Abstract
Description
図8に示すように、この直動案内軸受装置は、軸方向に延びる案内レール101と、該案内レール101上に軸方向に相対移動可能に跨架されたスライダ102とを備える。
案内レール101の両側面にはそれぞれ軸方向に延びる転動体転動溝103が形成されており、スライダ102のスライダ本体102Aには、その両袖部104の内側面に、それぞれ転動体転動溝103に対向する転動体転動溝107が形成されている。そして、これらの向き合った両転動体転動溝103,107の間には転動体の一例としての多数のボールBが転動自在に装填され、これらのボールBの転動を介してスライダ102が案内レール101上を軸方向に沿って相対移動できるようになっている。
ところで、工作機械等のように周辺に切削粉等の異物が発生する機械装置に用いる直動案内軸受装置では、上述したサイドシール部材111によるシールだけでは十分でなく、かつ潤滑条件も厳しくなることから、従来においては、図9に示すように、小さな異物のスライダ102内への侵入を防止するためのサイドシール部材111とエンドキャップ105との間に潤滑剤供給部材115をスライダ102の軸方向に複数枚配置すると共に、サイドシール部材111の軸方向の外面側及び内面側にそれぞれエンドキャップ105と同様に略コ字状に形成されて大きい異物又は硬い異物を排除するための鋼製のプロテクタ(硬質シール材)117を取り付けたものが提案されている。
特許文献1に記載された直動案内軸受装置は、スライダ(実際にはエンドキャップ)の軸方向の端部に、潤滑剤供給部材115、及びシール性能の異なる複数のシールをこの順に配置してなる。シール性能の異なる複数のシールは、軟質シール部材としてのゴムシール材111、樹脂シール材120、及びフェルトシール材121と、硬質シール部材としてのプロテクタ117とが図示されるように配設されている。
特許文献2に記載された直動案内装置は、図11に示すように、案内レール202の側面部202aと、スライダ204の内側側面部204aとの間に形成された間隙222をシールするために、案内レール202の高さ方向に複数のシール板228を積層して構成されたアンダーシール224を備えている。
また、特許文献1及び特許文献2に記載された直動案内(軸受)装置は、外部からの異物の侵入を防ぐことのみが記載されており、内部の潤滑剤の漏れを防ぐことについては、考慮されていなかった。
また、本発明の他の目的は、直動案内軸受装置に設置する際のリップ部の向きの自由度を高めたシール部材を提供することにある。
上記案内レールの転動体転動溝に摺接するリップ部を備えたシール本体部と、該シール本体部の両面に設けられた補強部材とを有する。
該案内レールの上記転動体転動溝に対向する転動体転動溝を有し、これらの両転動体転動溝間に挿入された多数の転動体の転動を介して軸方向に沿って相対移動可能に上記案内レールに跨架されたスライダと、
上記スライダの軸方向の端部に、上記スライダの軸方向に沿って重畳して取り付けられた複数のシール部材とを備え、
上記シール部材が、上記案内レールの転動体転動溝に摺接するリップ部を備えたシール本体部と、該シール本体部の両面に設けられた補強部材とを有する。
また、本発明の他の実施形態の直動案内軸受装置は、上記シール部材から突出している上記リップ部の突出部分が内方に屈折し、上記突出部分の長さが、外方に向かうにつれて長くなっている。
また、本発明の他の実施形態の直動案内軸受装置は、上記シール部材から突出している上記リップ部の突出部分が外方に屈折し、上記突出部分の長さが、外方に向かうにつれて短くなっている。
また、直動案内軸受装置に設置する際のリップ部の向きの自由度を高めたシール部材を提供することができる。
(第1の実施形態)
図1は直動案内軸受装置の第1の実施形態における構成を示す図、図2は直動案内軸受装置の第1の実施形態の構成を示す側面図、図3は直動案内軸受装置の第1の実施形態の構成における要部断面図であり、(a)はスライダ及びシール部材の部分断面図、(b)はシール部材の断面図である。図4は直動案内軸受装置の第1の実施形態の構成における要部の図であり、(a)は斜視図、(b)はシール部材の分解斜視図である。
