Fig. 1 zeigt einen erfindungsgemäss ausgebildeten Schachtoberteil in axialem Vertikalschnitt, wobei der Basisring, der Zwischenring und der Oberring in bezug aufeinander solche Drehstellungen haben, dass die kleinstmögliche Höhenabmessung des ganzen Schachtoberteiles eingestellt ist und die Oberseite des Oberringes horizontale Lage hat;

;
Fig. 6 ist ebenfalls eine zu Fig. 1 analoge Darstellung bei einer andern Drehstellung des Oberringes in bezug auf den Zwischenring, so dass die Oberseite des Oberringes die grösstmögliche Neigung gegenüber der Horizontalen aufweist;
The present invention relates to a manhole top, which is particularly suitable for use in sewer systems for water, electrical cables, gas pipes, etc., but can also be used in other vertical manholes, namely wherever a manhole cover with respect to an accessible and / or drivable Surrounding area should be aligned as precisely as possible.
The object of the invention is to provide a manhole top of the type mentioned, the top of which can be adjusted in a relatively simple and convenient manner either in height or / and in the inclination position within given limits in order to achieve the desired exact alignment of the top of the manhole top in order to adapt to the environment quickly and easily.
The upper part of the manhole found to solve this problem is characterized according to the invention in that a base ring, an intermediate ring and an upper ring are arranged axially one on top of the other, the base ring being intended to be placed on a vertical manhole and having at least one upwardly facing support surface for supporting the intermediate ring, the intermediate ring also has at least one upward-facing support surface for supporting the top ring and the top ring carries a removable cover and is intended to be set at the same level as a walk-on and / or drive-on surrounding surface so that the support surface of the base ring and a downward-facing support surface of the intermediate ring resting on it are arranged along helical lines,
all of which have the same pitch and each extend over 1 / n of the circumference of the ring in question, where n is an integer greater than 2 that the upward-facing support surface of the intermediate ring and a downward-facing support surface of the top ring resting on it lie in a common plane which is inclined with respect to the top of the top ring at an acute angle, and that the intermediate ring is inclined at an acute angle, and that the intermediate ring with respect to the base ring and the top ring with respect to the intermediate ring in a plurality of different rotational positions can be set, whereby the height position and / or the inclination position of the upper side of the upper ring with respect to the lower side of the base ring can optionally be changed.
If the rotational position of the intermediate ring with respect to the base ring is changed in the case of the upper shaft part described above, the distance between the upper side of the upper ring and the underside of the base ring is changed. If, however, the rotational position of the upper ring with respect to the intermediate ring is changed, the upper side of the upper ring experiences a change in direction in the sense of a change in its position of inclination, so that, for. B. a deviation between 0 and 10 from a parallel to the bottom of the base ring is adjustable.
The features and advantages of the invention as well as further details of embodiments of the invention emerge from the claims, from the description of exemplary embodiments which now follows and from the associated drawings.
Fig. 1 shows a shaft top designed according to the invention in axial vertical section, the base ring, the intermediate ring and the top ring having such rotational positions with respect to one another that the smallest possible height dimension of the entire shaft top is set and the top of the top ring has a horizontal position;
FIG. 2 shows the essential components of the upper part of the shaft in an exploded state in order to clarify the structural design;
Fig. 3 is a partial cross-section on the line III-III in Fig. 1;
Fig. 4 shows a partial cross-section along the line IVIV in Fig. 1;
FIG. 5 is an illustration analogous to FIG. 1 with a different rotational position of the base ring in relation to the intermediate ring, so that the entire upper shaft part has a greater height dimension;
;
FIG. 6 is also a representation analogous to FIG. 1 with a different rotational position of the upper ring with respect to the intermediate ring, so that the upper side of the upper ring has the greatest possible inclination with respect to the horizontal;
Fig. 7 shows a second example of a shaft upper part in axial section and with the components pulled apart.
As can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2, the upper part of the manhole consists of a base ring 11, an intermediate ring 12 supported on the base ring, an upper ring 13 resting on the intermediate ring and a removable cover 14 placed on the upper ring. These parts 11-14 have a common vertical central axis 15. The base ring 11 is intended with its underside 16 on a vertical shaft 17, for. B. made of concrete to be placed. On its inside, the base ring 11 has a shoulder 20 which forms an upwardly facing support surface for the intermediate ring 12. The shoulder 20 runs in the circumferential direction of the base ring 11 along helical sections 20a, 20b ..., which each extend over 90, i. H. V4 extend the circumference of the base ring and are all designed the same.
