Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Herstellen von Tuben mit geschweissten Nähten, wobei der Tubenkörper aus einer Kunststoff aufweisenden Folie besteht.



   Es sind bereits Verfahren und Vorrichtungen für die induktive Verschweissung von verschiedenerlei Gebilden aus Kunststoffolien und Metallfolien mit Kunststoffüberzug bekannt.



   Hierbei werden z.B. zwischen den beiden Enden der zu verschweissenden Kunststoffschichten Metallbänder gelegt, in denen die zur Verschweissung notwendige Indutkionswärme erzeugt wird.



   In einem anderen Beispiel werden Metallfolien mit beidseitigem Kunststoffbelag mittels Induktionsschweissen miteinander verbunden.



   Bei diesem Verfahren werden die zu verschweissenden Kanten zwischen zwei Schweissbacken gelegt, in denen Elektroden als eine sich über die ganze Länge der Schweissnaht erstreckende Induktionsschleife angeordnet sind, die in dem zwischen den Kunststoffschichten liegenden Metall die erforderliche Schweisswärme erzeugen.



   In diesen Vorrichtungen sind keinerlei Kühleinrichtungen oder Wärme ableitende Elemente vorgesehen, so dass sich ein Induktionsverschweissen dieser Art nur für verhältnismässig dicke Kunststoffschichten eignet. Für sehr dünne Kunststoffschichten wirkt die Wärmeeinwirkung an der Schweissnaht und in deren benachbartem Bereich zerstörend, zumindest würde die Kunststoffschicht sich verfärben und Blasen bilden. Verringert man die Temperaturen. so wird kein echtes Verschweissen mehr erreicht sondern nur noch eine Versiegelung, die für viele Verbindungen nicht ausreichend haltbar ist.



   Es ist also im Rahmen der Erfindung von grundlegender Bedeutung, dass ein echtes, dauerhaftes und festes Verschweissen der Tubenteile bei einem Tubenkörper erreicht wird, der eine Metallschicht enthält.



   Die Lösung der Aufgabe wird gemäss dem erfindungsgemässen Verfahren dadurch erreicht, dass der Tubenkörper aus einer dünnwandigen, eine Metallschicht zwischen Kunststoffschichten aufweisenden Verbundfolie gebildet wird, und dass die den Tubenkörper aus der Verbundfolie herstellende und die den Tubenkörper mit dem Kopfstück verbindenden Schweissnähte durch Induktionsschweissen, das heisst durch induktives Erzeugen der für das Verschweissen notwendigen Wärme in der Metallschicht des Tubenkörpers erzeugt werden, und dass die den Schweissstellen unmittelbar benachbarten Bereiche des Tubenkörpers während des Schweissvorgangs gekühlt werden.



   Die Vorrichtung zur Ausführung des erfindungsgemässen Verfahrens ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine der jeweiligen Schweissstelle angepasste Induktionsspule und ein den Tubenkörper in wärmeübertragender Berührung tragendes Element vorgesehen sind, wobei das den Tubenkörper tragende Element eine hohe Wärmeleitfähigkeit und eine hohe Wärmekapazität aufweist.



   Für das Herstellen der Tuben wird das Induktionsschweissverfahren verwendet, nach welchem in der Me   tallschicht    des Tubenkörpers die für den Schweissvorgang notwendige Wärme erzeugt wird, und eine Vorrichtung eignet sich, welche die Wärme nur in der Schweisszone entstehen lässt und ein Abfliessen in den Tubenkörper verhindert bzw. begrenzt. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass eine den jeweiligen Schweissstellen angepasste Induktionsschlaufe, die zum Beispiel in Kunststoff oder ein anderes nicht leitendes Material eingebettet sein kann, und ein den Tubenkörper in wärmeübertragender Berührung tragendes Element vorgesehen sind, wobei das den Tubenkörper tragende Element hohe Wärmeleitfähigkeit und hohe Wärmekapazität aufweist. Das Abfliessen der Wärme über die Schweisszone hinaus in den Tubenkörper wird dadurch verhindert.

  Auf diese Weise kann ein schonendes aber trotzdem sicheres Verschweissen der Tubenteile erfolgen. Durch die hohe Wärmeleitfähigkeit kombiniert mit der hohen Wärmekapazität des den Tubenkörper tragenden Elements wird die zum Verschweissen notwendige Hitze auf der gesamten Verbindungsfläche wirksam aber sofort am Rand dieser Verbindungsfläche von dem den Tubenkörper tragenden Element abgenommen und abtransportiert, so dass schon in unmittelbarer Nähe der Schweissfläche am Tubenkörper keine Verbrennungserscheinungen auftreten können.  



