Description
BESCHREIBUNG DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a thermal insulation system in a pitched roof, which has rafters, on which a closed roof formwork and then with the interposition of an air- and diffusion-tight film-like intermediate layer, a multi-part insulation layer is applied, the individual parts of which are covered with a mutually overlapping lamination layer, whereby on the Insulating layer spaced from each other from the ridge to the eaves are arranged for a roof battens with a roof covering.
In such a known insulation system (DE-OS 28 39 767) rollable thermal insulation sheets made of an organic or inorganic foam are placed loosely as an insulation layer parallel to the eaves and held in position at certain intervals by support planks also running parallel to the eaves. The rollable thermal insulation sheets each have an overlapping lamination layer that protrudes on one longitudinal and one head side of each thermal insulation sheet in such a way that both the support planks and the abutting edges of the thermal insulation sheets that were previously laid in parallel are covered.
The support planks used in this known thermal insulation system are made of wood and are to be laid at a mutual distance of about 2 m. These support planks thus interrupt the thermal insulation layer laid on the roof formwork several times and thereby each represent a cold or thermal bridge through which cold or warmth can get from the roof covering to the interior of the building. Overall, the effect of the insulation layer is therefore deteriorated by the use of the specified support planks. In addition, the support planks can bend, which then has an unfavorable effect on the roof covering.
If, on the other hand, one would omit these known support planks, there would also be no more satisfactory insulation from the installed rollable thermal insulation sheets, 5 since then the pressure of the roof, consisting of its own weight, snow and wind load, would compress the thermal insulation sheets.
Finally, the well-known overlapping lamination layer consists of an air- and diffusion-tight bitumen roofing membrane, so that even if the seam and butt overlaps remain unglued, diffusion-related moisture accumulation cannot be ruled out. This measure is therefore not sufficient for satisfactory diffusion openness in order to dissipate the moisture which may have been introduced into the insulation material sheets during installation or improper construction site storage via the diffusion path.
In this context, an insulation element for a so-called sub-roof is also known (DE-OS 34 37 446), which consists essentially of a rectangular mineral fiber plate 2 ° with an overlapping lamination layer applied on one side and a so-called reinforcing profile carrier. The reinforcement profile carrier is attached to a long side of the mineral fiber board below the liner and is intended to prevent the insulation element from being compressed by the roof load when installed. Here, too, it has already been recognized that when a reinforcement profile carrier is used, heat or cold bridges can arise, so that it therefore consists of two different materials, namely a wooden beam with an applied insulation layer made of rigid foam.
The object of the invention is to improve the known thermal insulation system for the external insulation of pitched roofs described at the outset in such a way that the disadvantages described are no longer present, and in addition 35 it is ensured that the installed insulation layer can be walked on without damage.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
The advantages that can be achieved with the invention are, in particular, that an insulation layer that is directly arranged next to one another provides a full-surface insulation layer that is not interrupted by any heat or cold bridges. The specified compressive strength of> 50 kN / m2 also ensures that the insulating material has a long-term stability with regard to the static load transfer, which makes it possible for the weight of the roof covering along with wind and snow loads to be immediate, i.e. without the interposition of any wooden planks or force-transmitting metal profile beams or the like, can be taken up by the insulation layer. Furthermore, the chosen lamination layer makes it possible to dispense with the so-called underlay, which is otherwise customary, since the present thermal insulation system also takes on this function. In addition, the thermal insulation system according to the invention can also serve as a so-called emergency cover, which remains functional for a longer period of time if the overlap joints of the liner layer are glued. This measure is advantageously possible due to the special design of the liner layer, since it does not endanger its openness to diffusion, specifically because of the nature of the liner layer itself and its only partial adhesion to the respective insulation board. The areal diffusion openness of the liner layer would namely be destroyed if the entire surface was glued. On the other hand, the connection between the lamination layer and the insulation board must be so firm that there is a shear-resistant connection. A point-like gluing is therefore particularly suitable, which of course can also be designed in the form of a strip. The term partial should therefore be used to generally express the types of bonding mentioned above,

H. there should be no full-surface connection. Finally, the thermal insulation system according to the invention is designed to be tread-resistant in such a way that it can be walked on without damaging the lamination layer and the insulation panels arranged underneath.
