Abstract

MéTODO PARA OPERAçãO DE UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA. A presente invenção se refere a um método para operação de um motor de combustão interna (10), referido motor (10) compreendendo uma pluralidade de cilindros (12) cada um dos quais possuindo pelo menos uma válvula de um primeiro tipo, uma válvula de admissão (5), e pelo menos uma válvula de um segundo tipo, uma válvula de exaustão (7), disposta em uma parte de extremidade do cilindro (12), cada um de referidos cilindros (12) adicionalmente possuindo um pistão (2) movivelmente disposto no mesmo, referido pistão (2) estando adaptado para reciprocar entre uma primeira posição de extremidade (TDC) e uma segunda posição de extremidade (BDC), em que a primeira posição de extremidade (TDC) está localizada mais próxima para as válvulas (5, 7) do que a posição de extremidade inferior (BDC), referido motor (10) estando adaptado para possibilitar desativação de pelo menos um cilindro (12) pela redução de seu suprimento de combustível, referido motor (10) adicionalmente estando adaptado para possibilitar tempos de abertura variados das válvulas de admissão (5) e/ou das válvulas de exaustão (7) A presente invenção está caracterizada pelo fato de que o referido método compreende a etapa de extensão do tempo de abertura total de pelo menos um tipo de válvula (5, 7) de um cilindro desativado (12) comparado com o tempo de abertura do mesmo tipo de válvula (5, 7) quando o cilindro (12) está ativo, referida extensão do tempo de abertura total sendo desempenhada de maneira que pelo menos uma válvula (5, 7) de referido tipo é aberta pelo menos parcialmente tanto durante um primeiro curso de êmbolo de motor, em que o pistão (2) se movimenta em uma direção em direção de sua segunda posição de extremidade (BDC), e quanto bem como durante um segundo curso de êmbolo de motor consecutivo, em que o pistão (2) se movimenta em uma direção em direção de sua primeira posição de extremidade (TDC).
