Abstract
Description
本願は、2015年1月15日に、日本に出願された特願2015-005720号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
本発明に係る非空気入りタイヤは、車軸に取り付けられる取り付け体と、取り付け体をタイヤ径方向の外側から囲む外筒体と、取り付け体と外筒体との間にタイヤ周方向に沿って複数配置され、取り付け体と外筒体とを連結する連結部材と、外筒体に外装された円筒状のトレッド部材と、を備え、外筒体と連結部材とは、連結部材側から外筒体側に向けて成形材料を射出する射出成型により一体に形成された非空気入りタイヤであって、トレッド部材は、タイヤ径方向の内側に位置するベースゴム部と、ベースゴム部よりタイヤ径方向の外側に位置するキャップゴム部と、を備え、ベースゴム部の剛性は、キャップゴム部の剛性よりも低く、ベースゴム部は、外筒体において、少なくとも、タイヤ周方向に隣り合う連結部材の間に位置する部分に配置されている。
図1及び図2に示すように、本実施形態の非空気入りタイヤ1は、図示しない車軸に取り付けられる取り付け体11と、取り付け体11をタイヤ径方向の外側から囲む円筒状のリング状体13(外筒体)と、取り付け体11とリング状体13との間にタイヤ周方向に沿って複数配設されるとともに、取り付け体11とリング状体13とを相対的に弾性変位自在に連結する連結部材15と、リング状体13に外装された円筒状のトレッド部材16と、を備えている。
装着筒部17、外リング部18及びリブ19は、例えばアルミニウム合金等の金属材料で一体に形成されている。装着筒部17及び外リング部18は、それぞれ円筒状に形成され、軸線Oと同軸に配設されている。複数のリブ19は、例えば周方向に同等の間隔をあけて配置されている。
外リング部18において、タイヤ周方向で隣り合うキー溝部18a同士の間に位置する部分には、外リング部18をタイヤ径方向に貫通する肉抜き孔18bがタイヤ幅方向Hに間隔をあけて複数形成されている。これら複数の肉抜き孔18bで構成される孔列18cは、タイヤ周方向に間隔をあけて複数形成されている。同様に各リブ19にも、リブ19をタイヤ幅方向Hに貫通する肉抜き孔19aが形成されている。
なお、貫通孔28aは、タイヤ周方向に間隔をあけて板材28に複数形成されている。
同様に、雌ねじ部は、タイヤ周方向に間隔をあけて凹部18dの壁面に複数形成されている。図示の例では、貫通孔28a及び雌ねじ部がそれぞれ2つずつ形成されている場合を示しているが、2つに限定されない。
そして、外装体12は、突条部12aがキー溝部18aに嵌合された状態で、凹部18dに嵌め込んだ板材28の貫通孔28aを通して図示しないボルトを雌ねじ部に螺合させることにより、取り付け体11に固定されている。
このような構成により、突条部12aはキー溝部18a内にがたつき少なく精度よく嵌合されている。
そして、タイヤ周方向で隣り合う第1連結板21同士は互いに非接触とされている。同様に、タイヤ周方向で隣り合う第2連結板22同士も互いに非接触とされている。また、タイヤ幅方向Hで隣り合う第1連結板21及び第2連結板22同士も互いに非接触とされている。さらに、第1連結板21及び第2連結板22は、タイヤ幅方向Hに沿った横幅及び厚さが互いに同等とされている。
そして、1つの連結部材15を構成する第1連結板21及び第2連結板22の各外端部21a、22aは、リング状体13の内周面において、タイヤ幅方向Hの位置を互いに異ならせた状態でタイヤ周方向における同一の位置に連結されている。
これら複数の湾曲部21d~21f、22d~22fは、非空気入りタイヤ1をタイヤ幅方向Hから見たタイヤ側面視で、第1連結板21及び第2連結板22が延びる方向に沿って形成されている。図示の例では、第1連結板21における複数の湾曲部21d~21fと、第2連結板22における複数の湾曲部22d~22fとは、上記第1連結板21及び第2連結板22が延びる方向で互いに隣り合うとともに、湾曲方向が互いに逆向きとされている。
具体的には、第1連結板21の外端部21aと内端部21bとを結んだ線と、第2連結板22の外端部22aと内端部22bとを結んだ線とのなす角度が、例えば20°以上135°以下の角度となるように、第1連結板21及び第2連結板22の内端部21b、22bが外装体12の外周面に連結されている。