案内レール10の両側面にはそれぞれ軸方向に延びる転動体転動溝11が形成されている。また、スライダ20のスライダ本体20aには、その両袖部21の内側面に、それぞれ転動体転動溝11に対向する転動体転動溝22が形成されている。そして、これらの向き合った両転動体転動溝11,22の間には転動体の一例としての多数のボールBが転動自在に装填され、これらのボールBの転動を介してスライダ20が案内レール10上を軸方向に沿って相対移動できるようになっている。
このため、スライダ本体20aの袖部21内に軸方向に貫通する転動体通路23を形成すると共に、スライダ本体20aの両端にそれぞれ略コ字状のエンドキャップ20bを例えばねじ26等の固定手段を介して固定し、このエンドキャップ20bに上記両転動体転動溝11,22間と上記転動体通路23とを連通する半円弧状に湾曲した方向転換路24を形成することにより、転動体無限循環軌道を形成している。
ここで、図1において、符号25はスライダ本体20aの端面に形成されたねじ26のタップ穴、符号27は給脂用ニップル、符号12は案内レール10の固定用のボルト挿通穴である。
図1、図2、及び図3(a)に示すように、第1のシール部材31、第2のシール部材32、及び第3のシール部材33は、これらが重畳されてシール部材30を構成して、スライダ20の軸方向の端部にねじ26を介して取り付けられる。
ここで、各シール部材31,32,33によって構成されるシール部材30が取り付けられるエンドキャップ20bには、シール部材30が取り付けられる面側に位置合わせ用の嵌合片20cが設けられている。嵌合片20cは、例えば、円筒形状をなし、スライダ本体20aのタップ穴25に連通するエンドキャップ20bのタップ孔20d,20dのそれぞれの近傍に、シール部材30が取り付けられる向きに突出して複数設けられる。
さらに、リップ部31b,32b,33bのうち、最も短いリップ部33bの長さd3は、案内レール10とスライダ20との隙間の寸法Dよりもやや長く設定される。したがって、リップ部33bよりも長く形成されるリップ部31b,32bは、図3(a)において仮想線で示した案内レール10に高い圧力で接触することとなる。
また、シール部材31,32,33は、シール本体部31a,32a,33aを1対の補強部材31c,31c、32c,32c、33c,33cで挟んで構成されているので、裏返してスライダ20に取り付けることができる。したがって、リップ部の屈折する向きが異なるだけのシール部材を、設置面に応じて用意する必要がないので、製造コストを低減させることができる。
以下、本発明の第2の実施形態について、図面を参照して説明する。本実施形態に係る直動案内軸受装置は、各シール部材の構成が前述の第1の実施形態と異なるだけであるので、第1の実施形態と同じ符号を付した同様の構成については説明を省略する。図5は、直動案内軸受装置の第2の実施形態の構成における要部断面図である。図5に示すように、本実施形態では、第1のシール部材31、第2のシール部材32、及び第3のシール部材33のそれぞれのリップ部31b,32b,33bが全て内方に屈折して案内レール10の断面周縁部に接触している。この構成は、リップ部31b,32b,33bの突出部分が全て内方に屈折するように第1のシール部材31、第2のシール部材32、及び第3のシール部材33を配置することで実現できる。例えば、前述の第1の実施形態における第1のシール部材31、第2のシール部材32、及び第3のシール部材33の全てを裏返して重畳させ、スライダ本体20a(エンドキャップ20b)に取り付けることで実現できる。