The transition from the highest point of a helical section, e.g. B. 20a, to the lowest point of the next following helical section, e.g. B. 20b, takes place in an abrupt step over a flank 21 which runs parallel to the axis 15 and radially thereto.
A circumferential collar 22 protrudes vertically upward from the shoulder 20 and radially outside thereof. At the free upper end of the circumferential collar 22, a second upwardly facing support surface 23 is formed which is at a constant distance from the shoulder 20 in the vertical direction. The mentioned distance is equal to the height dimension of the circumferential collar and is greater than the pitch of each individual helical section 20a, 20b .... It can be seen that the second support surface 23 also runs along the same helical sections 23a, 23b ..., which each extend over 1/4 of the circumference of the collar 22. The transition from the highest point of a helical section, e.g. B. 23a, to the lowest point of the next following helical section, e.g.
B. 23b, takes place in an abrupt step over a flank 24, which lies in the same plane as the corresponding flank 21 between successive helical sections 20a and 20b of the shoulder 20.
The inwardly facing circumferential surface of the collar 22 is provided with a plurality of ribs or teeth 25 which each extend in the vertical direction and are distributed at regular intervals over the entire circumference of the collar 22. In the illustrated embodiment, there are a total of twenty-four such ribs or teeth.
The intermediate ring 12 has on its outside a downwardly facing shoulder 30 which serves as a support surface for resting on the support surface 23 of the base ring 11. The shoulder 30 runs in the circumferential direction of the intermediate ring 12 along helical sections 30a, 30b ...., each extending over 1/4 of the circumference of the intermediate ring and all of the same design. Each of the helical sections 30a, 30b ... has the same pitch as the helical sections 23a, 23b ... on the base ring 11. The transition from the highest point of a helical section, e.g. B. 30a, to the lowest point of the next following helical section, e.g. B. 30b, takes place in an abrupt step over a flank 31 which runs parallel to the axis 15 and radially thereto.
Starting from the shoulder 30 and radially inside the same, a circumferential collar 32 projects vertically downwards. The diameter of this peripheral collar 32 is smaller than the diameter of the peripheral collar 22 of the base ring, so that the peripheral collar 32 of the intermediate ring 12 can be pushed coaxially into the peripheral collar 22 of the base ring. At the free lower end of the circumferential collar 32, a second, downwardly facing support surface 33 is formed, which is intended to rest on the shoulder 20 of the base ring 11. The support surface 33 runs along the same helical sections 33a, 33b..., Which each extend over 1/4 of the circumference of the collar 32.
The shoulder 30 and the support surface 33 have a constant distance from one another in the vertical direction, which corresponds to the corresponding distance between the shoulder 20 and the support surface 23 of the base ring. The transition from the highest point of a helical section, e.g. B. 33a, to the lowest point of the next following helical section, e.g. B. 33b, takes place in an abrupt step over a flank 34, which lies in the same plane as the corresponding flank 31 between successive helical sections 30a and 30b of the shoulder 30. The outwardly facing peripheral surface of the collar 32 is with a plurality of ribs or teeth 35 which each extend in the vertical direction and are distributed over the entire circumference of the collar 32 at regular intervals.
The number and the shape of the ribs or teeth 35 are selected such that they can be pushed into the spaces between the ribs or teeth 25 of the base ring 11 in a suitable manner.
On the inside of the intermediate ring 12 there is also an upwardly facing shoulder 40 which serves as a support surface for supporting the upper ring 13. The shoulder 40 runs in a plane which is inclined to the horizontal by a small angle of, for example, 5 ". Starting from the shoulder 40 and radially outside thereof, a circumferential collar 42 projects vertically upwards. At the free end of the collar 42 is a second, upwardly facing support surface 43 is formed, which runs in a plane parallel to shoulder 40. The shoulder 40 and the second, upwardly facing support surface 43 are spaced from one another in the vertical direction at a distance that is greater than the difference in height between the highest and the highest lowest point of shoulder 40.
