Abstract
Description
よって、本発明は、耐衝撃性および加工性に優れたヒートシール紙および該ヒートシール紙を用いた包装袋を提供することを目的とする。
<1> 紙基材の少なくとも一方の面に、少なくとも1層のヒートシール層を有するヒートシール紙であって、前記紙基材は、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をX1、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をY1、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をX2、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をY2としたとき、X1およびY1の相乗平均が120J/m2以上であり、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1)が0.5以上2.0以下であり、X2およびY2の相乗平均が2.0J/g以上である、ヒートシール紙。
<2> 前記紙基材は、実質的に針葉樹パルプを主成分とする原料パルプからなる、<1>に記載のヒートシール紙。

本発明の第一の実施形態に係るヒートシール紙(以下、単に「ヒートシール紙」ともいう)は、紙基材の少なくとも一方の面に、少なくとも1層のヒートシール層を有し、前記紙基材は、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をX1、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をY1、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をX2、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をY2としたとき、X1およびY1の相乗平均が120J/m2以上であり、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1)が0.5以上2.0以下であり、X2およびY2の相乗平均が2.0J/g以上である、ヒートシール紙である。
また、本発明の第二の実施形態に係るヒートシール紙は、紙基材の少なくとも一方の面に、少なくとも1層のヒートシール層を有し、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をX1a、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をY1a、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をX2a、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をY2aとしたとき、X1aおよびY1aの相乗平均が120J/m2以上であり、Y1aに対するX1aの比(X1a/Y1a)が0.5以上2.0以下であり、X2aおよびY2aの相乗平均が2.0J/g以上である、ヒートシール紙である。
本実施形態のヒートシール紙を用いると、密封袋状にしたときに、耐衝撃性に優れ、破損しにくい包装袋とすることができる。また、本実施形態のヒートシール紙は、低坪量でも耐衝撃性に優れるため、コシが低く、柔らかい。ゆえに、包装機械での加工がしやすい。なお、「本実施形態のヒートシール紙」等の記載は、特に断りのない限り、上述した第一の実施形態と、第二の実施形態のヒートシール紙の双方を意味するものである。
(原料パルプ)
本実施形態のヒートシール紙に用いられる紙基材は、実質的に針葉樹パルプを主成分とする原料パルプからなることが好ましい。「針葉樹パルプを主成分とする原料パルプ」とは、原料パルプ中、針葉樹パルプの含有量が50質量%超のものをいい、針葉樹パルプの含有量は、好ましくは80質量%以上、より好ましくは90質量%以上、さらに好ましくは100質量%である。針葉樹パルプは、平均繊維長が長く、針葉樹パルプを原料パルプとして用いた紙基材は、優れた耐衝撃性および加工性を有する傾向にある。なお、「紙基材が実質的に原料パルプからなる」とは、紙基材中の原料パルプの含有量が95質量%以上(上限値100質量%以下)であることを意味し、この場合において紙基材には原料パルプ以外の成分がさらに含まれていてもよい。
JIS P 8211:2011に準拠して測定される、紙基材を構成するパルプのカッパー価は、耐衝撃性および加工性を有するヒートシール紙を得る観点から、好ましくは30以上であり、そして、好ましくは60以下、より好ましくは55以下、さらに好ましくは50以下、さらに好ましくは46以下である。紙基材を構成するパルプのカッパー価は、JIS P 8220-1:2012に準拠して離解した紙基材パルプを試料として、JIS P 8211:2011に準拠して測定される。
本実施形態のヒートシール紙に用いられる紙基材は、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をX1、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をY1としたとき、X1およびY1の相乗平均が120J/m2以上であり、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1)が0.5以上2.0以下である。TEA物性が上記範囲内にある紙基材を用いることで、第二の実施形態のTEA物性を有するヒートシール紙を得ることができる。
