Lastheber, insbesondere Wagenheber.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Fig. 4 zeigt dieses Ausführungsbeispiel im Längsschnitt.

Load jacks, especially jacks.
The known jacks have a pressure pump which, when operated by hand, causes the pressure fluid to act on a simple or telescopic working piston, which is thereby raised. Depending on the diameter of the piston of this pressure pump is small or large, large loads can be raised slowly or small loads can be raised more quickly. A jack with a pressure pump of a certain piston diameter is therefore only suitable for certain loads.
The invention relates to a jack in which both modes of operation can be used.
For this purpose it has two or more pressure pumps of different pressure areas or piston diameters, which act independently of one another on the same working piston. With one and the same jack, large loads can be lifted more slowly by actuating the pressure pump with a smaller piston diameter, and smaller loads can be lifted quickly by actuating the pressure pump with a larger piston diameter. It is of course also easily possible to switch from one pressure pump to the other while working. The pistons can be driven by hand or by motor.
EMI1.1
Section along line C-D of Fig. 2. Fig. 4 shows a second embodiment in vertical section.
In the example of FIGS. 1-3, two pressure pumps of different piston diameters are provided. From Fig. 1 it can be seen that the one pressure pump consists of the piston (plunger) 1 and the housing (cylinder) 2 of smaller diameter and the second pressure pump consists of the piston 3 and the housing 4 of larger diameter. Both pressure pumps act in a manner known per se on the same working piston in that they suck in liquid from a container via the suction valve 5 or 6 and this through opening 7 or 8 and a channel not visible in FIG. 1 via a pressure valve 9 or Press 10 into the working cylinder 11. In this z. B. a telescopic piston 12, 13 is guided, the part 13 of which is provided with a corresponding head 14.
If the lifting of large loads comes into consideration, the pressure pump 1, 2 is actuated. The pressure pump 3, 4 is used to lift smaller loads, and the lifting takes place at a greater speed than with the pump 1, 2. In individual cases it is of course easily possible to switch from one pump to the other during the lifting work. This is the case with any type of working piston, e.g. B. with increasing or decreasing load, but also with constant load then advantageous if after partial lifting by means of the large pressure pump fatigue of the worker has occurred so that he can carry out the remaining stroke with the small pump.
When using a telescopic working piston there is also the following advantage. Were z. B. both piston parts 12, 13 raised by means of the larger pressure pump 3, so when the outer piston part 12 has reached its stroke end (determined by the stops 20 and 21), the inner piston part 13 by means of the smaller pump 1 up to (touching the Stops 22,23) can be raised further.
It is advantageous to make the ratio of the piston area F of the entire working piston 12, 13 to the piston area f of the larger pressure pump 3 equal to or approximately equal to the ratio of the piston area FI of the smaller working piston 13 to the piston area fl of the smaller pressure pump 1, i.e. F : f rv: fez In such a case, the same or approximately the same conditions prevail when the piston part 13 is moved by means of the smaller pressure pump 1 as when both piston parts are moved.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
parts 12, 13 by means of the larger pressure pump 3. This relationship can of course also be used with a more than two-part telescopic working piston and an equal number of pressure pumps.
From FIGS. 2 and 3, the advantageous dual arrangement of the pressure pumps mentioned can also be seen, with the two identical or essentially identical pistons, namely 1 and 1 ′ or. 3 and 3 ', each operated by a common double hand lever 15 and 16, which are pivotably mounted about axes 17 and 18, respectively. In this way it is achieved that two of the same pumps suitable for the case in question are always effective alternately.
A significant simplification of the jack can be achieved in that two or more pistons of the pressure pumps surround each other (hollow pistons), can be locked individually and can be coupled to their drive so that any one of the pistons and also several or all existing pistons can be actuated together. In such a case, the differently sized pressure surface can either be present in the individual pistons, or a larger pressure surface is created by joint actuation of at least two pistons. When using z. B. of two pistons so it is possible to operate each of the pistons individually and both together. Is the piston area of a piston, for.
If, for example, the outer piston is larger than that of the other piston, the requirement for piston areas of different sizes can be met either by transition from one piston to the other or by driving both pistons together. Three different sized piston areas can then be brought into effect with two pump pistons as desired.
An embodiment with only two pistons surrounding one another is advantageous, of which only the outer one can be decoupled from the common drive and locked. Fig. 4 shows this embodiment in longitudinal section.
The piston 3 ″ is hollow, surrounds the piston 1 ″ and can move in the cylinder 4, which is only indicated here. The piston 1 ″ is connected to its drive lever 25 at 24. The piston 3 ″ is lockable and can be coupled to the same drive lever 25. For this purpose z. B. a piston extension 33 with eye, which can be fixed by means of a bolt 26 either on the frame at 27 or on the drive lever 25 at 28.
If the pump piston 3 ″ is fixed at 26,27, then only the piston 1 ″ is effective, for which the piston 3 ″ forms the cylinder. The piston sucks in liquid via the suction valve 29 and presses it through the channel 30 and via the pressure valve 31 into the cylinder chamber 11 of the working piston 32, which is shown here, for example, as an ordinary piston.
If the piston 3 ″ is released from its locking position and connected to the drive lever 25 at 28, then both pistons 1 ″, 3 ″ work together, that is to say with the sum of their pressure areas. The cross-sectional areas of the pistons 1 ″, 3 ″ can be the same size or be unequal in size.
