Household Self-Ejecting Juice Centrifuge The invention relates to a household self-ejecting juice centrifuge.
The rotation of the centrifuge basket, in which the friction disc with the filler neck is located, produces a strong radial air flow. On the one hand, this is desirable in order to entrain the juice, but it has problems with self-ejecting juice centrifuges, as airflow and turbulence undesirably influence the path of the pomace. It has been shown that a certain diversion and discharge of the air flow is advantageous.
This is achieved according to the invention in that the juice catching space is double-walled, with both a connection between the wall cavity and the juice injection space. and from the wall cavity to the outside, but in such a way that no juice can escape through the latter connection.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows: FIG. 1 a cross section through a juice centrifuge without a lid and FIG. 2 a plan view.
The centrifuge basket 1 has the friction disk 2 in its interior and is supported on a rubber ring 4 at the upper edge of the housing wall 3 so that it can slide. The rubber ring serves as a seal. The housing wall 3 is double-walled so that a cavity 5 is located in its interior.
The Ge housing 3 is supported on the juice collecting bowl 6, in such a way that the housing inner wall 3b with the shell forms an annular gap 7 under which the juice can flow, while the outer wall 3a forms a closure with the edge of the bowl, which by individual Openings 8 is interrupted. No juice can escape through the openings 8.
The centrifugal force generated during the rotation of the centrifuge basket results in a radial air flow through the basket 1 as indicated by the arrows. The juice also passes through the perforated basket 1 and collects in the bowl 6. Overpressure arises in the space 9, which now propagates into the cavity 5 and which is deprived of its effectiveness by the air flowing out through the openings 8 .
As a result, only a small amount of air escapes from the spout 10, and the harmful back pressure through the centrifuge basket into space 11 is completely eliminated.
The openings 8 can be designed as bores in the outer wall. Both double walls can also be provided with bores, but these must not be aligned, otherwise the juice will squirt out.
