Abstract

"MéTODO DE PROTEçãO EM UM SISTEMA DE FREIO". A invenção diz respeito a um método de proteção para evitar superaquecimento em um sistema de freio de veículo que compreende pelo menos um freio provido com pelo menos um atuador eletromecânico (8) que compreende um impulsionador (13) atuado por um motor elétrico para aplicar uma força seletivamente nos elementos de atrito (11) do freio, sendo possível ao sistema de freio operar, mediante solicitação do piloto do veículo, tanto em um modo controlado, no qual o impulsionador (13) do atuador (8) é atuado pelo motor elétrico, de maneira a aplicar uma força de frenagem seletivamente aos elementos de atrito (11) em resposta a uma instrução de frenagem, como em um modo de estacionamento, em que o impulsionador (130) do atuador (9) é travado em uma posição na qual ele exerce uma força de estacionamento nos elementos de atrito (11). De acordo com a invenção, o método inclui a etapa de agir, enquanto o veículo está parado, enquanto o sistema de freio está no modo controlado e enquanto o impulsionador (13) é controlado para aplicar uma força no elemento de atrito, para comutar automaticamente e sem intervenção do piloto do modo controlado para o modo de estacionamento.
