上記の構成であれば、ワイヤ等の線状部材により移動量軽減部材を構成するので、より簡易的な構成にて着座者に掛かる荷重を低減させることが可能となる。
上記の構成であれば、シートバックフレームの幅方向両端部を連結する連結ワイヤを移動量軽減部材として用いるので、移動量軽減部材としての線状部材を別途用意する必要が無く、部品点数の増加やシートバックフレームの大型化を抑制することが可能となる。
上記の構成であれば、移動量軽減部材を構成する連結ワイヤの前方延出部の剛性が確保されるため、車両衝突時には着座者胸部を適切に押さえることが可能となる。また、連結ワイヤの幅方向中央部分に前方延出部が複数形成されているので、より効果的に着座者胸部の沈み込み量を抑えることが可能となる。

本実施形態に係る連結ワイヤ21は、前述したように、その中途位置にて複数回折れ曲っており、シートバックS1の幅方向に沿って延出した水平部21aと、水平部21aに対して直交するように屈曲し略U字状に折り返されたU字状部21bとを有している。特に、本実施形態では、上記のU字状部21bが複数箇所、具体的には2箇所、シートバックS1の幅方向中心に対して左右対称な位置に形成されている。換言すると、本実施形態において、連結ワイヤ21は、左右対称な形状となるように構成されている。
さらに、屈曲部21dの前端部同士の間には、屈曲部21dの前端部と連なっておりシートバックS1の幅方向に沿って延出した第2延出部としての前方部21eが形成されている。つまり、U字状部21bの屈曲部21dと前方部21eとが上述の前方延出部を構成している。

Claims (14)
- 車両用シートの着座者の背中を支持するシートバックの骨格を成すシートバックフレームであって、
車両衝突によって前記着座者が前記車両用シートの後方に向かって移動する際に前記着座者の背中において胸椎が位置する部分を押さえて当該部分の後方移動量を軽減させる移動量軽減部材を備えることを特徴とするシートバックフレーム。 - 前記移動量軽減部材は、前記車両用シートの前方に向かって延出した前方延出部を有する線状部材であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシートバックフレーム。
- 前記線状部材は、前記シートバックの幅方向両端部の間を連結する連結ワイヤであり、
前記前方延出部は、前記連結ワイヤの所定部分を前記車両用シートの前方に向かって折り曲げることで形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のシートバックフレーム。 - 前記前方延出部は、前記幅方向において前記連結ワイヤの中央部分に複数形成されており、
複数の前記前方延出部の各々は、前記車両用シートの前方に向かう第1延出部と、該第1延出部の前端部と連なっており前記幅方向に沿って延出した第2延出部と、を備えていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のシートバックフレーム。 - 前記連結ワイヤは、前記車両用シートにおいて、前記シートバックにヘッドレストを取り付けるために設けられたヘッドレストピラーよりも下方に位置し、
前記第2延出部は、前記幅方向において前記ヘッドレストピラーの配置位置に差し掛かる位置に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のシートバックフレーム。 - 前記シートバックの前記幅方向両端部には一対の側部フレームが配置されており、
前記第2延出部は、前記側部フレームの前端よりも後方に位置し、かつ、前記側部フレームの後端よりも前端に位置していることを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載のシートバックフレーム。 - 車両衝突によって前記着座者が前記車両用シートの後方に向かって移動する際に前記着座者の腰部を押さえて該腰部の後方移動を抑制する腰部移動抑制部材を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載のシートバックフレーム。
- 上下方向に対して傾いた状態で配置され、前記着座者の上体を後退移動可能に支持する受圧部材を備え、
前記移動量軽減部材は、前記シートバックの幅方向の端側から見たときに、前後方向において前記受圧部材が位置している領域よりも後方に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載のシートバックフレーム。 - 前記シートバックフレームの上端部を成し、前記シートバックの高さ方向に延びた部分を有する上部フレームを備え、
前記第2延出部は、前記シートバックの幅方向の端側から見たときに、前記上部フレームのうちの前記高さ方向に延びた部分の前後方向中央を通過する仮想平面よりも後方に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項4乃至6のいずれか一項に記載のシートバックフレーム。 - 前記シートバックフレームの上端部を成し、前記シートバックの高さ方向に延びた部分を有する上部フレームを備え、
前記上部フレームにおいて、前記高さ方向に延びた部分は、前記シートバックの幅方向の両端部に位置し、
前記移動量軽減部材は、前記幅方向において前記上部フレームのうちの前記高さ方向に延びた部分の内側に配置され、当該部分に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項に記載のシートバックフレーム。 - 前記連結ワイヤは、前記車両用シートにおいて、前記シートバックにヘッドレストを取り付けるために設けられたヘッドレストピラーよりも下方に位置しており、
前記連結ワイヤにおいて前記前方延出部が形成されている位置は、前記ヘッドレストピラーよりも下方位置であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のシートバックフレーム。 - 前記連結ワイヤにおいて前記前方延出部が形成されている位置は、前記ヘッドレストピラーよりも前方位置であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシートバックフレーム。
- 前記シートバックフレームの上端部を成し、前記シートバックの高さ方向に延びた部分を有する上部フレームを備え、
前記幅方向における前記連結ワイヤの両端部は、前記上部フレームのうちの前記高さ方向に延びた部分に取り付けられ、
前記連結ワイヤにおいて前記前方延出部が形成されている位置は、前記上部フレームのうちの前記高さ方向に延びた部分における前記連結ワイヤの両端部の取り付け位置よりも前方位置であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のシートバックフレーム。 - 前記シートバックの前記幅方向両端部には一対の側部フレームが配置されており、
前記連結ワイヤにおいて前記前方延出部の前端部が設けられている位置は、前記側部フレームの後端よりも前方位置であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のシートバックフレーム。