本実施形態の効果のさらなる向上の観点から、X1およびY1の相乗平均(X1とY1の積の平方根)は、好ましくは150J/m2以上、より好ましくは160J/m2以上、さらに好ましくは170J/m2以上、さらにより好ましくは180J/m2以上、さらにより一層好ましくは200J/m2以上である。X1およびY1の相乗平均の上限は、特に限定されないが、好ましくは400J/m2以下である。
本実施形態の効果のさらなる向上の観点から、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1)は、好ましくは0.8以上、より好ましくは1.0以上である。Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1)は、好ましくは1.8以下、より好ましくは1.6以下、さらに好ましくは1.5以下である。
本実施形態のヒートシール紙に用いられる紙基材は、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をX2、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をY2としたとき、X2およびY2の相乗平均が2.0J/g以上である。TEAI物性が上記範囲内にある紙基材を用いることで、第二の実施形態のTEAI物性を有するヒートシール紙を得ることができる。
本実施形態の効果のさらなる向上の観点から、X2およびY2の相乗平均(X2とY2の積の平方根)は、好ましくは2.1J/g以上、より好ましくは2.4J/g以上である。X2およびY2の相乗平均の上限は、特に限定されないが、好ましくは5.0J/g以下、より好ましくは4.0J/g以下である。
紙基材の坪量は、特に限定されないが、耐衝撃性および加工性を有するヒートシール紙を得る観点から、好ましくは50g/m2以上、より好ましくは60g/m2以上、さらに好ましくは70g/m2以上であり、そして、好ましくは150g/m2以下、より好ましくは140g/m2以下、さらに好ましくは120g/m2以下、さらにより好ましくは110g/m2以下である。紙基材の坪量は、JIS P 8124:2011に準拠して測定される。
紙基材の厚さは、耐衝撃性および加工性を有するヒートシール紙を得る観点から、好ましくは20μm以上、より好ましくは30μm以上、さらに好ましくは40μm以上、さらにより好ましくは60μm以上、より一層好ましくは80μm以上であり、そして、好ましくは200μm以下、より好ましくは180μm以下、さらに好ましくは160μm以下である。紙基材の厚さは、JIS P 8118:2014に準拠して測定される。
紙基材の密度は、成形加工性の観点から、好ましくは0.3g/cm3以上、より好ましくは0.5g/cm3以上であり、そして、好ましくは1.2g/cm3以下、より好ましくは1.0g/cm3以下である。紙基材の密度は、上述した測定方法により得られた、紙基材の坪量および厚さから算出される。
紙基材には、必要に応じて、たとえば、アニオン性、カチオン性もしくは両性の歩留剤、濾水性向上剤、乾燥紙力増強剤、湿潤紙力増強剤、サイズ剤、填料等の内添助剤、耐水化剤、染料、蛍光増白剤等の任意成分を含んでいてもよい。
乾燥紙力増強剤としては、カチオン化澱粉、ポリアクリルアミド、カルボキシメチルセルロース等が挙げられる。乾燥紙力増強剤の含有量は、特に限定されないが、原料パルプ(絶乾質量)あたり、好ましくは3.0質量%以下である。
湿潤紙力増強剤としては、ポリアミドポリアミンエピクロロヒドリン、尿素ホルムアルデヒド樹脂、メラミンホルムアルデヒド樹脂等が挙げられる。
サイズ剤としては、ロジンサイズ剤、合成サイズ剤、石油樹脂系サイズ剤等の内添サイズ剤、スチレン-アクリル酸共重合体、スチレン-メタクリル酸共重合体等の表面サイズ剤が挙げられる。サイズ剤の含有量は、特に限定されないが、原料パルプ(絶乾質量)あたり、好ましくは3.0質量%以下である。
定着剤としては、硫酸バンド、ポリエチレンイミン等が挙げられる。定着剤の含有量は、特に限定されないが、原料パルプ(絶乾質量)あたり、好ましくは3.0質量%以下である。
填料としては、タルク、カオリン、焼成カオリン、炭酸カルシウム、硫酸カルシウム、硫酸バリウム、二酸化チタン、酸化亜鉛、アルミナ、炭酸マグネシウム、酸化マグネシウム、シリカ、ホワイトカーボン、ベントナイト、ゼオライト、セリサイト、スメクタイト等の無機填料、アクリル系樹脂、塩化ビニリデン系樹脂等の有機填料が挙げられる。
本実施形態に係るヒートシール紙は、紙基材の少なくとも一方の面に、少なくとも1層のヒートシール層を有する。ヒートシール層は、加熱、超音波等で溶融し、接着する層である。紙基材上にヒートシール層を欠点なく均質に形成する観点から、本実施形態に係るヒートシール紙は、紙基材の少なくとも一方の面に、ヒートシール層を2層以上有することが好ましい。この際、2層以上のヒートシール層の組成は、同じであっても異なっていてもよい。
