図1に示す車載情報機器は、カーナビゲーション装置およびカーオーディオ装置などである。この車載情報機器は、ナビゲーション機能(またはオーディオ機能など)を持ったナビゲーション用基板を内部に収容した機器本体100と、LCD202の表示機能を持ったLCD用基板を内部に収容した表示部200とを組み付けてなる。
図2および図3は機器本体100の構成を示す外観斜視図であり、図2がナビゲーション用基板107の取り付け後、図3が取り付け前の状態を示す。図4は、ナビゲーション用基板107を固定するためのナビゲーション用基板ホルダ108の構成を示す外観斜視図である。
図4に示すように、本体シャーシ101と一体になったナビゲーション用基板ホルダ108に、基板位置決め用凸部110a,110bを突設し、隣接してネジ穴111a,111bを開設する。一方のナビゲーション用基板107には、図2および図3に示すように、基板位置決め用凸部110a,110bに嵌合する基板位置決め用凹部112a,112bと、隣接するネジ穴113a,113bとを開設する。
なお、図示例では、基板位置決め用凹凸部を2組設けたが、3組以上設けてもよい。また、ネジ締結を3箇所以上で行ってもよい。さらに、ネジ締結に代えて爪嵌合にしてもよい。
車載情報機器は、本体シャーシ101と後述する表示部シャーシ203とを組み付けることにより、機器本体100と表示部200を一体化することになる。
そのために、本体シャーシ101の対向する両側面103,104に位置決め部115a,115bを設ける。位置決め部115a,115bそれぞれに2個1組の位置決め用ボス116(図4に示す)を設ける。なお、図4では側面104側の一対の位置決め用ボス116しか見えないが、側面103側にも一対の位置決め用ボス116が設けてある。また、位置決め部115a,115bそれぞれの、一対の位置決め用ボス116の間に挟まれる位置には、ネジ穴117および嵌合爪118を設ける。これらの詳細は後述する。
また、両側面103,104の、位置決め部115a,115bを設けた側の端部に、ネジ穴119a,119b(図2および図3に示す)を設ける。
なお、図示例では、位置決め部115a,115bを両側面103,104に設けたが、対向する一対の面であればよく、底面102と天面106に設けてもよい。
図5および図6は表示部200の構成を示す外観斜視図であり、図5が組み立て後、図6が組み立て前の状態を示す。図7は、表示部シャーシ203の外観斜視図である。
表示部200は、樹脂部材の意匠パネル201と、LCD202と、板金部材の表示部シャーシ203と、LCD用基板204とからなる。この表示部シャーシ203を本体シャーシ101に取り付けることにより、機器本体100と表示部200が一体になる。この表示部シャーシ203の表面には、LCD202と一体になった意匠パネル201が取り付けられ、裏面にはLCD用基板204が取り付けられる。LCD用基板204の機器本体100を向く面の、表示部200の中央付近に相当する位置には、機器本体100側のナビゲーション側コネクタ109に接続するためのLCD側コネクタ205が実装されている。
図7に示すように、表示部シャーシ203に、基板位置決め用凸部206a,206bを突設し、隣接してネジ穴207a,207bを開設する。一方のLCD用基板204には、図5および図6に示すように、基板位置決め用凸部206a,206bに嵌合する基板位置決め用凹部208a,208bと、隣接するネジ穴209a,209bとを開設する。
なお、図示例では、基板位置決め用凹凸部を2組設けたが、3組以上設けてもよい。また、ネジ締結を3箇所以上で行ってもよい。さらに、ネジ締結に代えて爪嵌合にしてもよい。
表示部シャーシ203の対向する両辺から本体シャーシ101側へ突出する位置決め用突片211a,211bを設ける。位置決め用突片211a,211bそれぞれに、ネジ穴212および本体シャーシ101の嵌合爪118に嵌合するための嵌合穴213を設ける。また、位置決め用突片211a,211bそれぞれの先端部分に、本体シャーシ101の一対の位置決め用ボス116に掛止するための両肩部214を形成する。
また、表示部シャーシ203の、位置決め用突片211a,211bを設けた2辺に、固定用突片215a,215bを突設してネジ穴216,216を設ける。
なお、図示例では、位置決め用突片211a,211bを表示部シャーシ203の両側辺に設けたが、上辺と下辺に設けてもよく、本体シャーシ101側の位置決め部115a,115bに相対する位置であればよい。
図8は、機器本体100と表示部200の組み付け前の状態を示す外観斜視図である。図9は、本体シャーシ101の位置決め部115bと表示部シャーシ203の位置決め用突片211bを拡大した図であり、図9(a)は組み付け前、図9(b)は組み付け後の状態を示す。なお、説明の簡略化のため、図8および図9の車載情報機器に対してX,Y,Z軸を定める。
なお、本体シャーシ101の前面105と両側面103,104それぞれとの間には適当な隙間が設けられており、位置決め用突片211a,211bおよび固定用突片215a,215bがその隙間を挿通して本体シャーシ101側に当接することになる。
(1)X軸方向の位置決め
機器本体100と表示部200の組み付け時、本体シャーシ101の側面104において、位置決め部115bの一対の位置決め用ボス116の間に位置決め用突片211bを差し込み、両肩部214を当該一対の位置決め用ボス116に突き当てる。位置決め用ボス116が両肩部214を掛止することにより、本体シャーシ101と表示部シャーシ203のX軸方向の位置決めがされる。
なお、図9では図示を省略したが、対面側の位置決め部115aと位置決め用突片211aも同様にしてX軸方向の位置決めがされる。