On the inwardly facing circumferential surface of the collar 42 there is a plurality of ribs or teeth 45 which each extend in the vertical direction and are distributed at regular intervals over the entire circumference of the collar 42. In the embodiment shown, a total of twenty-four such ribs or teeth are provided.
The upper ring 13 has on its outside a downwardly facing shoulder 50, which serves as a support surface for resting on the upwardly facing support surface 43 of the intermediate ring 12. The shoulder 50 runs in a plane which has the same inclination as the plane in which the support surface 43 of the intermediate ring 12 is arranged. Starting from the shoulder 50 and radially within the same, a circumferential collar 52 projects downward. The diameter of this circumferential collar 52 is smaller than the diameter of the upwardly projecting circumferential collar 42 of the intermediate ring 12, so that the circumferential collar 32 of the upper ring 13 can be pushed coaxially into the circumferential collar 42 of the intermediate ring.
At the free lower end of the collar 52, a second, downwardly facing support surface 53 is formed, which is intended to rest on the shoulder 40 of the intermediate ring 12. The support surface 53 runs in a plane parallel to the shoulder 50, the distance in the vertical direction between the shoulder 50 and the support surface 53 being the same as the corresponding distance between the shoulder 40 and the upwardly facing support surface 43 of the intermediate ring 12 outwardly facing peripheral surface of the collar 52 is a plurality of ribs or teeth 55 which each extend in the vertical direction and are distributed at regular intervals over the entire circumference of the collar 52.
The number and the shape of the ribs or teeth 55 are selected such that the latter can be pushed into the spaces between the ribs or teeth 45 of the intermediate ring 12 in a suitable manner.
The cover 14 has a conical circumferential surface 60, which is intended to rest on a corresponding conical seat surface 61 of the top ring 13, so that the top side 62 of the cover 14 is practically in the same plane as the top side 63 of the top ring 13.
The described parts 11 to 14 are put together for their use as follows: The intermediate ring 12 is placed on the base ring 11 so that the downwardly projecting peripheral collar 32 of the intermediate ring comes to rest coaxially in the upwardly projecting peripheral collar 22 of the base ring and at the same time the Ribs or teeth 35 on the outer peripheral surface of the collar 32 of the intermediate ring 12 engage between the ribs or teeth 25 on the inner peripheral surface of the collar 22 of the base ring 11.
The downward-facing shoulder 30 of the intermediate ring 12 then sits on the support surface 23 on the peripheral collar 22 of the base ring 11, while at the same time the downward-facing support surface 33 on the collar 32 of the intermediate ring sits on the shoulder 20 of the base ring. In an analogous manner, the upper ring 13 is placed on the intermediate ring 12 in such a way that the downwardly projecting peripheral collar 52 of the upper ring comes to rest coaxially in the upwardly projecting peripheral collar 42 of the intermediate ring and at the same time the ribs or teeth 55 on the outer peripheral surface of the collar 52 of the top ring engage between the ribs or teeth 45 on the inner peripheral surface of the collar 42 of the intermediate ring.
The shoulder 50 of the top ring sits on the upwardly facing support surface 43 on the peripheral collar 42 of the intermediate ring 12, while at the same time the downwardly facing support surface 53 on the collar 52 of the top ring sits on the shoulder 40 of the intermediate ring. The cover 14 is placed coaxially on the top ring 13.
So that water, which may penetrate from the outside through the joint between the upper ring 13 and the intermediate ring 12, can flow away, some radially extending channels 65 are arranged on the intermediate ring. In an analogous manner, some radially running channels 66 are incorporated into the upper ring 13, which channels allow the drainage of water that may penetrate through the joint between the cover 14 and the upper ring 13. The base ring 11 is provided adjacent to its underside 16 with some radially extending recesses 67 which allow the attachment of an aid for lifting or rotating the entire upper shaft part described.
From the above description it can be seen that the intermediate ring 12 can be placed on the base ring 11 in different, specific rotational positions, with a different vertical dimension of the entire upper part of the manhole resulting depending on the selected rotational position of the two named rings with respect to one another. In the illustration according to FIG. 1, the vertical dimension of the upper shaft part is set to the minimum. The vertically and radially running flanks 21 and 34 on the base ring 11 and on the intermediate ring 12 then run directly next to one another. In FIG. 5, on the other hand, the base ring 11 and the intermediate ring 12 have a different rotational position in relation to one another, so that the upper part of the shaft has a larger overall height dimension than in FIG. 1.
