Abstract
"ENVIO DE SEQuêNCIAS DE VìDEO PROGRESSIVAS ADEQUADAS PARA FORMATO MPEG E OUTROS FORMATOS DE DADOS". Na codificação e decodificação de sinais de vídeo, um fluxo de bit de vídeo progressivo (201) é recebido o qual tem quadros de referência e quadros de não referência, sendo que cada um tem uma referência temporal inicial de acordo com uma estrutura de seq³ência de quadro inicial. As referências temporais apenas de quadros de referência são remapeadas (202) ignorando-se os quadros de não referência. os quadros de referência são empacotados (210 - 213) com um identificador de pacote de base (PID) e os quadros de não referência com um PID de aperfeiçoamento, para proporcionar fluxos de bit de aperfeiçoamento e de transporte, respectivamente.
