Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Nebenschlussresonator für eine Ansaugleitung einer Brennkraftmaschine. Ein Nebenschlussresonator (6) für eine Ansaugleitung (3) einer Brennkraftmaschine (1) weist einen Hohlraum (7) auf, der über eine rohrartige Verbindung (8) mit der Ansaugleitung (3) verbunden ist, wobei innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung (8) ein aus einem porösen Material bestehendes Element (9) angeordnet ist. Der erfindungsgemäße Nebenschlussresonator ist für Brennkraftmaschinen in Kraftfahrzeugen vorgesehen.
Description
Nebenschlussresonator für eine Ansaugleitung
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Nebenschlussresonator für eine Ansaugleitung einer Brennkraftmaschine nach der im Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1 näher definierten Art. Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung eine Ansauganlage für eine Brennkraftmaschine sowie eine Brennkraftmaschine.
Ein gattungsgemäßer Nebenschlussresonator sowie eine entsprechende Ansauganlage sind in der DE 197 43 482 Al beschrieben. Solche Nebenschlussresonatoren werden an der Ansaugleitung angebracht, um eventuelle Rohrresonanzen zu unterdrücken und damit das Geräuschniveau im Innenraum eines Kraftfahrzeugs zu senken. Sie weisen eine hohle Kammer auf, die über ein kurzes Rohrstück, welches auch als Resonatorhals bezeichnet wird, mit der Ansaugleitung verbunden ist.
Problematisch bei diesen bekannten Nebenschlussresonatoren ist jedoch, dass zwar die Rohrresonanz der Ansaugleitung unterdrückt wird, dass jedoch teilweise neue
Resonanzfrequenzen entstehen, die bei anderen Motordrehzahlen zu einer erhöhten Schallabstrahlung durch das
Luftfiltergehäuse führen. Dies kann bei bestimmten Drehzahlen der Brennkraftmaschine zu einer Überhöhung des Geräuschs im Innenraum des Kraftfahrzeugs führen.
Es ist daher Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, einen Nebenschlussresonator für eine Ansaugleitung einer
Brennkraftmaschine zu schaffen, bei welchem über den gesamten Drehzahlbereich nur eine geringe Schallabstrahlung zu verzeichnen ist.
Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe durch die in Anspruch 1 genannten Merkmale gelöst.
Durch das erfindungsgemäße, aus einem porösen Material bestehende Element innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung, mit welcher der Hohlraum des Nebenschlussresonators mit der Ansaugleitung verbunden ist, können Resonanzüberhöhungen so weit reduziert werden, dass die Schallabstrahlung durch das Luftfiltergehäuse keinen Einfluss auf das Innengeräusch des mit einem solchen Nebenschlussresonator ausgestatteten Kraftfahrzeugs hat. Auf diese Weise kann also bei hohen Motordrehzahlen das Innengeräusch erheblich gesenkt werden, wodurch sich für den Benutzer eine erhebliche Komfortverbesserung einstellt.
Eine besonders effektive Reduzierung der Resonanzüberhöhungen wurde bei einer Ausführungsform beobachtet, bei der das innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung angeordnete Element aus Schaumstoff besteht.
Eine Ansauganlage mit wenigstens einer Ansaugleitung und einem erfindungsgemäßen Nebenschlussresonator ergibt sich aus den Merkmalen von Anspruch 7.
In Anspruch 8 ist eine Brennkraftmaschine mit einer derartigen Ansauganlage angegeben.
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen und Weiterbildungen der Erfindung ergeben sich aus den restlichen Unteransprüchen. Nachfolgend ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung anhand der Zeichnung prinzipmäßig beschrieben.
Dabei zeigen:
Fig. 1 eine Brennkraftmaschine mit einer Ansauganlage und einem an einer Ansaugleitung angebrachten, erfindungsgemäßen Nebenschlussresonator;
Fig. 2 eine vergrößerte Schnittdarstellung des Nebenschlussresonators aus Fig. 1; und
Fig. 3 ein Diagramm, in dem die Schallabstrahlung des
Luftfiltergehäuses über der Schallfrequenz innerhalb der Ansaugleitung aufgetragen ist.