It is clear that by lifting the intermediate ring 13 from the base ring, rotating the intermediate ring and placing it again on the base ring, the height of the top 63 of the top ring 13 can be changed in relatively fine steps, in order to adapt to the level of a walkable and / or drivable Surface of the environment.
In an analogous manner, it is possible to place the top ring 13 in various specific rotational positions on the intermediate ring 12, with one because of the inclined arrangement of the shoulders and seat surfaces 40 and 53 or 50 and 43 depending on the selected rotational position of the two rings mentioned in relation to one another other inclination of the top side 63 of the top ring relative to the horizontal results. In Fig. 1, the top of the top ring 13, and thus of the cover 14, has a horizontal position. The other extreme is illustrated in FIG. 6, according to which the upper ring 13 assumes a position offset by 1800. Between the two extremes according to FIG. 1 and FIG. 6, numerous different inclinations can be set in relatively fine gradations.
By rotating the entire upper part of the shaft in relation to the vertical shaft 17, the line of fall of the top of the top ring 13 and the cover 14 can be adjusted in any direction. It is thus possible to adapt the inclined position of the upper ring and the cover exactly to the inclined position of the surface of the surroundings that can be walked on and / or driven on.
For example, it should be said that with an outer diameter of the rings 11, 12 and 13 of 70 cm, the height dimension of the entire upper part of the shaft can be changed between 35 and 45 cm and the top of the upper ring 13 and the cover 14 can be adjusted between 0 and 10 relative to the horizontal can be.
In an embodiment variant not shown, the downwardly protruding circumferential collars 32 and 52 of the intermediate piece 12 and the upper ring 13 can be dimensioned somewhat shorter in the vertical direction so that they do not sit on the shoulders 20 and 40 of the base ring 11 and the intermediate ring 12. In this case, the shoulders mentioned can also be omitted.
Conversely, an embodiment variant is possible in which the upwardly projecting peripheral collars 22 and 42 of the base ring 11 and the intermediate ring 12 are shorter in the vertical direction, so that the shoulders 30 and 40 of the intermediate ring 12 and the upper ring 13 do not rest on the aforementioned peripheral collar 22 and 42 sit up.
The helical sections 20a, 20b ..., 23a, 23b ....
30a, 30b ... and 33a, 33b ... can extend over 1/3 or 1 /, or 1/6 of the ring circumference instead of 1/4 of the ring circumference. Instead of uniformly rising shoulders and support surfaces 20, 23, 30 and 33, shoulders and support surfaces rising in the form of steps may optionally also be present, but the steps are again arranged along helical sections.
The number of steps is then expediently equal to the number of ribs or teeth 25 and 35 within a single helical section.
7 shows a further embodiment of a shaft upper part with the features according to the invention, the same reference numbers being used as in FIGS. 1 and 2, insofar as the designation of functionally identical elements is concerned.
The base ring 11 has an inwardly projecting shoulder rib to form an upwardly facing support surface 20 for the intermediate ring 12. The shoulder rib 20 extends in the circumferential direction of the base ring 11 along helical sections 20a, 20b and 20c, which each extend over 1200, i.e. H. 1/3 of the circumference of the base ring and they are all the same. The transition from the highest point of a helical section to the lowest point of the next following helical section takes place in an abrupt step over a flank 21. A circumferential collar 22 protrudes approximately vertically upward from the support surface 20 and radically outside it.
In contrast to the first exemplary embodiment, the upper end of the circumferential collar 22 does not form a second support surface for the intermediate ring 12, and there are no teeth on the inner surface of the circumferential collar 22.
The intermediate ring 12 has a downwardly protruding peripheral collar 32, the diameter of which is smaller than that of the peripheral collar 22 of the base ring 11, so that the peripheral collar 32 of the intermediate ring 12 can be pushed coaxially into the peripheral collar 22 of the base ring 11. At the free end of the circumferential collar 32, a downwardly facing support surface 33 is formed, which is intended to rest on the support surface 20 of the base ring 11. The support surface 33 again runs along helical sections 33a, 33b, 33c, which each extend over 1/3 of the circumference of the collar 32 and have the same slope as the helical sections 22a, 22b, 22c of the support surface 20 on the base ring 11 The transition from the highest point of a helical section, e.g.