   Dieses Grundprinzip ist bei allen Schweisseinrichtungen der Herstellungsvorrichtung eingehalten. So kann beispielsweise die Einrichtung zum Verschweissen des   Tubenkopfs    mit dem Tubenkörper eine axial zum Tubenkörper um diesen herumlaufende Induktionsspule.



  einen das Kopfstück auf den Tubenkörper pressenden Druckstempel und einen den Tubenkörper tragenden   Dom    enthalten, wobei der Dorn aus Metall, vorzugsweise   Aluminium,    besteht und an seinem einen Ende einen der Tubenschulter und dem Nippel entsprechenden Kopf aus Polytetrafluoräthylen trägt, wobei die Metalloberfläche des Dorns bis an die Grundkante der Tubenschulter reicht. Auf diese Weise wird sichergestellt, dass die Temperatur in dem zu verschweissenden Flächenbereich verhältnismässig hoch wird, um ein sicheres Verschweissen des Tubenkörpers mit dem Tubenkopf zu erreichen, während in unmittelbarer Nähe, d.h. an der Grundkante der Tubenschulter, bereits so viel Wärme abtransportiert wird, dass keine Verbrennungserscheinungen an dem Material des Tubenkörpers auftreten.



   Für die Herstellung von Tuben aus einem Folienzuschnitt   kann    die Vorrichtung eine sich über die Länge des   Tubenkörpers    erstreckende Induktionsschleife, einen sich ebenfalls über die gesamte Länge des Tubenkörpers   erstreckenden    Druckstempel und einen mit dem Folienzuschnitt zu   umwiclvelnden    Dorn enthalten, wobei der Dorn aus gut wärmeleitendem Material besteht und eine grosse Wärmekapazität aufweist und an einer Seite eine sich axial erstreckende flache Nut zur Aufnahme des in der inneren Zuschnittkante nach aussen umgelegten Falzes aufweist. Hierdurch wird erreicht, dass auch im Bereich der Längsnaht einer solchen Tube ein sicheres, festes Verschweissen eintritt aber trotzdem keine Verbrennungserscheinungen in und am Rand der Schweissnaht vorkommen.



   Soll bei der Herstellung der Tube das dem Tubenkopf entgegengesetzte Ende des Tubenkörpers mit einer Quernaht geschlossen werden, so kann die Vorrichtung eine sich über die gesamte Breite der Tube erstreckende Induktionsschleife, einen sich ebenfalls über die gesamte Tubenbreite erstreckenden Druckstempel und ein Druckwiderlager enthalten, wobei das Druckwiderlager wiederum aus gut wärmeleitendem Material, beispielsweise Aluminium, besteht und grosse Wärmekapazität aufweist.



   Einige Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung werden im folgenden anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Es zeigen:
Fig. 1   schematisch    eine Einrichtung zum Herstellen eines Tubenkörpers aus einem Folienzuschnitt;
Fig. 2 schematisch eine Einrichtung zum Befestigen des Tubenkopfs auf dem Tubenkörper vor dem Zusammenführen;
Fig. 3 die Vorrichtung nach Fig. 2 nach dem Zusammenführen;    Fig. 4    eine Einrichtung zum   Zuschweissen    des Tubenbodens und
Fig. 5 eine abgewandelte Einrichtung zum Zuschweissen des Tubenbodens.



   Für die Herstellung einer Tube kann ein rohrförmiger Tubenkörper 1 auf einem   Rohrziehgerät    gezogen werden.



  Es kann auch ein Schlauch oder Rohr mit einer Ringdüse mehrschichtig aus Kunststoff gespritzt werden. Fig. 1 zeigt ein Herstellungsbeispiel, bei welchem der Tubenkörper 1 aus einem Folienzuschnitt über einen Dorn 21 gewickelt wird. Der Folienzuschnitt besteht aus einer Verbundfolie, beispielsweise einer auf beiden Seiten mit Kunststoff wie Polyäthylen oder Polypropylen oder dgl.



  beschichteten Aluminiumfolie. Der Folienzuschnitt wird zunächst an einer Längsseite zu einem schmalen Falz 22 nach aussen umgelegt und mit dieser gefalzten   Längskan-    te in eine flache Längsnut des Dorns 21 eingelegt. Dann wird der Zuschnitt fest um den Dorn herumgewickelt und mit der zweiten Längskante über den Falz 22 gelegt.



  Das Einlegen des mit Falz 22 versehenen Zuschnittrandes in die flache Längsnut 23 ist von besonderer Wichtigkeit, weil dadurch der Tubenzuschnitt am gesamten Umfang des Dorns fest angezogen werden kann und dadurch an jeder Stelle gute wärmeleitende Berührung mit der Ober   bleche    des Dorns 21 hat, um die beim   Schweissen    auftretende Wärme sicher auf den Dorn 21 abführen zu können. Dazu ist der Dorn 21 aus gut wärmeleitendem Material, beispielsweise Aluminium, hergestellt, das eine verhältnismässig grosse Wärmekapazität aufweist, so dass die an der Schweissnaht erzeugte Wärme nicht auf das Folienmaterial des Tubenkörpers abgeleitet wird.



