16 her angetrieben.
Hay machine with several calculating wheels
The invention relates to a hay machine with a frame lying transversely to the direction of travel, on which a number of calculating wheels are arranged, which are driven by the power take-off shaft of a tractor and are rigidly mounted with their axes in the frame.
Known hay machines of this type have a complicated frame with unsatisfactory support for the rake wheels. The drive of the computing wheels is insufficiently protected against dirt and hay winding and is designed in such a way that it impairs the view of the work of the machine and is also dangerous for the operating personnel.
The invention is based on the object of eliminating these disadvantages and of creating a calculating wheel hay machine with a simple, solid frame structure, good ground contouring and an operationally safe and space-saving drive between the tractor PTO shaft and the calculating wheels.
According to the invention, this takes place in that the frame has a drive box arranged in the middle of the frame, to which hollow frame beams running transversely to the direction of travel are attached on both sides, with a calculating wheel and a running wheel each being arranged at both outer ends of these hollow frame beams, and the Drive of these calculating wheels is guided from the drive box through the interior of the hollow frame beam.
The design of the hay machine according to the invention allows the following advantages to be achieved: a) The hay thrown up by the rake wheels does not wrap around the drive running transversely to the direction of travel. b) Due to the hollow frame beams protruding on both sides from the drive box, a rigid frame can be created for the calculating wheels that are rigidly mounted in the frame and for the arrangement of the running wheels in that the drive box is an essential component of the frame, which is in the center of the frame through its larger size gives the frame a solid structure.
c) The drive from the power take-off shaft of the tractor can easily engage directly in the center of the frame, so that good cornering is possible with an attached machine. d) The result is a relatively simple and inexpensive machine with a self-supporting construction, which at the same time forms drive protection and main frame, and which, thanks to the support at both ends, ensures that the rake wheels follow the ground well. e) The frame and the drive require relatively little space in the machine structure, so that the tines of the rake wheels can pass the drive with more play.
ss The structure of the machine can be designed elegantly. Other agricultural machines are known, some of which have a frame construction through which the drive is guided. However, none of these machines is driving calculating wheels from a drive box, and another non-calculating wheel machine has the drive box located on one side of the machine in such a way that it cannot form an essential part of the frame structure.
The invention is explained in more detail using an advantageous exemplary embodiment of a machine for laterally displacing crops lying on the ground
Fig. 1 shows a plan view of a device according to the invention.
FIG. 2 shows a rear view of the device according to FIG. 1, with the wheels 14 and 15 removed.
FIG. 3 shows a section along the line III-III in FIG. 2.
FIG. 4 shows a section along the line IV-IV in FIG. 2.
According to the figures, the device has a frame 1 which has a drive box 2 to which four hollow frame beams 3, 4, 5 and 6 are attached. The frame beams 3 and 4, which are superimposed on one another, extend on one side of the drive box 2, while the frame beams 5 and 6, which also overlap one another, extend on the other side of the drive box 2. A pulling arm 7 is also attached to the drive box 2 and is connected to the rear end of a tractor 8 which moves the device. The device is supported by two running wheels 9 and 10, which are connected to the frame beams 5 and 6 or 3 and 4 by parallelogram structures 11 and 12.
The frame is provided with three calculating wheels 13, 14 and 15, of which the calculating wheel 14 is arranged on an axis 16 which is mounted in the drive box 2, while the calculating wheels 13 and 15 are connected to the frame 1 by means of bearing structures 17 and 18 are. In the rear view of Figure 2, the Re chenräder 14 and 15 and a wall of the drive box 2 are omitted for clarity; here only the outlines of the calculating wheels 14 and 15 are indicated in dash-dotted lines.
When the device is moved by means of the tractor 8, the rake wheels 13, 14 and 15 are driven by the tractor engine.
