频处理器和所述信号接收器中的一个初始化。
所述信号接收器还接收音频信号,所述信号处理装置还包括:音频处理器,用于处理由所述信号接收器接收的所述音频信号;和信号放大器,用于放大由所述音频处理器处理的所述音频信号,以及,所述信号处理装置的所述控制方法还包括:在对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器中的至少一个初始化时,所述音频处理器和所述信号放大器中的至少一个初始化。
初始化所述显示器、所述音频处理器和所述信号放大器包括首先初始化具有最长初始化时间的所述显示器、所述音频处理器和所述信号放大器中的一个。
所述控制方法还包括控制所述音频处理器来处理所述音频信号,该音频信号由所述信号接收器接收并从该信号接收器输出。

具体实施方式
现在将对本发明的示例性实施例进行详细地介绍,在附图中,表示了其示例,其中在全部的附图中,相同的附图标记表示相同的元件。下面对示例性实施例进行说明,以便通过引用附图来解释本发明。
图2是根据本发明示例性实施例的信号处理装置10的示意性方框图。信号处理装置10可以是诸如LCD TV、等离子体显示面板(PDP)TV、数字光处理(DLP)TV等的数字TV。信号处理装置10从广播电台或从诸如VCR、DVD装置、PC等的外部设备接收视频信号和/或音频信号,对所接收的视频信号和/或所接收的音频信号进行处理、然后输出所处理的视频信号和/或音频信号。信号处理装置10具有两个控制器来并行初始化两个或多个组件,因此,通过缩短初始化时间能够更方便用户。
如图2所示,信号处理装置10包括信号接收器110、视频处理器120、显示器130、主控制器191和副控制器192。信号接收器110接收射频(RF)视频信号。信号接收器110在主控制器191的控制下将视频信号调谐到与用户选择的频道对应的频率。从信号接收器110输出的视频信号可以在诸如图像中频(PIF)的中频中携载视频。
视频处理器120从信号接收器110接收视频信号并处理该视频信号。视频处理器120包括解码器121和定标器122。解码器121从信号接收器110接收模拟视频信号并通过执行模数(AD)转换和解码模拟视频信号而输出数字视频信号。
定标器122从解码器121接收视频信号,根据显示器130的特性和用户的设置来调整视频的分辨率,以及输出具有所调整的分辨率的视频信号给显示器130。
显示器130从定标器122接收视频信号并基于所接收的视频信号显示图像。显示器130能够根据显示的形式包括LCD面板或PDP面板等。
主控制器191控制信号接收器110和视频处理器120。主控制器191通过检查用户是否对信号处理装置10加电来对信号接收器110和视频处理器120进行初始化。信号处理装置10还可以包括用户输入单元101,通过该用户输入单元,主控制器191可以从用户接收输入信息。用户输入端元101可以通过遥控器来实现。
主控制单元191初始化信号接收器110的“PLL”、“电荷泵”、“SAW滤波器”和“AGC”,初始化解码器121的“输入端口切换”、“箝位”、“ADC设置”和“输出格式设置”,以及初始化定标器122的“输入端口切换”和“对比度/亮度/颜色/色彩设置”。
最好但不是必须,主控制器191首先初始化具有最长初始化时间的组件。例如,如果定标器122在信号接收器110、解码器121和定标器122中具有最长的初始化时间,那么,主控制器191可以首先初始化定标器122。
此外,控制器191根据用户设置信号能够初始化组件。例如,在对信号处理装置断电之前用户刚好在观看的时刻,主控制器191能够初始化对应于与频道号、音量和屏幕调整状态相关的信息的组件。在这种情况下,信号处理装置10还包括信息存储器102,其中最好存储用户设置信息,
副控制器192与初始化其他组件的主控制器191并行初始化显示器130,同时与主控制器191通信。在信号处理装置10是LCD TV的情况下,副控制器192初始化显示器130的“平板电源”、“背光(未示出)接通”、“PWM减光”、“模拟减光”。
信号处理装置10还可以包括音频处理器160、信号放大器170和音频输出单元180。音频处理器160接收音频信号,该音频信号包含来自信号接收器110的音频信号(audio),并且,音频处理器160对于所述音频信号执行音频解码,或者接收和输出“音频L/R”信号。信号放大器170放大从音频处理器160输出的音频信号,诸如扬声器等的音频输出单元180基于从信号放大器170接收的音频信号输出声音。
副控制器192能够初始化音频处理器160和信号放大器170以及显示器130。尤其,副控制器192初始化音频处理器160的“声音端口切换”、“预定标(prescale)”、“削弱(deemphasis)”、“均衡器”和“平衡”等,以及初始化信号放大器170的“音量”和“静音开/关”等。
最好但不是必须,与主控制器191类似,副控制器192按照最长初始化时间到最短初始化时间的顺序来初始化组件。
信号处理装置10还包括AD转换器15和数字视频接收器16,并且接收和处理各种格式的视频信号。AD转换器15将所接收的诸如“component”和“HVRGB”的模拟视频信号转换为数字视频信号。数字视频接收器16多路分解诸如“DVI/HDMI”的所接收的数字视频信号。定标器122对从AD转换器15和数字视频接收器16输出的视频信号定标。
在完成初始化后,主控制器191和副控制器192控制所述组件来接收视频信号和/或音频信号,以及对于所接收的信号输出图像和声音。具体地讲,主控制器191和副控制器192设置各个相应的组件。在这种情况下,主控制器191和副控制器192基于它们相应的输入信号来执行组件设置。
例如,主控制器191设置信号接收器110的“PLL”、“电荷泵”、“SAW滤波器”和“AGC”,设置解码器121的“输入信号标准标识”、“滤波器设置”和“混频器设置”,以及设置定标器122的“捕捉/显示设置”和“定标系数设置”,而副控制器192设置音频处理器160的“输入信号标准标识”和“滤波器设置”。
此时,副控制器192使用从主控制器191接收的信息来检查是否完成了信号接收器110的设置,然后基于从信号接收器110输出的音频信号来设置音频处理器160。从信号接收器110输出的音频信号可以包含在诸如声音中频(SIF)的中频中的音频。
注意主控制器191和副控制器192可以通过由诸如中央处理单元(CPU)的微处理器执行的计算机程序来实现。
图3的流程图是根据本发明示例性实施例的信号处理装置10的控制方法。首先,在操作S100,确定用户是否对信号处理装置10加电。如果确定对信号处理装置10加了电,则在操作S110中主控制器单元初始化信号处理装置10的信号接收器110、解码器121、AD转换器15和数字视频接收器16。在操作S111中,与主控制器时间并行的副控制器单元初始化信号处理装置10的音频处理器160、显示器130和信号放大器170。
当主控制器单元完成信号接收器110、解码器121、AD转换器15和数字视频接收器16的初始化时,在操作S102中,根据输入视频信号设置信号接收器110。当完成对信号接收器110的设置时,在操作S103中,根据从信号接收器110输出的视频信号来设置解码器121。在设置解码器121后,在操作S104中,根据从解码器121输出的视频信号来设置定标器122。
最后,在操作S112中,副控制器单元确定是否完成了信号接收器110的设置。如果确定完成了信号接收器110的设置,那么,在操作S113中,根据从信号接收器110输出的音频信号来设置音频处理器160。
所以,本发明提供了一种通过缩短初始化时间来更方便用户的信号处理装置及其控制方法。
尽管已经示出和描述了本发明的几个实施例,但是本领域的技术人员将理解在不偏离本发明的原理和精神的情况下可以改变这些实施例,将其范围在所附的权利要求及其等效物中限定。

