Abstract

【課題】 黒鉛結晶性に優れ、良好なキャリア移動度を持ち適度な空間を有する多孔質炭素材料、炭素六角網面の端部が粒子及び構造体の外表面に位置する多孔質炭素材料、グラフェン類似の剥片状黒鉛を製造する。 【解決手段】 材料中の閉気孔率、残留水素量を適切な範囲に設定した炭素材料を、熱間静水圧加圧処理することにより炭素材料中から発生する水素、炭化水素による、閉気孔を核とした黒鉛の気相成長反応を生じさせ、目的の多孔質炭素材料を安価に大量に製造する。得られた多孔質炭素材料を物理的な衝撃印加や、多孔質炭素材料をホストとする黒鉛層間化合物を生成させ引き続き急速加熱することによりグラフェン類似の黒鉛薄片を製造する。