For this purpose, an axis 20 and a switch box 21, which is attached to the pulling arm 7, are provided between the branch axis 19 of the tractor 8 and the drive box 2 of the device. The number of revolutions of the axle 20 can be regulated by means of the lever 21A of the switch box 21. The axle 20 is mounted in a tube 20A, one end of which is fastened to the drive box 2 and the other end to the pulling arm 7 near the switch box 21. At the end 22 of the axle 20 (see Fig. 3), which is in the drive box 2, a sprocket 23 is attached, which by means of a chain 24, which is not shown in Fig. 3, drives the sprocket 25, which is on a on the axis 16 seated sleeve 26 is attached.
To tension the chain 24, a chain wheel 27 is provided, which can be displaced and locked in a slot 29 provided in the wall 28 of the drive box 2. The calculation wheels 13 and 15, which are on the axes 30 and 31 of the bearing structures
17 and 18 attached are off the axis
16 driven forward. For this purpose, two chain wheels 32 and 33 are mounted on the axis 16 and a chain wheel 34 on the axis 30 and a chain wheel 35 on the axis 31. The chain wheel 32 and the chain wheel 34 are connected to one another by means of a chain 36, the driving, that is to say the leading, strand of which lies in the frame beam 3 and the returning strand of which lies in the frame beam 4.
The chain wheel 33 and the chain wheel 35 are connected to one another by means of a chain 37, the driving section of which is located in the frame beam 6 and the returning section of which is located in the frame beam 5.
Of the bearing constructions 17 and 18, which are almost identical, the construction 18 is shown in FIG. According to this figure, the bearing structure 18 consists of a tube 38 on which a plate 39 is attached; this fastening is stiffened by means of a strut 40. The plate 39 is fastened by means of two bolts 41 and 42 on a plate 43 which connects the frame beams 5 and 6 to one another. The tube 38 is provided with bearings 44 and 45 in which the axle 31 is mounted, on which the calculating wheel 15 and the chain wheel 35 are arranged. Since the parts 46 and 47 are removed from the frame beams 5 and 6, the axis 31 can be attached between the frame beams 5 and 6, whereby both the leading and the returning strand of the chain 37 over the greatest possible length in the frame beams 5 and 6 come to rest.
The bolts 41 and 42 are guided through slots 48 and 49 which extend parallel to the frame beams 5 and 6, whereby the bearing construction 18 can be displaced in a direction parallel to the frame beams 5 and 6, so that the chain 37 can be easily moved Way can be stretched. The drive of the calculation wheels 13, 14 and 15 from the axis 16 is such that they rotate in a direction which corresponds to the direction of the arrow A indicated in the calculation wheel 13 in FIG.
In the working position according to FIG. 1, in which the calculating wheel 13 is mounted on the front of the axle 30 and the calculating wheel 15 on the rear side of the axle 31, the device is effective as a side rake, the calculating wheel 13 removing the crop to the calculating wheel 14 , which it transported to the calculating wheel 15, which it discharges again laterally in the form of a swath. In order to increase the pressure of the calculating wheels 13, 14 and 15, which are connected to tines 50 (in Fig.
1 for the calculating wheel 13) are provided, to be able to adjust to the floor, the height of the frame 1 with the calculating wheels can be adjusted with respect to the floor in that the running wheels 9 and 10, of which the running wheel 9 is in front and the running wheel 10 is arranged behind the computing wheels, by means of the parallelogram structures 11 and 12 in the vertical direction relative to the frame 1 are pushed ver.
The parallelograms 11 and 12 are of identical design and are shown in more detail at 11 (FIGS. 1 and 2). The frame beam 5 is provided with an axle 51 and the frame beam 6 with an axle 52. The axle 51 is connected to the upper end of a bearing 55 by arms 53 and 54 and the axle 52 is connected to the lower end of the bearing 55 by arms 56 and 57. A vertical axis 58 is mounted in the bearing 55 and is connected to the horizontal shaft 59 of the impeller 9. The vertical axis 58 can be secured against rotation in the bearing 55, since an extension piece 60 is attached to the axis 58 with a strip 61 which runs parallel at a distance and is provided with holes 62 and 63; In addition, the bearing 55 has a segment-shaped plate 64 which is provided with holes 65.
