Abstract

自動車を長時間停車した場合でも大気中に放出される蒸散燃料ガス量を低減することのできるキャニスタ用の吸着材に好適な吸着材及びその製造方法、並びに該吸着材を用いたキャニスタ及びその使用方法を提供することを課題とし、水銀ポロシーで測定した平均直径3000~100000nmの範囲の積算細孔容積が6.5mL/dl以上でn-ブタン容量濃度2000ppmにおける平衡吸着量が0.16g/dl以上の吸着材とその製造方法、並びにキャニスタとその使用方法によって上記課題を達成することができる。