ヒートシール層は、水分散性樹脂バインダーを含むことが好ましい。水分散性樹脂バインダーとは、水溶性ではない(具体的には、25℃の水に対する溶解度が10g/L以下である)が、エマルションやサスペンションのように水中で微分散された状態となる樹脂バインダーをいう。水分散性樹脂バインダーを用いてヒートシール層を水系塗工することで、再離解性に優れ、紙として再生利用可能なヒートシール紙を得ることができる。なお、水分散性樹脂バインダーが下記の滑剤にも該当する場合は、滑剤に分類するものとする。
オレフィン/不飽和カルボン酸系共重合体としては、エチレン-(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体、エチレン-(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルエステル共重合体等が挙げられる。中でも、エチレン-(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体が好ましく、エチレン-アクリル酸共重合体がより好ましい。よって、好ましい実施形態において、ヒートシール層に含まれる水分散性樹脂バインダーは、エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体、エチレン-(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体およびスチレン/ブタジエン系共重合体からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種である。さらに、塗工時の装置の汚れを抑制し、操業性を向上させる観点では、エチレン-(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体がより好ましい。なお、オレフィン/不飽和カルボン酸系共重合体は、アイオノマーであってもよい。
スチレン/ブタジエン系共重合体としては、合成品、市販品のいずれを使用してもよく、市販品としては、日本ゼオン株式会社製のNipol LX407-F7、LX407-G51、LX407-S10、LX407-S12、日本エイアンドエル株式会社製のナルスターSR-100、SR-102、SR-103等が挙げられる。
水分散性樹脂バインダーがエチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体である場合、ヒートシール層中のエチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体の含有量は、好ましくは50質量%以上、より好ましくは60質量%以上、さらに好ましくは65質量%以上、さらにより好ましくは70質量%以上であり、そして、好ましくは100質量%以下、より好ましくは90質量%以下、さらに好ましくは80質量%以下である。
また、水分散性樹脂バインダーがエチレン-(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体である場合、ヒートシール層中のエチレン-(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体の含有量は、好ましくは30質量%以上、より好ましくは40質量%以上、さらに好ましくは45質量%以上、さらにより好ましくは50質量%以上であり、そして、好ましくは100質量%以下、より好ましくは98質量%以下、さらに好ましくは90質量%以下、さらにより好ましくは80質量%以下、さらにより一層好ましくは75質量%以下である。
また、水分散性樹脂バインダーがスチレン/ブタジエン系共重合体である場合、ヒートシール層中のスチレン/ブタジエン系共重合体の含有量は、好ましくは50質量%以上、より好ましくは60質量%以上、さらに好ましくは70質量%以上、さらにより好ましくは80質量%以上であり、そして、好ましくは100質量%以下、より好ましくは98質量%以下である。
ヒートシール紙のブロッキング抑制の観点から、ヒートシール層は、上記の水分散性樹脂バインダーに加えて、顔料を含有することが好ましい。
ヒートシール紙の滑り性付与およびブロッキング抑制の観点から、ヒートシール層は、上記の水分散性樹脂バインダーに加えて、滑剤を含有することが好ましい。滑剤とは、ヒートシール層に配合することにより、ヒートシール層表面の摩擦係数を低減させることができる物質である。
本実施形態において、ヒートシールした際の剥離強度(ヒートシール剥離強度)を高める観点から、ヒートシール層は、シランカップリング剤を含有することも好ましい。シランカップリング剤は、反応生成物の状態でヒートシール層中に含まれていてもよい。
シランカップリング剤は、分子内に、少なくとも1つのアルコキシシリル基と、少なくとも1つの、前記アルコキシシリル基以外の反応性の官能基とを有する化合物である。アルコキシシリル基としては、モノアルコキシシリル基、ジアルコキシシリル基、トリアルコキシシリル基のいずれでもよいが、反応性の観点から、トリアルコキシシリル基が好ましい。
アルコキシシリル基以外の反応性の官能基としては、ビニル基、エポキシ基、スチリル基、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基、アミノ基、イソシアナト基、ウレイド基、酸無水物基が例示される。これらの中でも、アミノ基、エポキシ基、および酸無水物基が好ましく、アミノ基がより好ましい。
