'Sofern also eine Pumpe beide Bedürfnisse,
Multiple piston pump The invention relates to a pump for
Pressing od, the like. With the help of which liquids are primarily promoted and under
Pressure to be set. If the pump is designed as a piston pump and the
The task to be solved is to achieve the highest possible pressure with little effort,
z. B. by hand, it is useful to make the piston diameter small.
On the other hand, with these pumps there is often a need to be idle or at
low pressure to move the liquid as quickly as possible. For this is a possible
large piston diameter advantageous. 'So if a pump has both needs,
namely the generation of high pressure with little effort and the promotion
to satisfy a large amount of liquid at low pressure, it is advisable to
the pump as a multiple pump with both a high pressure part, d. H. with a piston
small diameter, as well as with a low pressure part, d. H. with a piston
large diameter to train. There are already such multiple piston pumps
known in which -both pistons are operated by a common pump lever
and which is preferably in the Niederdruckteml, z. B. in the low pressure cylinder, prevailing
Pressure automatically when a possibly selectable limit pressure value is reached
the low pressure part, e.g. B. the low pressure piston, under
Maintenance
the ability to work of the high-pressure part is out of operation. These pumps require
a series of valves for their action which make the structure intricate. purpose
of the invention is such a design and arrangement in such a pump
the two pistons and the pump lever indicate that no valves are required
are, so that the structure of the pump becomes extremely simple. That is according to the
Invention achieved in that the pump lever acting on the two pump pistons
does not have a fixed pivot point, but around the two articulation points
can swing the piston. Such a multiple pump can be designed in this way
be that the high pressure piston and the low pressure piston with opposite
Pressure direction are arranged and the pump lever on the one piston directly
and on the other piston with the interposition of an externally encompassing the pump body
Frame od. The like. Is articulated in such a way that the joint of the low-pressure piston as
Lever pressure point for actuating the high pressure piston and the joint of the high pressure piston
serves as a lever pressure point for actuating the low-pressure piston. But it is
also possible, the two pistons arranged next to one another with the same pressure direction
to be linked to a pump lever connecting them, preferably by means of sliding joints
and the pump lever on a transverse to it and around a unilateral
Pivot pivotable operating lever to be rotatably mounted.

und Fig. 3 den Grundriß der Pumpe nach Fig. 2.Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing
shown, namely Fig. i shows a double piston pump according to the invention in vertical section,
2 shows a further embodiment of a double piston pump: e in vertical section
and FIG. 3 shows the plan view of the pump according to FIG.
in Verbindung steht. In the pump according to FIG. I, a small movement in the pump body i
High pressure piston 2 and a larger low pressure piston 3 in opposite directions, and
although the high pressure piston 2 in a high pressure cylinder 9 and the low pressure piston
3 in a low pressure cylinder ok. The piston 2 is connected by means of a joint 4
articulated to the pump lever 8. The piston 3 has a joint at its lower end
5, which has a frame 6 encompassing the outside of the pump body i and a joint
7 is also articulated to the pump lever 8 with a different lever arm length. The cylinders
9 and io are connected to the cylinder base by a channel i i, which is connected via a cross line
12 with a valve box, not shown and designed in a known manner
communicates.
i o wegen des größeren Querschnittes stärker ansteigt.
Upon actuation of the pump lever 8 moves at the beginning as a result of
low pressure in the pump cylinders first the small piston 2 to the end
its stroke. The larger piston 3 then settles under increased force
in motion until the end of its stroke. The total deflection of the pump lever is
denoted by large stroke G, which corresponds to the partial movement of the small piston 2 alone
Deflection with small stroke l (. As long as the operating pressure is still relatively low
and the physical strength is sufficient, both pistons 2 and 3 move in the long stroke
G, and the pump is capable of handling a large amount of liquid in this operating condition
to promote. As the operating pressure increases, the power requirement increases, namely
this has an effect first on the large piston 3, as the resistance in the low-pressure cylinder
i o increases more strongly because of the larger cross-section. Then with further
Pressure increase reaches a certain limit pressure in the low pressure cylinder io, at which
it is no longer possible to move the piston 3 further. The low pressure piston 3 is
thus held in its lower position, but the smaller high-pressure piston is working
2 in the small stroke I (of the pump lever 8 continues unhindered, this lever around the
now fixed joint 7 is pivoted. With the help of the high pressure piston 2 alone
the pressure can now be increased further until the physical strength also fails
more than enough to actuate this piston. The operation of the pump is based on this
Way fully automated, and the shutdown of the low pressure part
does not require any additional. Operating procedures, the switching time being selectable
and depends on the force exerted on the pump lever. It is also
possible to alternate between large and small stroke at random.
In the pump according to FIGS. 2 and 3, where the same parts are provided with the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1, the high-pressure piston 2 and the low-pressure piston 3 work in the same direction. The two pistons 2 and 3 are connected here by a pump lever 14 which has sliding joints 1 5 and 1 6 at both ends for coupling with the piston. The pump lever 14 is rotatably mounted on an actuating lever 8o which extends transversely to it and which rests pivotably at one end in a fixed bearing 13. When the pressure is low, the actuating lever 8o first moves both pistons a and 3, and a larger amount of liquid is conveyed. When the limit pressure value is reached in the low-pressure cylinder io, the piston 3 is held in its upper position, and only the high-pressure piston 2 then continues to work, the pump lever 14 executing a tilting movement around the now stationary slide bearing 16.