When a locking pin 66 is passed through the hole 63, one of the holes 65 and the hole 62, the axle 58 is secured against rotation in the bearing 55. A screw spindle 67 is provided in order to prevent the parallelograms 11 and 12 from rotating about axes which lie between the levers 53,54,56 and 57 and to which the axes 51,52 and 55 are assigned. This screw spindle 67 has a block 68 which is attached between the plates 53 and 54. The actual screw spindle 69 is mounted in the block 68 in such a way that it cannot move in the block 68, but can only rotate. This screw spindle 67 also has a fork 70 which is provided at the upper end with a block 71 in which a hole 72 is provided which has a screw thread.
The lower end of the screw spindle 69, which is also provided with screw thread, is passed through the hole 72. The lower end of the fork 70 is connected to a web 73 which is attached to the axle 52. Since the distance between the block 68 and the web 73 is fixed in this way, the parallelogram construction 11 cannot rotate unintentionally about its axes.
To adjust the frame 1 relative to the floor, the distance between the block 68 and the web 73 can be changed by turning the screw spindle 69. If the distance between the block 68 and the web 73 is reduced, the distance between the frame 1 and the floor increases; on the other hand, if the distance between the block 68 and the web 73 is increased, the distance between the frame 1 and the floor becomes smaller, whereby the pressure of the calculating wheels on the floor is greater.
While the axes 51 and 52 of the parallelogram construction 11 are attached to the ends of the frame beams 5 and 6, in order to mount the running wheel 9 at such a distance from the rake wheels 14 and 15 that the crop can easily pass between this running wheel and these rake wheels, the corresponding axes of the parallelogram 12 are attached at a distance from the ends of the frame beams 3 and 4, so that the running wheel 10 is close to the axis 30.
When moving the device, in which the crop lying on the ground is processed, the drive parts of the rake wheels 13 and 15 are not hindered by any swirling dust or longer crop parts by means of the chains 36 and 37. The chains 36 and 37 are thus in front
Protected from dust and longer crops; the design of the device is relatively simple, especially since no shielding boxes are required, with a further advantage that the operation of the device is not hindered.
In order to be able to transfer the device into a second working position, the axle 30 is provided with a hole 74 at the rear end (FIG. 1), while the axle 31 is provided with a hole 75 at the front end. To move into the other working position, the calculating wheel 13 is removed from the axle 30 after the bolt 76 has been removed. The calculating wheel is then mounted on the front end of the axle 31 and secured thereon. For this purpose, the bolt 76 is inserted into the hole 75 again. In addition, the calculating wheel 15 is removed from the axle 31 after the bolt 77 has been removed, whereupon it is attached to the rear end of the axle 30 and fastened thereon by the bolt 77 being inserted into the hole 74.
In the second working position, in which the direction of rotation of the calculation wheels 13, 14 and 15 is the same as in the first working position, the calculation wheels 13,
14 and 15 each carry away the crop to the side, so that the crop from one rake wheel does not reach the area of another rake wheel and the device is thus effective as a turner.
Although the device according to this exemplary embodiment is designed as a device which is laterally displaced to the left, it will be evident that the device can be converted into a device which is laterally displaced to the right. For this purpose, the direction of rotation of the rake wheels must be changed as well as the position of the prongs 50, since these must also be directed backwards in this direction of rotation in the new direction of rotation of the rake wheel.
In order to make the device suitable for transport, the frame 1 with the rake wheels can be set so high above the ground by moving the parallelograms 11 and 12 that the rake wheels are completely free of the ground and the device is thus conveniently on the paths and the terrain can be promoted.
Although in this embodiment the calculating wheels 13 and 15 are driven from the axis 16 by chain transmission, it is easily possible to drive the calculating wheels also other flexible traction elements, eg. B. cord or belt transmission, the chain wheels 32, 33, 34 and 35 being replaced by cord or belt pulleys and the chains 36 and 37 by cords or belts.
