Abstract
"TéCNICA PARA SIMULAR GRANULAçãO DE FILME EM VìDEO CODIFICADO". A simulação da granulação de filme em uma imagem codificada ocorre por extração da granulação de filme e, a seguir, caracterização da granulação de filme para codificação em um fluxo de vídeo, para permitir a restauração da granulação de filme após a decodificação. De modo particular, a granulação de filme é caracterizada com base no tipo de filme, ou pelo uso de um modelo específico. Na prática, detalhes da granulação de filme são transmitidos como informações paralelas ao fluxo codificado de vídeo, tipicamente sob forma de uma mensagem de Informações Complementares para Melhoria (SEI) da granulação de filme, empregando-se a norma de codificação de vídeo ITU-T H.264.
