Abstract

 入力信号の振幅が比較的小さい場合における出力信号の位相誤差を軽減できるようになる電力増幅回路ならびにそれを用いた送信機および無線通信機を提供する。定包絡線信号生成回路(20)は、包絡線変動を有する入力信号(Si)を互いに振幅が等しく位相が異なる第1定包絡線信号(Sd1)および第2定包絡線信号(Sd2)に変換してそれぞれ出力する。第1増幅器(11)は第1定包絡線信号(Sd1)を増幅し、第2増幅器(12)は第2定包絡線信号(Sd2)を増幅する。出力加算器(13)は、第1増幅器(11)及び第2増幅器(12)から出力される増幅信号に基づいて、増幅された包絡線変動を有する出力信号を出力する。振幅制御回路(参照電位制御回路(45))は、第1定包絡線信号(Sd1)および第2定包絡線信号(Sd2)の振幅を入力信号(Si)の振幅に基づいて制御する。
