Abstract

"LIGA PARA GRADE POSITIVA FINA PARA BATERIAS DE CHUMBO áCIDAS E PROCESSO PARA MANUFATURA DA GRADE". Trata-se de uma grade de bateria de chumbo produzida de uma liga à base de chumbo contendo cálcio, estanho e prata, tendo a seguinte composição: cálcio acima de 0,06 e abaixo de 0,082%, estanho acima de 1,0 e abaixo de 1,2%, prata entre 0,005 e 0,020% e, opcionalmente, contendo até 0,025% de alumínio. Para melhorar a resistência à corrosão e reduzir o crescimento da grade, a grade pode conter opcionalmente de 0,005 a 0,05% de cobre como um elemento de liga complementar e como um substituto de parte da prata, desde que o teor de prata não fique abaixo de 0,005% e não mais do que uma proporção traço de alumínio esteja presente.
