Abstract

"TRAçADO DE LINHAS E DISPOSIçãO DE PROPULSãO PARA UM NAVIO DE ALTO-MAR, DE CURSO ESTáVEL, COM PROPULSãO POR HéLICES-LEMES". A presente invenção refere-se a um navio de alto-mar propulsionado por pelo menos duas hélices-lemes, com um casco para transportar cargas úteis ou passageiros, sendo que as hélices-lemes, de preferência, são executadas como hélices-lemes elétricas (PODS) (3), e sendo que o casco a meia-nau possui uma seção transversal aproximadamente retangular, seguido em direção da popa por prolongamentos posteriores da quilha (skegs) (1) entre os quais é formado um canal de corrente, e sendo que o canal de corrente é executado em forma de cunha com uma expansão constante, de preferência, levemente curvada para baixo em direção da popa, sendo que as paredes laterais do canal de corrente, pelo menos parcialmente, são executadas como superfícies planas e se convertem em nervuras (2) em forma de estabilizadores que possuem volumes para o deslocamento da água, e sendo que o canal de corrente é realizado de tal modo que através do seu efeito de canal gera uma resistência de navio pequena, e sendo que sua influência sobre a corrente posterior tem um efeito favorável para o rendimento propulsor.