アミノ基含有シランカップリング剤としては、3-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、3-アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、N-2-(アミノエチル)-3-アミノプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、N-2-(アミノエチル)-3-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、3-トリエトキシシリル-N-(1,3-ジメチルブチリデン)プロピルアミン、N-フェニル-3-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン等が例示され、これらの中でも、3-アミノプロピルトリエトキシシランが好ましい。
酸無水物基含有シランカップリング剤としては、3-トリメトキシシリルプロピルコハク酸無水物等が例示される。
ヒートシール層は、上記の水分散性樹脂バインダー、顔料、滑剤、シランカップリング剤に加えて、他の成分をさらに含有していてもよい。他の成分としては、例えば、レベリング剤;消泡剤;粘度調整剤;着色染料等の着色剤などが例示される。
(引張エネルギー吸収量(TEA))
本実施形態の第二のヒートシール紙は、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をX1a、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をY1aとしたとき、X1aおよびY1aの相乗平均が120J/m2以上であり、Y1aに対するX1aの比(X1a/Y1a)が0.5以上2.0以下である。
本実施形態の効果のさらなる向上の観点から、X1aおよびY1aの相乗平均(X1aとY1aの積の平方根)は、好ましくは150J/m2以上、より好ましくは160J/m2以上、さらに好ましくは170J/m2以上、さらにより好ましくは180J/m2以上、さらに一層好ましくは200J/m2以上である。X1aおよびY1aの相乗平均の上限は、特に限定されないが、好ましくは400J/m2以下である。
本実施形態の効果のさらなる向上の観点から、Y1aに対するX1aの比(X1a/Y1a)は、好ましくは0.8以上、より好ましくは1.0以上である。Y1aに対するX1aの比(X1a/Y1a)は、好ましくは1.8以下、より好ましくは1.6以下、さらに好ましくは1.5以下である。
本実施形態のヒートシール紙は、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をX2a、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をY2aとしたとき、X2aおよびY2aの相乗平均が2.0J/g以上である。
本実施形態の効果のさらなる向上の観点から、X2aおよびY2aの相乗平均(X2aとY2aの積の平方根)は、好ましくは2.1J/g以上、より好ましくは2.4J/g以上である。X2aおよびY2aの相乗平均の上限は、特に限定されないが、好ましくは5.0J/g以下、より好ましくは4.0J/g以下である。
本実施形態のヒートシール紙は、再離解後のパルプ回収率が85%以上であることが好ましく、90%以上であることがより好ましく、95%以上であることがさらに好ましく、98%以上であることがさらにより好ましい。再離解後のパルプ回収率が上記範囲内であれば、リサイクル性に優れる。ヒートシール紙の再離解後のパルプ回収率は、後述の実施例に記載の方法により測定される値である。
本実施形態のヒートシール紙は、ヒートシール層の剥離強度が、好ましくは5.5N/15mm以上、より好ましくは6.0N/15mm以上、さらに好ましくは6.5N/15mm以上であり、そして好ましくは10N/15mm以下、より好ましくは9.5N/mm以下、さらに好ましくは9.0N/15mm以下、さらにより好ましくは8.5N/15mm以下、より一層好ましくは8.0N/15mm以下である。ヒートシール層の剥離強度は、ヒートシール層同士を160℃、0.2MPa、1秒の条件でヒートシールした際の剥離強度であり、具体的には後述の実施例に記載の方法によって測定される値である。
本実施形態のヒートシール紙の製造方法は、特に限定されない。たとえば、原料パルプのカッパー価を30以上60以下とする蒸解処理を行なう蒸解工程と、蒸解処理した原料パルプを20質量%以上45質量%以下含有する分散液を叩解処理する叩解工程と、叩解処理した原料パルプを抄紙する抄紙工程と、を含む方法により得られた紙基材の少なくとも一方の面上に、少なくとも1層のヒートシール層を塗工する塗工工程を含む製造方法が挙げられる。当該製造方法のそれぞれの工程について、以下に説明する。
蒸解工程は、原料パルプのカッパー価を好ましくは30以上60以下とする蒸解処理を行なう工程である。特に限定されないが、原料パルプの材料として用いられる原料チップを、水酸化ナトリウムを含む薬液で処理することにより、カッパー価が30以上60以下である原料パルプが得られる。水酸化ナトリウムを含む薬液による処理方法としては、公知の薬液を使用する公知の処理方法を用いることができる。
原料パルプのカッパー価を30以上60以下とすることにより、上記のTEA物性およびTEAI物性を満たし、耐衝撃性および加工性を有する紙基材および該紙基材を用いたヒートシール紙が得られる。当該観点から、原料パルプのカッパー価は、55以下とすることが好ましく、50以下とすることがより好ましく、46以下とすることがさらに好ましい。
