Claims (6)
- フラットケーブル用コネクタが、以下を含む:
一側にフラットケーブル端末部が挿入されるフラットケーブル端末部挿入部が形成され、他側にフラットケーブルと接続される電線端末の相手コネクタが嵌合される嵌合フード部が形成されたコネクタハウジング;及び
前記コネクタハウジング内に収容され、一端が前記フラットケーブル端末部に接続され他端が前記相手コネクタに収容された電線端末の端子金具と接続されて前記フラットケーブルと前記電線とを接続する中継端子;
上記構成において、
前記フラットケーブル端末部挿入部に、前記フラットケーブル端末部に装着されたシール材が収容されるシール材収容部が設けられている。 - 請求項1記載のフラットケーブル用コネクタにおいて、
前記フラットケーブル端末部は、フラットケーブル端と、フラットケーブル端の先端側に取り付けられてフラットケーブルを前記中継端子の一端に接続させるスライダとから構成され;
前記シール材は、前記フラットケーブル端に装着され;及び
前記スライダは、フラットケーブル端の一面側を覆うスライダ本体と、フラットケーブル端の他面側を先端部を露出させた状態で覆うスライダカバーとで形成されてる。 - 請求項2記載のフラットケーブル用コネクタにおいて、
前記中継端子は、端子本体と、この端子本体の一側に設けられて前記コネクタハウジングに収容された状態で前記嵌合フード部に突設されて相手コネクタに収容された端子金具と接続する相手端子接続部と、前記端子本体の他側に設けられてフラットケーブル端末部と接続されるフラットケーブル端末接続部とで形成されている。 - 請求項3記載のフラットケーブル用コネクタにおいて、
前記端子本体にはコネクタハウジングの中継端子収容部の内壁に係止する係止ダボが両側部に形成され;及び
前記フラットケーブル端末接続部には、前記フラットケーブル端と接触するばね端子と、このばね端子の両側部に設けられてばね端子を保護する保護壁とが形成されている。 - 請求項4に記載のフラットケーブル用コネクタにおいて、
前記フラットケーブル端末部挿入部には、前記シール材収容部と、前記中継端子のフラットケーブル端の接続側が収容される中継端子収容部と、フラットケーブル端末部のスライダが収容されるスライダ収容部とが設けられ;
前記コネクタハウジングには、前記中継端子が固定される中継端子固定部が前記フラットケーブル端末部挿入部と嵌合フード部との間に設けられ;及び
前記中継端子固定部は、嵌合フード部側とフラットケーブル端末部挿入部側とを連通する固定挿通孔である。 - 請求項5に記載のフラットケーブル用コネクタにおいて、
前記相手コネクタは、前記中継端子の他端と接続される端子金具が収容された端子収容室を有したコネクタ本体と、前記コネクタ本体を覆うと共に前記コネクタハウジングの嵌合フード部が挿入される外套部と、前記コネクタ本体内に収容され中継端子の他端と接続される端子金具の端子収容室内からの抜けを阻止するフロントホルダとで形成されており;及び
前記相手コネクタが前記コネクタハウジングの嵌合フード部に嵌合した状態で前記コネクタ本体の外周面と前記嵌合フード部の内壁との間にゴムパッキンが配設されている。
