Abstract

【課題】蛍光体層の光出射面での色度分布の視野角依存性を低減することのできる照明装置を提供する。 【解決手段】発光ダイオード10と蛍光体層22との間に、蛍光体層22の光出射面22aでの色度分布の視野角依存性が抑制されるように発光ダイオード10からの放射光を制御する光線制御素子11を配置する。光線制御素子11は、発光ダイオード10からの放射光を、蛍光体層22の光出射面22aに対して垂直または略垂直方向に屈曲して、蛍光体層22に入射する。これにより、蛍光体層22の面に対して斜め方向に入射する光が減少し、蛍光体層22の光出射面22aでの色度分布の視野角依存性が低減する。