叩解工程は、蒸解処理した原料パルプを好ましくは20質量%以上45質量%以下含有する分散液を叩解処理する工程である。叩解処理の方法は特に限定されないが、蒸解処理した原料パルプを水中に分散させて、上記の原料パルプ濃度の分散液を作製し、叩解することが好ましい。叩解処理方法としては、特に限定されないが、たとえば、ダブルディスクリファイナー、シングルディスクリファイナー、コニカルリファイナー等の叩解機を用いて行うことができる。
蒸解処理した原料パルプを20質量%以上45質量%以下含有する分散液を叩解処理することにより、上記のTEA物性およびTEAI物性を満たし、耐衝撃性および加工性を有する紙基材および該紙基材を用いたヒートシール紙が得られるとともに、生産性に優れる。
抄紙工程は、叩解処理した原料パルプを抄紙する工程である。抄紙方法については、特に限定されず、たとえばpHが4.5付近で抄紙を行う酸性抄紙法、pHが約6~約9で抄紙を行う中性抄紙法等が挙げられる。抄紙工程では、必要に応じて、pH調整剤、消泡剤、ピッチコントロール剤、スライムコントロール剤等の抄紙工程用薬剤を適宜添加できる。抄紙機についても、特に限定されず、たとえば長網式、円網式、傾斜式等の連続抄紙機、またはこれらを組み合わせた多層抄き合わせ抄紙機等が挙げられる。
本実施形態のヒートシール紙がヒートシール層を2層以上有する場合、1層あたりの塗工量(乾燥後)は、好ましくは0.5~20g/m2であり、より好ましくは1~10g/m2であり、さらにより好ましくは2~5g/m2である。
なお、本実施形態のヒートシール紙がヒートシール層を2層有する場合、第1層(紙基材側のヒートシール層)と、第2層との塗工量の比(第1層/第2層)は、好ましくは30/70以上70/30以下、より好ましくは40/60以上60/40以下、さらに好ましくは45/55以上55/45以下である。
本実施形態に係るヒートシール紙は、食品、生活雑貨、日用品(石鹸、おむつ)などの包装袋として好適に使用できる。したがって、本実施形態は、上記ヒートシール紙を用いた包装袋についても提供する。
<ヒートシール層塗料の調製>
エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体(住化ケムテックス株式会社製、スミカフレックスS-470HQ、固形分55%)182部、低分子量ポリエチレンワックスディスパージョン(三井化学株式会社製、ケミパールW-310、固形分38.5%)52部、カオリンA(平均粒径8μm)の濃度50%水分散液20部を混合し、固形分濃度が40%になるよう水を加えて撹拌しヒートシール層塗料(濃度40%)を得た。上記のエチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体は、25℃の水に対する溶解度が10g/L以下であった。
得られたヒートシール層塗料を、坪量100g/m2、厚さ125μm、密度0.80g/cm3の超伸張紙(王子マテリア株式会社製、X1およびY1の相乗平均:320J/m2、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1):1.2、X2およびY2の相乗平均:3.2J/g、パルプ種:未晒針葉樹(ダグラスファー)クラフトパルプ100質量%、原料パルプのカッパー価45、紙力増強剤(ポリアクリルアミド0.8質量%、カチオン化澱粉0.8質量%(計1.6質量%))、サイズ剤(合成サイズ剤0.2質量%)、硫酸バンド1.0質量%)にヒートシール層の乾燥後の塗工量が4g/m2となるように、グラビアコーター(スムージングバーを使用)で塗工し、1層目のヒートシール層を形成した。その後、同じ面に対して、ヒートシール層の乾燥後の塗工量が4g/m2となるように、再度グラビアコーター(スムージングバーを使用)で塗工し、2層目のヒートシール層を形成した。
紙基材を、坪量80g/m2、厚さ114μm、密度0.70g/cm3の超伸張紙(王子マテリア株式会社製、X1およびY1の相乗平均:220J/m2、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1):1.2、X2およびY2の相乗平均:2.8J/g、パルプ種:未晒針葉樹(ダグラスファー)クラフトパルプ100質量%、原料パルプのカッパー価45)に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
1層目のヒートシール層の塗工量を8g/m2とし、2層目のヒートシール層の塗工を省いた以外は実施例1と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
紙基材を、坪量80g/m2、厚さ113μm、密度0.71g/cm3の未晒クラフト紙(王子マテリア株式会社製、X1およびY1の相乗平均:65J/m2、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1):1.2、X2およびY2の相乗平均:0.8J/g)に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
