Abstract

processo em fase gasosa para a homo ou copolimerização de propileno com outras olefinas, realizado na presença de um sistema catalisador caracterizado pelo fato de que compreende: (a) um componente catalisador sólido que compreende mg, ti, halogênio, um doador de elétron selecionado a partir de 1,3-diéteres e um polímero de olefina em uma quantidade específica; (b) um composto de alquilalu-mínio e (c) um composto doador de elétron externo selecionado a partir de classes específicas; sendo que os ditos componentes (a) e (c) são empregados em quantidades de modo que a razão molar entre al/(ed) esteja na faixa de 2 a 200. o processo tem a capacidade para gerar produto de polipropileno que tem boas propriedades morfológicas, alta estereorregularidade e capacidade para mostrar propriedades de autoextinção, de modo que os efeitos negativos causados pela polimerização de partícula de catalisador fina possam ser seletivamente solucionados ou mitigados.