  Auf diese Weise werden jegliche Verbrennungen des Folienmaterials beim Schweissvorgang vermieden. Die   Schweisselektrode    ist im dargestellten Beispiel in Form einer sich über die gesamte Länge des Tubenkörpers   l    erstreckende   Induktionsschleife    24 ausgebildet, die zur Kühlung mit Wasser hohl ausgebildet ist. Diese Schleife 24 ist, wie in Fig. 1 angedeutet, in einen Keramikkörper 25 eingesetzt, der zugleich als Andrückstempel dient, um die zusammenzuschweissenden Flächenbereiche der Längsnaht fest aufeinanderzudrücken, wenn dieser Stempel 25 gegen den Dorn 21 (oder umgekehrt) gedrückt wird. Der Stempel 25 kann auch aus hitzebeständigem Kunststoff, beispielsweise Tetrafluoräthylen, bestehen.



   Zum Befestigen des Tubenkopfs hat der Dorn 21, wie die Fig. 2 und 3 zeigen, an einem Ende einen stirnseitig aufgesetzten Kopf 26 aus nicht leitendem Material, beispielsweise Polytetrafluoräthylen. Dieser Kopf   26    endet jedoch unmittelbar an der inneren Schulterumfangskante 27, so dass der aus Verbund-Folie oder -Schlauch gebildete Tubenkörper 1 bis an diese Schulterumfangskante 27 in unmittelbarer Berührung mit dem gut   wälaneleitenden    Material des Dorns 21 liegt. Auf den stirnseitigen Kopf 26 wird nach Fig 2 ein   Tubenkopfteil    2 aufgesetzt. Sodann wird der auf dem Dorn liegende Tubenkörper 1 um eine Länge 6 über die Schulterumfangskante 27 vorgeschoben und entsprechend den   Pfei-    len 28 auf die Aussenfläche der Schulterplatte 5 des Kopfteils 2 eingelegt.

  Sodann wird der in Form eines konischen Rings vorgebildete zusätzliche Schulterteil 3 im Sinne des Pfeils 29 auf das Tubenkopfstück 2 und den eingelegten Randbereich 6 des Tubenkörpers 1 gesetzt.

 

  Nachdem so die einzelnen Teile zusammengefügt sind, wird der Pressstempel 30 im Sinne des Pfeils 31 mit dem Dorn 21 und den auf diesem vereinigten Tubenteilen zusammengeführt. Der Pressstempel 30 enthält im dargestellten Beispiel eine Induktionsschleife 32, die, sobald sie unter Strom gesetzt wird, die Schulterplatte 5 des Tubenkopfs, den eingelegten Randbereich 6 des Tubenkörpers 1 und den zusätzlichen Schulterteil 3 erhitzt und unter dem Druck des Stempels 30 fest und flächenmässig miteinander verschweisst.

 

   Der Pressstempel 30 kann wiederum aus keramischem Material oder hitzebeständigem Kunststoff bestehen. Es ist auch möglich, die Induktionsspule 32 getrennt von dem Pressstempel 30 oberhalb einer Führungsbahn für den Dorn 21 anzuordnen, so dass die zusammengesetzten Tubenteile auf dem Dorn 21 mit aufgesetztem   Pressstempel 30 durch das Induktionsfeld bewegt werden, während die Induktionsspule selbst feststeht. 

Claims (1)