紙基材を、坪量100g/m2、厚さ143μm、密度0.70g/cm3の未晒クラフト紙(王子マテリア株式会社製、X1およびY1の相乗平均:80J/m2、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1):1.2、X2およびY2の相乗平均:0.8J/g)に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
紙基材を、坪量120g/m2、厚さ173μm、密度0.70g/cm3の未晒クラフト紙(王子マテリア株式会社製、X1およびY1の相乗平均:90J/m2、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1):1.2、X2およびY2の相乗平均:0.8J/g)に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
紙基材を、坪量130g/m2、厚さ196μm、密度0.66g/cm3の未晒クラフト紙(王子マテリア株式会社製、X1およびY1の相乗平均:100J/m2、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1):1.2、X2およびY2の相乗平均:0.8J/g)に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
実施例3のヒートシール層塗料を以下のように調製した塗料に変更した以外は、実施例3と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
<ヒートシール層塗料の調製2>
エチレン-アクリル酸共重合体(固形分42%)164部、カルナバワックス(固形分30%)3.3部、カオリンA(平均粒径8μm)の濃度50%水分散液60部を混合し、固形分濃度が35%になるよう水を加えて撹拌しヒートシール層塗料(濃度35%)を得た。上記のエチレン-アクリル酸共重合体は、25℃の水に対する溶解度が10g/L以下であった。
実施例4のヒートシール層塗料のエチレン-アクリル酸共重合体(固形分42%)の配合量を160部、カルナバワックス(固形分30%)の配合量を10部に変更した以外は、実施例4と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
実施例4のヒートシール層塗料のエチレン-アクリル酸共重合体(固形分42%)の配合量を143部、カルナバワックス(固形分30%)の配合量を33部に変更した以外は、実施例4と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
実施例4のヒートシール層塗料のエチレン-アクリル酸共重合体(固形分42%)の配合量を124部、カルナバワックス(固形分30%)の配合量を60部に変更した以外は、実施例4と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
1層目のヒートシール層の塗工量を4g/m2とし、2層目のヒートシール層の塗工量を4g/m2とした以外は実施例5と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
ヒートシール層の塗工量を6g/m2とし、実施例4のヒートシール層塗料を以下のように調製した塗料に変更した以外は、実施例4と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
<ヒートシール層塗料の調製3>
エチレン-アクリル酸共重合体(固形分42%)231部、カルナバワックス(固形分30%)6.7部、シランカップリング剤(信越化学工業株式会社製、KBE-903、有効シラン濃度1%)100部を混合し、固形分濃度が27%になるよう水を加えて撹拌し、ヒートシール層塗料(固形分濃度27%)を得た。
実施例9のヒートシール層塗料のエチレン-アクリル酸共重合体(固形分42%)の配合量を229部、カルナバワックス(固形分30%)の配合量を10部に変更した以外は、実施例9と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
実施例9のヒートシール層塗料のエチレン-アクリル酸共重合体(固形分42%)の配合量を202部、カルナバワックス(固形分30%)の配合量を47部に変更した以外は、実施例9と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
実施例9のヒートシール層塗料のエチレン-アクリル酸共重合体(固形分42%)の配合量を176部、カルナバワックス(固形分30%)の配合量を83部に変更した以外は、実施例9と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
<ヒートシール層塗料の調製3>
エチレン-アクリル酸共重合体(固形分42%)231部、カルナバワックス(固形分30%)10部を混合し、固形分濃度が35%になるよう水を加えて撹拌しヒートシール層塗料(濃度35%)を得た。
得られたヒートシール層塗料を坪量88g/m2、厚さ135μm、密度0.64g/cm3の一般伸張紙(王子マテリア株式会社製、X1およびY1の相乗平均:178J/m2、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1):1.5、X2およびY2の相乗平均:2.1J/g)に、ヒートシール層の乾燥後の塗工量が10g/m2となるように、エアナイフコーターで塗工し、ヒートシール層を形成した。