Claims (15)

1.一种信号处理装置,包括:
信号接收器,用于接收视频信号;
视频处理器,用于处理由所述信号接收器接收的视频信号;
显示器,用于基于所述视频处理器中处理的所述视频信号来显示视频;
主控制器,用于确定是否对所述信号处理装置加电,并且对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器进行初始化;以及
副控制器,用于在所述主控制器对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器中的至少一个进行初始化时,对所述显示器进行初始化。
2.根据权利要求1的所述信号处理装置,其中,所述主控制器首先初始化所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器中具有最长初始化时间的一个。
3.根据权利要求1或2的所述信号处理装置,其中,所述视频处理器包括用于对由所述信号接收器接收的视频信号进行解码的解码器。
4.根据权利要求1或2的所述信号处理装置,其中,所述视频处理器包括定标器,用于对由所述信号接收器接收的所述视频信号定标。
5.根据权利要求1或2的所述信号处理装置,其中,所述信号接收器还接收音频信号,并且
其中,所述装置还包括音频处理器,用于处理由所述信号接收器接收的所述音频信号。
6.根据权利要求5的所述信号处理装置,还包括信号放大器,用于放大由所述音频处理器处理的所述音频信号。
7.根据权利要求6的所述信号处理装置,还包括音频输出单元,用于输出由所述信号放大器放大的所述音频信号。
8.根据权利要求6的所述信号处理装置,其中,在所述主控制器对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器中的至少一个进行初始化时,所述副控制器对所述音频处理器和所述信号放大器中的至少一个进行初始化。
9.根据权利要求8的所述信号处理装置,其中,所述副控制器按照基于所述显示器、所述音频处理器和所述信号放大器的初始化时间的顺序来对所述显示器、所述音频处理器和所述信号放大器进行初始化。
10.根据权利要求5的所述信号处理装置,其中,所述副控制器控制所述音频处理器来处理所述音频信号,该音频信号由所述信号接收器接收和从该信号接收器输出。
11.一种信号处理装置的控制方法,该信号处理装置包括:用于接收视频信号的信号接收器、用于处理由所述信号接收器接收的视频信号的视频处理器和显示由所述视频处理器处理的所述视频信号的显示器,该方法包括:
确定是否对所述信号处理装置加电;
如果确定对所述信号处理装置进行了加电,则对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器进行初始化;以及
在对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器中的至少一个进行初始化时,对所述显示器初始化。
12.根据权利要求11的所述控制方法,其中,对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器进行初始化还包括首先对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器中具有最长初始化时间的一个进行初始化。
13.根据权利要求11或12的所述控制方法,其中,所述信号接收器还接收音频信号,
其中,所述信号处理装置还包括:音频处理器,用于处理由所述信号接收器接收的所述音频信号;和信号放大器,用于放大由所述音频处理器处理的所述音频信号,以及
其中,所述控制方法还包括:在对所述信号接收器和所述视频处理器进行初始化时,对所述音频处理器和所述信号放大器中的至少一个进行初始化。
14.根据权利要求13的所述控制方法,其中,初始化所述显示器、所述音频处理器和所述信号放大器包括首先初始化所述显示器、所述音频处理器和所述信号放大器中具有最长初始化时间的一个。
15.根据权利要求13的所述控制方法,还包括控制所述音频处理器来处理所述音频信号,该音频信号由所述信号接收器接收并从该信号接收器输出。