  1. PATENTANSPRÜCHE
    I. Verfahren zum Herstellen von Tuben mit geschweissten Nähten, wobei der Tubenkörper aus einer Kunststoff aufweisenden Folie besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Tubenkörper aus einer dünnwandigen, eine Metallschicht zwischen Kunststoffschichten aufweisenden Verbundstoffe gebildet wird, und dass die den Tubenkörper aus der Verbundfolie herstellende und die den Tubenkörper mit dem Kopfstück verbindenden Schweissnähte durch Induktionsschweissen, das heisst durch induktives Erzeugen der für das Verschweissen notwendigen Wärme in der Metallschicht des Tubenkörpers erzeugt werden, und dass die den Schweissstellen unmittelbar benachbarten Bereiche des Tubenkörpers während des Schweissvorgangs gekühlt werden.
    II. Vorrichtung zur Ausführung des Verfahrens nach Patentanspruch I, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine der jeweiligen Schweissstelle angepasste Induktionsspule (24; 23; 33) und ein den Tubenkörper (1) in wärmeübertragender Berührung tragendes Element (21, 35) vorgesehen sind, wobei das den Tubenkörper (1) tragende Element (21, 35) eine hohe Wärmeleitfähigkeit und eine hohe Wärmekapazität aufweist.
    UNTERANSPRÜCHE 1. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch I zum Herstellen von Tuben, deren Tubenkörper durch Zusammenschweissen einer dünnwandigen, eine Metallschicht enthaltenden Verbundfolie hergestellt ist, und eines vorgefertigten, eine Schulter aufweisenden Kopfstücks, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schulter des Kopfstücks durch Induktionsschweissen flächenmässig mit einem ringförmigen Bereich des Tubenkörpers verbunden und der sich an den Umfangsrand der Kopfstückschulter anschliessende benachbarte Bereich des Tubenkörpers während des Schweissvorgangs gekühlt wird.
    2. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch I oder Unteranspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Tubenkörper aus einem beidseitig mit Kunststoff belegten Metallfolienzuschnitt über einem Dorn geformt und auf diesem Dorn durch Induktionsschweissen und Kühlen in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft der Schweissstelle mit einer Längsnaht versehen wird.
    3. Verfahren nach Unteranspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Folienzuschnitt entlang einer Längskante zu einem schmalen Falz umgelegt, anschliessend mit diesem Falz nach aussen über den Dorn gewickelt und mit der glatten Kante über den umgelegten Falz gelegt und entlang dieses Falzes zusammengeschweisst wird.
    4. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch I und einem der Unteransprüche 2 und 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Tubenkörper an dem dem Kopfstück entgegengesetzten Ende durch Induktionsschweissen und Kühlen in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft der Schweissstelle mit einer Quernaht verschlossen wird.
    5. Verfahren nach Unteranspruch 2 und 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Ende der Längsschweissnaht etwa in der Mitte der Quernaht angeordnet wird.
    6. Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch II, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Einrichtung zum Verschweissen des Tubenkopfs (2. 9, 13, 17) mit dem Tubenkörper (1) eine axial zum Tubenkörper (1) um diesen herumlaufende Induktionsspule (32), einen das Kopfstück (2, 9, 13, 17) auf den Tubenkörper (1) pressenden Druckstempel (30) und einen den Tubenkörper tragenden Dorn (21) enthält, wobei der Dorn (21) aus Metall, vorzugsweise Aluminium, besteht und an seinem einen Ende einen der Tubenschulter und dem Nippel entsprechenden Kopf (26) aus Polytetrafluoräthylen trägt, wobei die Metalloberfläche des Dorns (21) bis an die Grundkante (27) der Tubenschulter reicht.
    7. Vorrichtung nach Unteranspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Induktionsspule (32) axial über den Dorn (21) bewegbar angebracht ist.
    8. Vorrichtung nach Unteranspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Induktionsspule feststehend und der Dorn (21) in für den Verschweissvorgang geeignetem Abstand an der Induktionsspule vorbei bewegbahr geführt ist.
    9. Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch II, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine sich über die Länge des Tubenkörpers (1) erstreckende Induktionsschleife (24), ein sich ebenfalls über die gesamte Länge des Tubenkörpers (1) erstreckender Druckstempel (25) und ein mit dem Folienschnitt zu umwickelnder Dorn (21) vorgesehen sind, wobei der Dorn aus gut wärmeleitendem Material besteht, das eine grosse Wärmekapazität aufweist und dass der Dorn an seiner Seite eine sich axial erstreckende flache Nut (23) zur Aufnahme des an der inneren Zuschnittkante nach aussen umgelegten Falzes (22) aufweist.
    10. Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch II für die Ver ehweissung von Tuben, die an dem dem Tubenkopf entgegengesetzten Ende des Tubenkörpers mit einer Quernaht geschlossen sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine sich über die gesamte Breite des Tubenkörpers (1) erstreckende Induktionsschleife (33), ein sich ebenfalls über die gesamte Tubenbreite erstreckender Druckstempel (34) und ein Druckwiderlager (35, 37) vorgesehen sind, wobei das Druckwiderlager aus einem gut wärmeleitenden Material, beispielsweise Aluminium, besteht und eine grosse Wärmekapazität aufweist.
    11. Vorrichtung nach Unteranspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Druckwiderlager (35, 37) mit einer wärmeleitfähigen, nachgiebigen Schicht (36, 38) belegt ist.
    12. Vorrichtung nach Unteranspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Folie (39) guter elektrischer Leitfähigkeit und guter Wärmeleitfähigkeit, beispielsweise eine Kupferfolie, zwischen dem Tubenkörper (1) und der nachgiebigen Schicht (38) des Druckwiderlagers (37) angeordnet ist.
    13. Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch II und den Unteransprüchen 6 bis 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Induktionsschleife (24, 32, 33) direkt in den Druckstempel (25, 30, 34), gegebenenfalls für direkte Berührung mit dem Tubenkörper (1), eingelegt ist.