実施例13のヒートシール層塗料を以下のように調製した塗料に変更した以外は、実施例13と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
<ヒートシール層塗料の調製4>
エチレン-アクリル酸共重合体(固形分42%)219部、カルナバワックス(固形分30%)10部、カオリンA(平均粒径8μm)の濃度50%水分散液10部を混合し、固形分濃度が35%になるよう水を加えて撹拌しヒートシール層塗料(濃度35%)を得た。
<ヒートシール層塗料の調製5>
スチレン-ブタジエン共重合体(日本ゼオン株式会社製、LX407-S12、固形分46%)213部、パラフィンワックス水懸濁液(中京油脂株式会社製、ハイドリンL-700、固形分30%)6.7部を混合し、固形分濃度が35%になるよう水を加えて撹拌しヒートシール層塗料(濃度35%)を得た。上記のスチレン-ブタジエン共重合体は、25℃の水に対する溶解度が10g/L以下であった。
得られたヒートシール層塗料を坪量88g/m2、厚さ135μm、密度0.64g/cm3の一般伸張紙(王子マテリア株式会社製、X1およびY1の相乗平均:178J/m2、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1):1.5、X2およびY2の相乗平均:2.1J/g)に、ヒートシール層の乾燥後の塗工量が12g/m2となるように、エアナイフコーターで塗工し、ヒートシール層を形成した。
実施例15のヒートシール層塗料を以下のように調製した塗料に変更した以外は、実施例15と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
<ヒートシール層塗料の調製5>
スチレン-ブタジエン共重合体(日本ゼオン株式会社製、LX407-S12、固形分46%)202部、パラフィンワックス水懸濁液(中京油脂株式会社製、ハイドリンL-700、固形分30%)6.7部、カオリンA(平均粒径8μm)の濃度50%水分散液10部を混合し、固形分濃度が35%になるよう水を加えて撹拌しヒートシール層塗料(濃度35%)を得た。
紙基材を、坪量100g/m2、厚さ125μm、密度0.80g/cm3の超伸張紙(王子マテリア株式会社製、X1およびY1の相乗平均:320J/m2、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1):1.2、X2およびY2の相乗平均:3.2J/g)に変更し、ヒートシール層の塗工量を8g/m2とした以外は実施例15と同様にしてヒートシール紙を得た。
<引張エネルギー吸収量(TEA)>
実施例および比較例のヒートシール紙について、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して、縦方向の引張エネルギー吸収量X1a、横方向の引張エネルギー吸収量Y1aを測定し、X1aおよびY1aの相乗平均、Y1aに対するX1aの比(X1a/Y1a)を算出した。
実施例および比較例のヒートシール紙について、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して、縦方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量X2a、横方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量Y2aを測定し、X2aおよびY2aの相乗平均を算出した。
1組のヒートシール紙を、ヒートシール層が向き合うように重ね、ヒートシールテスター(テスター産業製、TP-701-B)を用いて、160℃、0.2MPa、1秒の条件でヒートシールした。続いて、ヒートシールされた試験片を15mm幅にカットし、引張試験機を用いて、引張速度300mm/minでT字剥離し、記録された最大荷重をヒートシール剥離強度とした。
絶乾質量30gのヒートシール紙を手で3~4cm角に破き、20℃の水道水に一晩浸漬した。ヒートシール紙の濃度を2.5%になるよう希釈後、TAPPI標準離解機(熊谷理機株式会社製)を用いて3000rpmの回転数で20分間離解処理した。得られたパルプスラリーを6カット(スリット幅0.15mm)のスクリーンプレートをセットしたフラットスクリーン(熊谷理機株式会社製)に供し、8.3L/minの水流中で精選処理した。スクリーンプレート上に残った未離解物を回収して105℃のオーブンで乾燥して絶乾質量を測定し、以下の計算式:
パルプ回収率(%)={試験に供したヒートシール紙の絶乾質量(g)-未離解物の絶乾質量(g)}/試験に供したヒートシール紙の絶乾質量×100
からパルプ回収率を算出した。
ヒートシール紙を用いて、縦型ピロー成形機(株式会社川島製作所製KBF6000X2)により縦15cm、横11cmのピロー袋を作製し、以下の基準で出来栄えを評価した。
A:問題なくピロー袋を成形できる
B:若干成形しづらいが、ピロー袋を成形でき、不具合はない
C:袋形状にはできるが、シワが入る、形が崩れる、シール不良になる等の不具合がある
D:ピロー袋の形にすることが不可能。
