Abstract
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zum automatischen Abschalten einer Brennkraftmaschine in einem Kraftfahrzeug, insbesondere in einem Kraftfahrzeug mit Automatikgetriebe, mittels einer Start-Stopp-Einrichtung, welche Maßnahmen zum automatischen Abschalten der Brennkraftmaschine einleitet, wenn das Fahrzeug in den Stillstand abgebremst und vorteilhafterweise für ein vorgegebenes Zeitintervall durch Betätigung des Bremspedals im Stillstand gehalten wurde. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass zu einem definierten Zeitpunkt vor dem Einleiten der Maßnahmen zum automatischen Abschalten der Brennkraftmaschine die Drehzahl der Brennkraftmaschine verändert, insbesondere reduziert wird.
