Abstract

"SISTEMA E PROCESSO PARA EFETUAR UM EXAME, UMA NAVEGAçãO E UMA VISUALIZAçãO TRIDIMENSIONAIS VIRTUAIS". Um sistema e um método para gerar uma imagem de visualização tridimensional de um objeto tal como um órgão usando técnicas de visualização de volume e explorando a imagem usando um sistema de navegação guiada que permite que o operador percorra uma trajetória de vóo e ajuste a visão para uma porção específica da imagem de interesse de modo, por exemplo, a identificar pólipos, cistos, ou outras características abdominais anormais no órgão visualizado. Uma biópsia eletrónica pode também ser efetuada sobre um crescimento ou massa identificados no objeto visualizado. Técnicas aperfeiçoadas de geração de trajetória de vóo e representação de volumes propiciam uma melhor navegação e exame através de uma região de interesse.
