本発明に係る情報提供装置によれば、移動体端末の探索より高い精度で探索された通信センタ装置の基本ルートを優先して情報提供することで、再探索したルートの精度向上を図ることができる。
本発明に係る情報提供装置では、移動体端末の探索したルートのうち既に運転者に情報提供した部分を変更せず、未だ情報提供していない部分であり且つ基本ルートと異なる部分を基本ルートに置き換える。このため、運転者がルート置き換えを認識することがないので、既に情報提供されたルートの急な変更により運転者の注意が逸らされたり、運転者の不信を招いたりする事態を避けることができる。
本発明に係る情報提供装置によれば、運転者を含む移動体の乗員に対して、ディスプレイを通じた視覚的で分かりやすい情報提供を行うことができる。
Claims (6)
- 移動体に備えられた移動体端末と、前記移動体端末との通信により前記移動体の現在位置から目的地までの基本ルートを探索する通信センタ装置と、前記基本ルートを前記移動体の運転者に情報提供する情報提供部と、を備える情報提供装置であって、
前記通信センタ装置は、
前記基本ルートにおいて前記移動体が進行方向を変更する進行方向変更ポイントを判断する進行方向変更ポイント判断部と、
前記移動体が前記基本ルートから外れた場合を想定した逸脱ルートを前記進行方向変更ポイントに基づいて探索する逸脱ルート探索部と、を有し、
前記情報提供部は、前記移動体が前記逸脱ルートに進行した場合に当該逸脱ルートを前記運転者に情報提供することを特徴とする情報提供装置。 - 前記逸脱ルート探索部は、前記移動体が前記進行方向変更ポイントで直進した場合を想定した直進逸脱ルートと前記移動体が前記進行方向変更ポイントの一つ手前の交差点又は分岐点で前記基本ルートを外れた場合を想定した手前逸脱ルートとの少なくとも何れか一方を前記逸脱ルートとして探索することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の情報提供装置。
- 前記移動体端末は、前記移動体が前記基本ルート及び前記逸脱ルートのいずれのルートからも外れた場合に、前記移動体の現在位置から前記目的地までのルートを探索する端末側探索部を有し、
前記情報提供部は、前記端末側探索部がルートを探索した場合に当該ルートを前記運転者に情報提供することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の情報提供装置。 - 前記通信センタ装置は、前記移動体が前記基本ルート又は前記逸脱ルートのいずれのルートからも外れた場合、前記移動体端末との通信により前記移動体の現在位置から目的地までの基本ルートを再探索し、
前記情報提供部は、前記通信センタ装置の再探索が完了した場合、前記端末側探索部の探索したルートのうち前記通信センタ装置の再探索した基本ルートと異なる部分を当該基本ルートに置き換えて前記運転者に情報提供することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の情報提供装置。 - 前記情報提供部は、前記通信センタ装置の再探索が完了した場合、前記端末側探索部の探索したルートのうち未だ情報提供していない部分であり且つ前記通信センタ装置の再探索した基本ルートと異なる部分を当該基本ルートに置き換えて前記運転者に情報提供することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の情報提供装置。
- 前記情報提供部は、前記移動体の乗員に情報提供するためのディスプレイを備えることを特徴とする請求項1~5の何れか一項に記載の情報提供装置。
