Abstract
本発明は、復号画像データの画質を向上させることが可能な画像符号化装置および画像復号化装置を提供する。 本発明に係る画像符号化方法は、入力画像を符号化する画像符号化方法であって、前記入力画像を符号化して符号化画像を生成する符号化ステップと、前記入力画像に含まれるピクチャ内の各領域を複数のグループのいずれか1つに割り当て、割り当てたグループごとにフィルタデータを生成するフィルタデータ生成ステップと、前記符号化ステップで生成された符号化画像と、前記フィルタデータ生成ステップで生成されたフィルタデータとを含む符号化ストリームを出力する出力ステップとを含む。
