More preferably, the total thickness of the base fabric layer 222 and the skin layer 221 is 0.4 mm to 0.7 mm. If the thickness is smaller than 0.3 mm, the strength when the base fabric layer 222 and the skin layer 221 are attached to the surface of the cushion layer 223 may not be ensured. Moreover, when the said thickness is larger than 1.0 mm, there exists a possibility that the base fabric layer 222 and the skin layer 221 cannot be fractured
- the thickness of the cushion layer 223 is preferably 2.5 mm to 3.0 mm.
- the cushion layer 223 is formed by knitting a yarn having a thickness of about 0.01 mm to 1 mm made of the synthetic resin fiber. This is because if the thickness of the thread is greater than 1 mm, the cushion layer 223 becomes rough and the adhesive is difficult to adhere. In addition, if the thickness of the thread is smaller than 0.01 mm, the cushion layer 223 becomes finer, the strength of the cushion layer 223 increases, and it is difficult to break.
- the thickness of the yarn is preferably in the range of 0.05 mm to 0.5 mm. Incidentally, in the second embodiment, a thread having a thickness of about 0.1 mm is used.
- the original fabric 222A of the base fabric layer 222 has anisotropy with respect to the tensile strength in the direction along the plane. That is, in the original fabric 222A, the tensile strength is minimized in a predetermined direction R1 along the plane of the original fabric 222A, while the tensile strength is maximized in a direction R2 orthogonal to the same direction R1.
- the skin layer 221 of 2nd Embodiment does not have anisotropy regarding the tensile strength of the direction along the plane. Therefore, the tensile strength of the skin material 220 is minimum in the direction R1.

That is, the notch 220b is formed over a range Y1 indicated by an arrow in FIG. Moreover, as shown in FIG. 13, the notch 220b is formed in a V-shaped cross section. Therefore, the site
- the skin material 220 is broken along the boundary line L between the door portion 235 and the base body 231 with the pair of left and right cutouts 220b as starting points by being pressed through the door portion 235.
- the tensile strength of the skin material 220 is minimized with respect to the vehicle width direction, breakage of the skin material 220 along the boundary line L extending in a direction orthogonal to the vehicle width direction proceeds smoothly.
- the rear end portion 236 of the door portion 235 is opened outward, and the airbag 251 advances to the outside of the upper panel 211.
- the rear end 236 of the door part 235 constitutes the base rear end 230a together with the rear end 232 of the base body 231.
- the skin material 220 has an extended portion 220 a that extends from the substrate rear end portion 230 a toward the inside of the substrate 230.
- a notch 220 b is provided at a portion between the door portion 235 and the base body 231 in the extended portion 220 a of the skin material 220.
- the skin material 220 is suitably broken only by forming the notch 220b in the extended portion 220a extending toward the inside of the base material rear end portion 230a in the skin material 220.
- a cleavage groove is formed on the back surface of the skin material, and the skin material is attached to the base material so that the boundary line between the cleavage groove and the door portion and the base material body is aligned.
- the upper panel 211 can be easily manufactured.
- a notch 220b is located inside the base material rear end portion 230a in the skin material 220, the design of the skin material 220 is not impaired. Accordingly, it is possible to avoid the design property of the skin material 220 from being impaired, and it is possible to easily manufacture the upper panel 211 that is suitably broken by the inflation pressure of the airbag 251.
- the skin material 220 includes a base fabric layer 222 and a skin layer 221 attached to the surface of the base fabric layer 222. Further, the base fabric layer 222 is formed of a raw fabric 222A having anisotropy with respect to the tensile strength in the direction along the plane. The skin material 220 is adhered to the base material 230 so that the direction in which the tensile strength of the skin material 220 is the smallest is along the vehicle width direction.
- the tensile strength of the skin material 220 is minimized with respect to the vehicle width direction, that is, the direction orthogonal to the boundary line L between the door portion 235 and the base body 231.
- the material 220 is preferably broken along the boundary line L. Therefore, the upper panel 211 can be suitably broken by the inflation pressure of the airbag 251.
- the vehicle interior panel and the vehicle airbag device according to the present invention are not limited to the configurations exemplified in the above embodiment, and may be implemented as, for example, the following forms appropriately modified. it can.
- the cushion layers 23 and 223 constituting the skin materials 20 and 220 are formed of a raw fabric made of a double raschel knitted fabric, but the cushion layer is not limited to this.
- the cushion layer can be formed by another three-dimensionally knitted raw fabric such as a tricot knitted fabric.
- a cushion layer can also be formed, for example with a foaming polyurethane.
- the door portion may be formed of a material different from the base material body.
- the door portion and the base body may be integrally formed. That is, a cleavage groove may be formed on the back surface of the base material, and the base material may be opened using the cleavage groove as a starting point to open the door portion.
- the reinforcing airbag door 140 is attached to the back surface of the door portion 135, while the reinforcing rib on the back surface of the rear end portion 136 of the door portion 135 can be omitted.
- the extended portion 120 a of the skin material 120 may be folded back at the rear end portion 136 of the door portion 135 and brought into contact with the back surface of the rear end portion 136.
- the airbag door 140 can be connected to the retainer 137 via the hinge portion 141.
- the base fabric layer may be formed of resin fibers other than polyester, such as nylon. Moreover, it can replace with the base fabric layer 22 which consists of knitted fabrics, and can also employ

- the direction orthogonal to the boundary line of a door part and a base-material main body and the direction where the tensile strength of a base fabric layer is the smallest may not be completely parallel, Even if the direction R1 is slightly deviated with respect to the orthogonal direction, the effect according to the effect (3) of the second embodiment can be obtained. Incidentally, a deviation of the direction R1 with respect to the direction orthogonal to the boundary line between the door portion and the base body is allowed up to 8 degrees.
- the notch 220b is formed from the skin layer 221 to the cushion layer 223.