また、第1連結板21及び第2連結板22それぞれの第1湾曲部21d、22d同士、第2湾曲部21e、22e同士、並びに第3湾曲部21f、22f同士は、互いにタイヤ周方向に突となる向きが逆で、かつ大きさが同等とされている。
図示の例では、外装体12及びリング状体13は、それぞれタイヤ幅方向Hの中央部で分割されている。
以下、第1外装体25、第1リング状体23及び第1連結板21が一体に形成されたユニットを第1分割ケース体31といい、第2外装体26、第2リング状体24及び第2連結板22が一体に形成されたユニットを第2分割ケース体32という。
第1分割ケース体31を例にすると、金型として、第1外装体25を成形する内空間と、第1リング状体23を成形する外空間と、第1連結板21を成形する中間空間と、からなるキャビティを備え、キャビティに対するゲートが内空間に接続された構成を有する。この金型において、ゲートからキャビティ内に成形材料を射出して、内空間から中間空間を通して外空間に成形材料を供給することで、第1分割ケース体31を形成する。このとき、中間空間において、タイヤ周方向に隣り合う第1連結板21を成形する各部分を通過した成形材料が、その射出圧に基づいて、外空間においてタイヤ周方向に互いに接近するように流動することで、第1リング状体23において、タイヤ周方向に隣り合う第1連結板21の外端部21a同士にタイヤ周方向に挟まれた部分にウエルドが形成される。
これらの点は、第2分割ケース体32においても同様である。
この場合には、第1外装体25及び第2外装体26は、第1分割ケース体31及び第2分割ケース体32の連結時、タイヤ幅方向Hに向かい合う端縁同士がタイヤ幅方向Hに離間する。従って、取り付け体11に外嵌される外装体12の内周面に例えばバリが生じることを防止することができる。
その後、一体に組み合わせた第1分割ケース体31及び第2分割ケース体32に対して、トレッド部材16を設けることで、非空気入りタイヤ1を得ることができる。
ベースゴム部41は、リング状体13において、少なくとも、タイヤ周方向に隣り合う連結部材15の間に位置する部分(ウエルドが形成される部分)に配置され、図示の例では、前述のようにリング状体13の全周にわたって延びている。ベースゴム部41のうち、リング状体13の外周面上において、タイヤ周方向に隣り合う連結部材15の間に位置する部分(以下、「ウエルド保護部」という。)41aは、他の部分よりも厚く、タイヤ径方向に大きく形成されている。なお本実施形態では、リング状体13において、タイヤ周方向に隣り合う連結部材15の間に位置する部分とは、第1リング状体23(または第2リング状体24)において、タイヤ周方向に隣り合う第1連結板21の各外端部21a(または第2連結板22の各外端部22a)に、タイヤ周方向に挟まれた部分となっている。
ベースゴム部41のうち、ウエルド保護部41a以外の部分である除外部分の厚さ(タイヤ径方向の大きさ)は、タイヤ径方向の位置によらず同等となっている。
また、ベースゴム部41のウエルド保護部41aのタイヤ周方向の横幅をA、タイヤ周方向におけるウエルド保護部41a間の距離をBとすると、ウエルド保護部41a間の距離Bは、ウエルド保護部41aの横幅Aよりも長い。
キャップゴム部42は、ベースゴム部41をタイヤ径方向の外側から全周にわたって覆っていて、ベースゴム部41は、タイヤ径方向の外側に露出していない。キャップゴム部42の外周面は、トレッド部材16の外周面を構成している。
一方、剛性が高いキャップゴム部42が、剛性が低いベースゴム部41に対してタイヤ径方向の外側に位置しているので、キャップゴム部42によりトレッド部材16の耐摩耗性や耐衝撃性を確保するとともに、非空気入りタイヤ1の走行安定性も確保することができる。
以上のように、ベースゴム部41により、ウエルドに伝達される応力を抑えつつ、キャップゴム部42により、トレッド部材16の耐摩耗性や耐衝撃性を確保することが可能になり、非空気入りタイヤ1の強度を向上させることができる。
さらに、ベースゴム部41のゴム硬度Gbおよびキャップゴム部42のゴム硬度Gcが、30<Gb<Gc<80を満たすので、トレッド部材16に生じる応力を、ベースゴム部41において一層効果的に分散させることができる。
