Abstract

 本発明は、細孔分布において細孔直径1.0~1.5nmの範囲に細孔容積の最大値を示すピークAの値が0.012~0.05cm3/gの範囲にあり、かつ全細孔容積値の2~32%の大きさである活性炭を用いて形成された電極と、環状炭酸エステル及び鎖状炭酸エステルとスルホランまたはその誘導体を含む非水溶媒と第4級オニウム塩を含む電解質からなる有機電解液とを有し、前記有機電解液の溶媒のスルホランの含有量が全溶媒に対して20~40質量%であることを特徴とする電気二重層キャパシタ、その電気二重層キャパシタを用いた携帯機器及びICタグを提供する。本発明の電気二重層キャパシタは3.3V耐電圧下での長期信頼性と-20°C以下の超低温領域においても性能維持率に優れ、Pbフリー半田リフロー性にも優れている。