位置決め部115bの一対の位置決め用ボス116の間に、位置決め用突片211bの先端部分が挟持された状態となるので、本体シャーシ101と表示部シャーシ203のY軸方向の位置決めがされる。
ただし、各部品の仕上がり寸法によっては位置決め用突片211bを位置決め用ボス116の間に差し込みにくくなるので、位置決め用突片211bと位置決め用ボス116との間にそれぞれ一定のクリアランス(図9(b)の例では各0.1mm)を設けておく必要がある。
なお、図9では図示を省略したが、対面側の位置決め部115aと位置決め用突片211aも同様にしてY軸方向の位置決めがされる。
一対の位置決め用ボス116の間に位置決め用突片211bを差し込むと、位置決め用突片211bが位置決め部115bの外壁面に当接することにより、一対の位置決め用突片211a,211bが側面103,104から抱持する状態となるので、本体シャーシ101と表示部シャーシ203のZ軸方向の位置決めがされる。
ただし、側面103の外壁面および側面104の外壁面にそれぞれ位置決め用突片211a,211bを当接させると、各部品の仕上がり寸法によっては組み付けができなくなるので、側面103と位置決め用突片211aの間、または側面104と位置決め用突片211bの間のいずれか一方にZ軸方向の一定のクリアランス(例えば0.2mm)を設けておく必要がある。たとえクリアランスを設けても、ネジ穴117,212にネジ217を締結する際に位置決め用突片211a,211bの両肩部214より先端部分が撓みながら固定されるので、位置ずれが生じることはない。
さらに続いて、固定用突片215a,215bの各ネジ穴216,216を本体シャーシ101の各ネジ穴119a,119bに当接させ、ネジ218,218を締結する。固定用突片215a,215bの部分にて位置決めされないように、側面103と固定用突片215aの間および側面104と固定用突片215bの間に各々0.2mm程度のクリアランスを設け、ネジ218を締結する際に固定用突片215a,215bの先端部分を撓ませる。図8の例では、この先端部分を0.2mm撓む程度の剛性にするため、固定用突片215aの先端部分の幅を20mm、先端部分の端からネジ穴216の中心までの距離を12mmに設定している。固定用突片215bも同様である。
なお、本体シャーシ101と表示部シャーシ203のネジ固定は位置決め用突片211a,211bでも行うので、強度等が確保できれば、固定用突片215a,215bのネジ固定を省略してもよい。また、位置決め用突片211a,211bのネジ固定および固定用突片215a,215bのネジ固定に代えて、爪嵌合でもよい。
また、上述したように、基板位置決め用凹凸部110b,112bの嵌合により本体シャーシ101に対してナビゲーション側コネクタ109が高精度に位置決めされており、かつ、基板位置決め用凹凸部206a,208aの嵌合により表示部シャーシ203に対してLCD側コネクタ205が高精度に位置決めされているため、本体シャーシ101と表示部シャーシ203同士を位置決めおよび固定することによっても、ナビゲーション側コネクタ109とLCD側コネクタ205の位置精度を高めることができる。
これらの構成により、ピン数を多くする一方で可動範囲が狭まったBtoBコネクタを、ナビゲーション側コネクタ109およびLCD側コネクタ205に用いることができる。ピン数を多くできるので、従来のように複数個のコネクタでピン数を確保する必要がなく、省スペース化を図ることができる。また、FFCおよびFPCのように配線を引き回す等の複雑な処理が不要になり、組立性が向上する。
これに対し、従来はコネクタ接続を目視確認する必要があったため、シャーシ外壁に目視確認用の穴を開設すると共にコネクタをシャーシ外壁付近に実装する必要があった。
これに対し、従来は上述のようにシャーシ外壁付近にコネクタを実装する必要があったので、破損リスクが高かった。
Claims (3)
- 箱状の第1シャーシと、
前記第1シャーシの内部に位置決めして固定された第1回路基板と、
前記第1シャーシの一面を覆う板状の第2シャーシと、
前記第2シャーシの前記第1シャーシを向く面に位置決めして固定された第2回路基板と、
前記第1回路基板および前記第2回路基板の、前記第1シャーシと前記第2シャーシが組み付いた状態になると相対する位置にそれぞれ実装された一対の基板対基板コネクタと、
前記第1シャーシの一対の対向する外壁面それぞれに2つずつ突設したボスと、
前記第2シャーシの一対の対向する辺部それぞれから前記第1シャーシ側へ突出し、前記第1シャーシの一対の対向する外壁面それぞれに当接すると共に、当該突出した先端部分を前記外壁面の前記2つのボスの間に差し込み、当該突出した先端部分に形成した両肩部を前記2つのボスに掛止して、前記第1シャーシと前記第2シャーシの位置決めを行う一対の突片と、
前記第2シャーシの前記突片を前記第1シャーシの外壁面に固定する固定部とを備える車載情報機器。 - 前記第2回路基板のグラウンドが接続された板金部材の前記第2シャーシの突片を、前記第1回路基板のグラウンドが接続された板金部材の前記第1シャーシの外壁面に当接して電気的に接続することを特徴とする請求項1記載の車載情報機器。
- 前記第2シャーシの突片および当該突片が当接する前記第1シャーシの外壁面のうちのいずれか一方に設けた嵌合爪と、
いずれか他方に設け、前記第1シャーシと前記第2シャーシが位置決めして前記一対の基板対基板コネクタが互いに接続した位置になると前記嵌合爪に嵌合する嵌合穴とを備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車載情報機器。