さらに、ベースゴム部41の弾性率Ebおよびキャップゴム部42の弾性率Ecが、0.1MPa<Eb<Ec<100MPaを満たすので、トレッド部材16に生じる応力を、ベースゴム部41において一層効果的に分散させることができる。
軸線Oに直交する直交面に沿う断面視で、ベースゴム部41においてタイヤ径方向の外側を向く外面の曲率は、トレッド部材16の外周面の曲率よりも大きい。
さらに、上述した実施形態では、外装体12を介して連結部材15を取り付け体11に間接的に連結する構成としたが、これに限定されない。例えば、取り付け体11に連結部材15を直接的に連結する構成としてもよい。
実施例として、図1~図5で示した非空気入りタイヤ1を用い、比較例として、実施例の非空気入りタイヤ1において、トレッド部材16が、キャップゴム部42と同一の材料で単層構造とされている非空気入りタイヤを用いた。
図7に示すように、これらの非空気入りタイヤのリング状体13の厚さをH1、ベースゴム部41の除外部分の厚さをH2a、ベースゴム部41のウエルド保護部41aの厚さをH2bおよびキャップゴム部42の厚さをH3とする。リング状体13の厚さH1は、ベースゴム部41の除外部分の厚さH2a、ベースゴム部41のウエルド保護部41aの厚さH2bおよびキャップゴム部42の厚さH3よりも大きい、つまりH1>H2a、H2b、H3という関係が成立している。さらに、リング状体13の厚さH1は、ベースゴム部41の除外部分の厚さH2aとキャップゴム部42の厚さH3との和と同等またはそれ以上、または、ベースゴム部41のウエルド保護部41aの厚さH2bとキャップゴム部42の厚さH3との和と同等またはそれ以上、つまりH1≧H2a+H3またはH1≧H2b+H3という関係が成立している。
これら非空気入りタイヤの外径およびH1、H2a、H2bおよびH3の各寸法は全て、以下の表1に示す大きさに設定した。なお表1の2行目に記載した値の単位は、mmである。
その結果、比較例の非空気入りタイヤに対して、実施例の非空気入りタイヤ1では走行距離が20%長くなったことが確認された。

- 車軸に取り付けられる取り付け体と、
前記取り付け体をタイヤ径方向の外側から囲む外筒体と、
前記取り付け体と前記外筒体との間にタイヤ周方向に沿って複数配置され、前記取り付け体と前記外筒体とを連結する連結部材と、
前記外筒体に外装された円筒状のトレッド部材と、を備え、
前記外筒体と前記連結部材とは、前記連結部材側から前記外筒体側に向けて成形材料を射出する射出成型により一体に形成された非空気入りタイヤであって、
前記トレッド部材は、タイヤ径方向の内側に位置するベースゴム部と、前記ベースゴム部よりタイヤ径方向の外側に位置するキャップゴム部と、を備え、
前記ベースゴム部の剛性は、前記キャップゴム部の剛性よりも低く、
前記ベースゴム部は、前記外筒体において、少なくとも、タイヤ周方向に隣り合う前記連結部材の間に位置する部分に配置されている非空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記ベースゴム部は、前記外筒体の全周にわたって延び、

- 前記ベースゴム部のゴム硬度Gbおよび前記キャップゴム部のゴム硬度Gcは、30<Gb<Gc<80を満たす請求項3記載の非空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ベースゴム部のゴム硬度Gbおよび前記キャップゴム部のゴム硬度Gcは、30<Gb<Gc<80を満たす請求項4記載の非空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ベースゴム部の弾性率Ebは、前記キャップゴム部の弾性率Ecよりも低い請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の非空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記ベースゴム部の弾性率Ebおよび前記キャップゴム部の弾性率Ecは、0.1MPa<Eb<Ec<100MPaを満たすことを特徴とする請求項7記載の非空気入りタイヤ。