B. 33a, to the lowest point of the next following helical section, e.g. B. 3 3b, takes place in an abrupt step over a flank 34.
In contrast to the first exemplary embodiment, there are no teeth on the outside of the circumferential collar 32.
To secure the respectively desired rotational position of the intermediate ring 12 in relation to the base ring 11, several set screws 70 are provided, which are seated in radially continuous threaded bores in the circumferential collar 32 of the intermediate ring 12. The inner end of each set screw 70 has a head 71 which enables the set screw to be turned. The outer end of each set screw 70 is intended to cooperate with the inner surface of the peripheral collar 22 of the base ring 11 when the set screw is screwed outwards.
In contrast to the first exemplary embodiment, an upwardly facing support surface 43 for supporting the upper ring 13 is formed on an annular insert piece 73 which is inserted into a groove 74 of the intermediate ring 12.
As in the first example, the support surface 43 runs in a plane which is inclined to the horizontal by a small angle of, for example, 2 ". The insert 73 is expediently made of a plastic, while the intermediate ring 12, as well as the base ring 11, of iron or Made of steel.
An annular insert 75 is arranged on the underside of the upper ring 13 and is inserted into a groove 76 of the upper ring 13 and has a downward-facing support surface 50 for resting on the upward-facing support surface 43 on the intermediate ring 12. The support surface 50 runs in a plane which has the same inclination as the plane in which the support surface 43 is arranged. The insert 75 expediently consists of a plastic, while the top ring 13 is made of iron or steel. A circumferential collar 52 of the top ring 13 protrudes downward from the support surface 50 and is arranged radially outside the support surface 50, so that the circumferential collar 52 overlaps the intermediate ring 12 in the axial direction when the top ring 13 is placed on the intermediate ring 12 by means of the support surfaces 43 and 50 is.
In contrast to the first exemplary embodiment, there are no teeth on the circumferential collar 52.
The cover 14 has a downwardly facing circumferential shoulder 77 which is intended to rest on an inwardly directed circumferential flange 78 of the upper ring 13.
An annular insert 79 made of neoprene or the like is expediently inserted into a groove in the upper side of the flange 78 in order to prevent the lid 14 from wobbling and rattling when it is driven on. In addition, the cover 14 and the top ring 13 are adapted to one another in such a way that the top side 62 of the cover is practically in the same plane as the top edge 63 of the top ring 13 when the cover is inserted into the top ring.
The use and operation of the upper shaft part described with reference to FIG. 7 is basically the same as that of the first exemplary embodiment. The intermediate ring 12 is placed with its downwardly facing support surface 33 on the support surface 20 of the base ring 11, the circumferential collar 22 of the base ring 11 overlapping the intermediate ring 12 on the outside in the axial direction. By rotating the intermediate ring 12 in relation to the base ring 11, the height of the intermediate ring can be changed and adapted to the respective requirements. When the desired rotational position has been set, the intermediate ring 12 is secured on the base ring 11 by tightening the adjusting screws 70.
The top ring 13 is placed on the intermediate ring 12, the downwardly facing support surface 50 of the insert 75 on the top ring being placed on the support surface 43 of the insert 73 on the intermediate ring and the circumferential collar 52 of the top ring 13 overlapping the intermediate ring 12 on the outside in the axial direction. Since each of the support surfaces 43 and 50 is inclined by a few angular degrees, the upper edge 63 of the upper ring 13 can by rotating the latter in relation to the intermediate ring 12, or more precisely, the one annular insert 75 in relation to the other insert 73, optionally set in a position parallel or more or less inclined to the lower edge 16 of the base ring.
This makes it possible to adapt the upper edge 63 of the upper ring 13 and thus the upper side 62 of the cover 14 both in height and in inclination to the surrounding road or square surface. It is not necessary to secure the rotational position of the upper ring 13 with respect to the intermediate ring 12.
The main advantage of the embodiment according to FIG. 7 over the first example according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is that a continuous change in the rotational positions of the intermediate ring 12 with respect to the base ring 11 or
of the upper ring 13 is possible with respect to the intermediate ring, and that the rings 12 and 13 do not have to be raised and lowered again to change the stated rotational positions in order to bring teeth out of or into engagement.
