Motorcycle with a cast frame The invention is based on the object of providing a motorcycle with a cast, for example, from light metal or synthetic resin Ge, which has a saddle support branching off at an acute angle from the main rack, and consists in that the lower cast core opening of the as a hollow flat body formed, cast in the mold frame is designed such that the motor-gearbox block can be flanged to this opening and the wind can flow through the lower frame part for the purpose of cooling the motor. In this way, the following essential union advantages are achieved: The strength of the hollow frame is guaranteed and the engine is well cooled.
The seat post is expediently designed with its closed to the rear by the mudguard of the rear wheel as a gasoline tank accessible from above through the hinged seat and at the rear upper part as a luggage carrier. This design of the saddle support has the advantage that the fuel tank can be well protected and not visible from the outside and a special luggage rack is unnecessary.
On the seat post, the advantageously telescopic, resilient strut of the fork-shaped rear swing arm with a hollow body provided for receiving the chain on the chain side can be supported, which is expediently pivoted on the 3Zotor gear unit. In addition to being made of light metal, the frame can also be made of plastic, in particular synthetic resin, for example by injection molding. From the drawing an embodiment example of the invention can be seen.
Fig. 1 shows the frame (frame) in a longitudinal section with the flanged motor-transmission block.
Fig. 2 shows a cross section along the line A-B in Fig. 1 through the frame and the transmission block.
Fig. 3 illustrates the overall view of a wheel equipped with the frame motor.
The motorcycle frame consists of the main frame support 1 and the seat post 2, which is designed as a hollow body. The saddle 3 is attached to the cover 4 of the seat post 2 that can be opened backwards around the hinge 4 '. To form the fuel tank 5, the seat post 2 is closed down by a cast wall 6 which carries the fuel tap 7. The lid of the gasoline container is formed by a sheet metal 8 which is glued onto the cast projections 9 and 10 of the support 2 with a synthetic resin. The cover plate 8 has a filler neck 11 for the fuel tank 5.
The motor-gearbox block 12 is flanged to the lower cast core opening of the frame body and connected to it by means of the screw bolts 13 and 14. The arrows evident from FIGS. 1 and 3 indicate the direction of the airflow used to cool the motor cylinder 15. The figures show that the airflow can flow through this opening and the lower frame part.
The single-wheel swing arm 16 is pivotably mounted by means of the bearing pin 17 on the motor-transmission block 12 and is resiliently supported on the seat post 2 by means of the spring struts 18. The rear swing arm 16 is provided on the chain side with a hollow body 16 'for receiving the chain.
With 19 leading from the fuel tap 7 to the carburetor 20 fuel line is indicated. The reference number 21 denotes the pedals and the reference number 22 the exhaust pipe.
