Abstract

　周方向補強層を構成するコードと空気入りタイヤの周方向とが実質的に平行である周方向補強層のコードの疲労を低減する。このため、空気入りタイヤ（１）は、第１交差ベルト（５Ａ）と第２交差ベルト（５Ｂ）との間には、周方向補強層（６）が設けられる。周方向補強層（６）は、第２交差ベルト（５Ａ）よりも幅が狭く、かつコードがタイヤ周方向に対して０度以上５度以下の角度をなしている。５％内圧充填時において、赤道面（ＣＰ）からカーカス（３）とカーカス（３）のタイヤ径方向外側に隣接する高角度ベルト（４）との分離部分（Ｐ）までの距離Ｙを、赤道面（ＣＰ）から周方向補強層（６）のタイヤ幅方向外側における端部（６ｅ）までの距離Ｘ２の９５％以上１０５％以下とする。
