Abstract

本発明の目的は、平坦性、厚み、および熱拡散率のバラツキが少ないグラファイトフィルムを生産性よく提供することである。 本発明は、ヒータを有する加熱炉を用いる熱処理によって原料フィルムをグラファイト化するグラファイトフィルムの製造方法において、原料フィルムの面積が200cm2以上であり、原料フィルムを第1の容器内に保持し、さらに第1容器を第2の容器内に保持し、第2容器をヒータ内に保持して原料フィルムを熱処理することを特徴とするものである。なお、第2の容器内には、不活性ガスを流すことが好ましい。また、グラファイトフィルムの製造時には、1枚以上の高分子フィルムと高分子フィルムの熱分解温度以上の温度において耐熱性を有する耐熱性フィルムとを交互に積層することが好ましい。
