- Recording media made of soft polyvinyl chloride are used in a wide range of applications. There are many methods for printing on soft polyvinyl chloride, but there is an inkjet recording method as a method suitable for the production of a small variety of products because there is no need to prepare a plate and the time to finish is short.
- cyclohexanone has a relatively high degree of harmfulness and high vapor pressure, which is not only a safety issue, but also requires a local exhaust device when handling inkjet inks containing cyclohexanone. There was a drawback.

- has excellent safety, with odor problems it can be used without an excellent injection property from the ink jet head, and found to be able to realize a manufacturing method of a good non-aqueous inkjet ink printed image quality.
- the non-aqueous inkjet ink as used in the present invention is defined as an inkjet ink that mainly contains a solvent that volatilizes at room temperature and does not substantially contain water.
- the non-aqueous inkjet ink according to the present invention contains at least an organic solvent, a pigment, and a fixing resin, and is detected when the fixing resin is analyzed by a proton nuclear magnetic resonance method.
- the total value of all area integrated values of peaks derived from the fixing resin is a
- the total value of all area integrated values of peaks derived from compounds other than the fixing resin is b / It is produced using a fixing resin in which a is 0.020 or less.
- the present inventor has made a detailed study on the types and physical properties of fixing resins and the ejection characteristics of inkjet inks using these fixing resins. As a result, it has been found that even with the same type of fixing resin, there is a great difference in the superiority and inferiority of the ejection characteristics of the inkjet ink.
- the specific phenomenon in which the difference between the superiority and inferiority in the ejection characteristics referred to here is that the inkjet ink is ejected as one droplet from the inkjet nozzle (this droplet is referred to as a main droplet in the present invention),
- a main droplet in the present invention When landing on the recording medium, in addition to the main liquid droplet, a large number of small liquid droplets (this micro liquid droplet is called a satellite) are generated, and this large number of liquid droplets is formed around the position where the main liquid droplet landed on the recording medium.
- a phenomenon occurs in which the satellites landed and soiled the printed image. Such a phenomenon is called “splash” in the present invention.
- the present inventor has attempted a more detailed analysis of the characteristics of the resin used in the ink due to the degree of the splash.
- the superiority or inferiority of the splash is a sum of all area integrated values of the peaks derived from the fixing resin among all peaks detected when the fixing resin is analyzed by the proton nuclear magnetic resonance method. Assuming that the sum of all area integrated values of the peak derived from the compound is b, it has been found that it is strongly correlated with the ratio (b / a), and the present invention has been completed.
- a fixing resin having a b / a exceeding 0.020 when used, satellites are likely to be generated rapidly. With a fixing resin having a b / a of 0.020 or less, the generation of satellites is effective. Can be suppressed. More preferably, b / a is 0.010 or less, and most preferably b / a is zero, that is, a peak derived from a compound other than the fixing resin is not detected.
- the present inventor has an unexpected effect that the gloss of the image forming portion becomes extremely good by using a fixing resin having a parameter b / a of 0.020 or less according to the present invention. It has been found that the decapability at the time is very good.
- the decap property referred to in the present invention means that when ink is continuously ejected, if the time interval between ejection of one ink droplet and ejection of the next ink droplet is increased, the next ejection is performed. This means that an ink droplet to be ejected causes ejection failure, or even if ejected, its flight speed and flight direction are remarkably lowered as compared with normal ink droplet ejection characteristics.
- the injection stability, scratch resistance and alcohol wiping resistance could be improved in a balanced manner.
- the alcohol wiping resistance referred to in the present invention is resistance to disturbance such as image peeling when wiping the surface of the image with ethanol or a mixed solvent of ethanol and water. Wipe off dirt on the image surface with alcohol for posters for outdoor use. It is a user need for that.
- the total value of all area integrated values of the peaks derived from the fixing resin is defined as a, and other than the fixing resin B / a is 0.020 or less, where b is the total value of all area integrated values of the peak derived from the compound.
- Specific examples of fixing resins by proton nuclear magnetic resonance are as follows. A simple analysis method will be described.
- the content of the impurities mixed from the fixing resin according to the present invention that is, the compound other than the fixing resin that gives a peak of the area integrated value b by the proton nuclear magnetic resonance method is 0. It is preferable that it is 01% or less.
- Analysis of the content of the entire non-aqueous ink-jet ink is performed by mixing a certain amount of ink with pure water or ion-exchanged water, and extracting the components extracted into the aqueous phase with the proton nuclear magnetic resonance method, absorptiometry, conductivity described above. It can analyze by well-known methods, such as a method and mass spectrometry.

It is a polymerization method to be performed. In order to stabilize the suspension, it is common to add a dispersant. Since polymer particles having a small particle size and uniform particle size distribution are obtained, it is also called bead polymerization, granular polymerization, or pearl polymerization. - the impurities are removed by washing with alcohol or water a plurality of times, and then dried to obtain the fixing resin having the b / a value according to the present invention.