縦400mm×横760mmに切ったヒートシール紙を、縦400mm×横380mmになるようにヒートシール層面同士が向き合う形で2つ折りにし、内部に3kgの砂利を入れた状態でシール幅10mmのインパルスシーラー(富士インパルス株式会社製、VG-400)でシールして、三方シール袋を5袋作製した。60cmの高さから「1:底角→2:ボトム→3:サイド→4:サイド→5:トップ→6:表面→7:裏面」の順で三方シール袋をコンクリート床へ落下させ、袋の破損状態を以下の基準で目視にて評価した。
A:上記1から7までを1セットとして、複数セット落下させても袋は破損しない(5袋全てが複数セットで破損しない)
B:上記1から7までを1セットとして、1セット以内に袋が破損することはないが、複数セットで袋が破損することがある(5袋中1袋以上が複数セットで破損する)
C:上記1から7までを1セットとして、1セット以内に袋が破損することがある(5袋中1袋以上が1セット以内に破損する)
D:上記1から7までを1セットとして、5袋全てが1セット以内に袋が破損する
Claims (14)
- 紙基材の少なくとも一方の面に、少なくとも1層のヒートシール層を有するヒートシール紙であって、
前記紙基材は、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をX1、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をY1、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をX2、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をY2としたとき、X1およびY1の相乗平均が120J/m2以上であり、Y1に対するX1の比(X1/Y1)が0.5以上2.0以下であり、X2およびY2の相乗平均が2.0J/g以上である、ヒートシール紙。 - 前記紙基材は、実質的に針葉樹パルプを主成分とする原料パルプからなる、請求項1に記載のヒートシール紙。
- 前記紙基材を構成する原料パルプは、未晒クラフトパルプである、請求項1または2に記載のヒートシール紙。
- 前記紙基材を構成するパルプは、JIS P 8211:2011に準拠して測定されるカッパー価が30以上60以下である、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のヒートシール紙。
- 前記紙基材の坪量が120g/m2以下である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のヒートシール紙。
- 前記ヒートシール層が、水分散性樹脂バインダーを含み、前記水分散性樹脂バインダーは、エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体、エチレン-(メタ)アクリル酸共重合体およびスチレン/ブタジエン系共重合体からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種である、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のヒートシール紙。
- 前記ヒートシール層中の水分散性樹脂バインダーの含有量が30質量%以上98質量%以下である、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のヒートシール紙。
- 前記ヒートシール層が、滑剤をさらに含む、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載のヒートシール紙。
- 前記滑剤が、ポリエチレンワックス、カルナバワックスおよびパラフィンワックスからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種である、請求項8に記載のヒートシール紙。
- 前記ヒートシール層中の滑剤の含有量が0.2質量%以上30質量%以下である、請求項8または9に記載のヒートシール紙。
- 前記ヒートシール層が、顔料およびシランカップリング剤の少なくとも一方をさらに含む、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載のヒートシール紙。
- 再離解後のパルプ回収率が85%以上である、請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載のヒートシール紙。
- 紙基材の少なくとも一方の面に、少なくとも1層のヒートシール層を有するヒートシール紙であって、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をX1a、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の引張エネルギー吸収量をY1a、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される縦方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をX2a、JIS P 8113:2006に準拠して測定される横方向の比引張エネルギー吸収量をY2aとしたとき、X1aおよびY1aの相乗平均が120J/m2以上であり、Y1aに対するX1aの比(X1a/Y1a)が0.5以上2.0以下であり、X2aおよびY2aの相乗平均が2.0J/g以上である、ヒートシール紙。
- 請求項1~13のいずれか1項に記載のヒートシール紙を用いた包装袋。