In an expedient embodiment of the thermal insulation system according to the invention, the liner layer consists of a glass-fleece-reinforced plastic film, the insulation panels consisting of bound non-combustible basalt fibers. Furthermore, the entire insulation layer is supported on the eaves side only as a laying aid on an abutment, such as a beam or board. The roof loads, such as the weight of the cover as well as wind and snow loads, are partly carried off on the one hand by the pressure-resistant insulation panels themselves and on the other hand as a thrust on the rafters via the base slats.
Es zeigt: Two exemplary embodiments of the thermal insulation system according to the invention are described below with reference to the drawing. It shows:

Fig. 5 als Draufsicht einen Ausschnitt eines gedämmten Steildaches ohne Dachabdeckung, jedoch mit einem Dachüberstand, und Fig. 5 is a plan view of a section of an insulated pitched roof without a roof covering, but with a roof overhang, and
Fig. 6 is a sectional view along the line VI-VI in Fig. 5, but with a roof cover.
The pitched roof in Fig. 4 has rafters 1, on which a closed roof formwork 2, consisting of individual profile boards 3 shown in simplified form in the drawing, is nailed. An air- and diffusion-tight (according to DIN 4109) film-like intermediate layer 4 is applied to the roof formwork 2, which in the present example consists of a conventional bitumen roofing membrane according to DIN 52 143. On the intermediate layer 4 there is an insulation layer 5, which consists of several identical insulation panels 6 strung together in a butt joint. Several of such insulation panels 6 are shown in FIG. 1 in combination. Each insulation board 6 has a compressive strength of 50 kN / m2 and consists of mineral fibers bonded with synthetic resin, preferably basalt fibers. It also has a lamination layer 7 on its upper side, which is attached to the surface of the latter by means of a so-called hot-melt adhesive (industrial contact adhesive). In FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, two corresponding bonding options are shown for this, namely a strip-shaped adhesive with strips 27 and a punctiform one with points 28.
Each liner 7 consists of a plastic-coated polyester spunbond and is open to diffusion, but at the same time also water-repellent (driving rain-proof) and tread-resistant. The 5 lamination layer 7 protrudes 8 cm on one longitudinal and one end side of each insulation board 6, so that overlap edges 8 and 9 arise on the angle side. As from Fîg. 1, 4, 5 and 6, the butt joints of adjoining insulation panels 6 are covered by means of the overlapping edges 8 and 9. Here, the overlapping edges 8 of the longer side of the laminating layer 7 each point in the direction of the eaves 29, so that all rainwater or other liquid can always run off in the direction of the eaves 29.
Exactly over the rafters 1, base battens 11 are placed directly on the insulation layer 5 and fastened to the respective rafters 1 by rafter nails 12, which reach through the insulation layer 5 and the intermediate layer 4. On the base battens 11 are nailed at right angles to these usual roof battens 13. On the eaves side 29, the insulation layer 5 is supported on an abutment 14, which in the present case is a so-called eaves beam.
The partial roof shown in Fig. 5 has in principle the same thermal insulation system as shown in Fig. 1 to 4. Only the roof-25 rafters designated here 15 form an uninsulated roof overhang, for which purpose they are each doubled in the eaves area 29 by a compensation beam 16. A formwork board 17 is used as an abutment for the insulation layer 5, which is supported against the compensation beam 16 and is fastened to the latter with the formation of a water passage slot 19 30 at a distance from the intermediate layer 4.
FIG. 6 shows a cross section of a pitched roof according to FIG. 5, but now in its finished expansion stage. The rafters 15 lie here on a purlin, which in turn rests on an outer wall 18 (not described in more detail), and 35 are also covered in the area of the roof overhang with profile boards 3 and the intermediate layer 4. As a result, a continuous drainage level from the ridge to the eaves is created below the insulation layer 5, for which purpose the continuous longitudinal slot 19 also serves in the formwork board 17 serving as an abutment. 40 The direction of drainage is indicated by an arrow 21. The compensation beam 16 is fastened to the rafter 15 by rafter nails 22, whereas the base slats 11 are in turn fastened to the compensation beam 16 in this area by shorter nails 23. The eaves end is designed as usual 45 and is therefore not described in detail. Only the ventilation of the roof should be mentioned briefly, indicated by the arrows 24 and 25. Roof plates 26, which are each suspended in the usual manner on the roof battens 13, serve as the conclusion of the steep roof insulated according to the invention.