以下、本発明の第3の実施形態について、図面を参照して説明する。本実施形態に係る直動案内軸受装置は、各シール部材の構成が前述の第1の実施形態と異なるだけであるので、第1の実施形態と同じ符号を付した同様の構成については説明を省略する。図6は、直動案内軸受装置の第3の実施形態の構成における要部断面図である。図6に示すように、本実施形態では、スライダ本体20aの両端部に設けられるシール部材30を6つのシール部材から構成されるようにした。具体的には、リップ部31bの長さをd1とした第1のシール部材31、リップ部32bの長さをd2とした第2のシール部材32、及びリップ部33bの長さをd3とした第3のシール部材33(d1>d2>d3)の配置を、スライダ本体20aから離れる向きに、第3のシール部材33、第2のシール部材32、第1のシール部材31、第2のシール部材32、及び第3のシール部材33の順で重畳させている。また、スライダ本体20aに近い側の第3のシール部材33、第2のシール部材32、及び第1のシール部材31のリップ部31b,32b,33bは内方に屈折して案内レール10の断面周縁部に接触している。一方、スライダ本体20aから離れた側の第1のシール部材31、第2のシール部材32、及び第3のシール部材33のリップ部31b,32b,33bは外方に屈折して案内レール10の断面周縁部に接触している。この構成は、例えば、前述の第2の実施形態においてスライダ20に取り付けられた第1のシール部材31、第2のシール部材32、及び第3のシール部材33に加え、第1の実施形態でスライダ20に取り付けられた第1のシール部材31、第2のシール部材32、及び第3のシール部材33をこの配列順でさらに外方に取り付けることで実現できる。
以下、本発明の第4の実施形態について、図面を参照して説明する。本実施形態に係る直動案内軸受装置は、各シール部材の構成が前述の第1の実施形態と異なるだけであるので、第1の実施形態と同じ符号を付した同様の構成については説明を省略する。図7は、直動案内軸受装置の第4の実施形態の構成における要部断面図である。図7に示すように、本実施形態では、スライダ本体20aの両端部に設けられるシール部材30のうち一方を2つのシール部材32,32から構成されるようにし、他方を3つのシール部材33,31,32から構成されるようにした。一方のシール部材32,32は、突出するリップ部の屈折する向きが共に外方となるように配設した。ここで、同じ符号で示すとおり、スライダ本体20aの一方の端部側のシール部材32,32は、突出するリップ部32bの長さが同じである同規格のシール部材である。また、他方のシール部材33,31,32は、内方からシール部材33(リップ部32bが内方に屈折),31(リップ部31bが外方に屈折),32(リップ部33bが外方に屈折)の順で構成されるように配設した。

Claims (4)
- 軸方向に延びる転動体転動溝を有する案内レールの前記転動体転動溝に対向する転動体転動溝を有し、これらの両転動体転動溝間に挿入された多数の転動体の転動を介して軸方向に沿って相対移動可能に前記案内レールに跨架されたスライダの軸方向の端部に取り付けられ、
前記案内レールの転動体転動溝に摺接するリップ部を備えたシール本体部と、該シール本体部の両面に設けられた補強部材とを有することを特徴とするシール部材。 - 軸方向に延びる転動体転動溝を有する案内レールと、
該案内レールの前記転動体転動溝に対向する転動体転動溝を有し、これらの両転動体転動溝間に挿入された多数の転動体の転動を介して軸方向に沿って相対移動可能に前記案内レールに跨架されたスライダと、
前記スライダの軸方向の端部に、前記スライダの軸方向に沿って重畳して取り付けられた複数のシール部材とを備え、
前記シール部材が、前記案内レールの転動体転動溝に摺接するリップ部を備えたシール本体部と、該シール本体部の両面に設けられた補強部材とを有することを特徴とする直動案内軸受装置。 - 前記シール部材から突出している前記リップ部の突出部分が内方に屈折し、前記突出部分の長さが、外方に向かうにつれて長くなっていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の直動案内軸受装置。
- 前記シール部材から突出している前記リップ部の突出部分が外方に屈折し、前記突出部分の長さが、外方に向かうにつれて短くなっていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の直動案内軸受装置。