Fig. 1 zeigt in einer sehr schematischen Darstellung eine Brennkraftmaschine 1, zu welcher eine Ansauganlage 2 führt, welche die Brennkraftmaschine 1 mit Frischluft versorgt. Die Ansauganlage 2 weist im vorliegenden Fall eine Ansaugleitung 3 auf, in der in an sich bekannter Weise ein Luftfilter 4 angeordnet ist. Innerhalb der Brennkraftmaschine 1 erzeugte Abgase werden mittels einer Abgasanlage 5 aus derselben abgeführt .
An der Ansaugleitung 3 ist ein Nebenschlussresonator 6 angebracht, welcher einen Hohlraum 7 aufweist, der über eine auch als Resonatorhals bezeichnete rohrartige Verbindung 8 mit der Ansaugleitung 3 verbunden ist. Der Nebenschlussresonator 6 dient zur Unterdrückung einer bestimmten Resonanzfrequenz innerhalb der Ansaugleitung 3.
Um durch den Nebenschlussresonator 6 hervorgerufene Resonanzen im Bereich von anderen als der Resonanzfrequenz zu verhindern, ist, wie in dem Schnitt gemäß Fig. 2 zu erkennen, innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung 8 ein aus einem porösen Material bestehendes, im vorliegenden Fall scheibenförmig ausgebildetes Element 9 angeordnet, welches diese Resonanzüberhöhungen so weit reduziert, dass die Schallabstrahlung des Luftfilters 4 keinen Einfluss mehr auf das Geräusch innerhalb eines nicht dargestellten, mit der
Brennkraftmaschine 1 ausgestatteten Kraftfahrzeugs hat. Obwohl prinzipiell verschiedene poröse Materialien für das scheibenförmige Element 9 verwendet werden können, hat sich Schaumstoff als besonders gut geeignet erwiesen. Im vorliegenden Fall ist das scheibenförmige Element 9 im Wesentlichen senkrecht zu einer Mittelachse 10 der rohrartigen Verbindung 8 des Nebenschlussresonators 6 mit der Ansaugleitung 3 angeordnet.
Das scheibenförmige Element 9 ist des Weiteren so ausgeführt, dass es den Querschnitt der rohrartigen Verbindung 8 im Wesentlichen ausfüllt, wobei im vorliegenden Fall die rohrartige Verbindung 8 und das Element 9 einen im wesentlichen runden Querschnitt aufweisen. Bei der dargestellten Ansaugleitung 3 bzw. der rohrartigen Verbindung 8 weist das scheibenförmige Element 9 eine Dicke von 5 bis 9 mm, vorzugsweise ca. 7 mm, auf.
Das scheibenförmige Element 9 kann innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung 8 mit Hilfe geeigneter Mittel fixiert werden. Im vorliegenden Fall ist das scheibenförmige Element 9 am Übergang der rohrartigen Verbindung 8 in dem Hohlraum 7 angeordnet, es kann jedoch prinzipiell an jeder Stelle innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung 8 angeordnet sein.
In Fig. 3 ist mittels der gestrichelten Linie der Verlauf der Schallabstrahlung des Luftfilters 4 über der Schallfrequenz innerhalb der Ansaugleitung 3 dargestellt, wenn auf den Nebenschlussresonator 6 vollständig verzichtet wird. Hierbei ist zu erkennen, dass in einem Bereich von ca. 175 Hz eine besonders hohe Schallabstrahlung zu verzeichnen ist. Mittels der strichpunktierten Linie ist der Verlauf der Schallabstrahlung dargestellt, wenn der Nebenschlussresonator 6 ohne das scheibenförmige Element 9 verwendet wird. Hierbei ergeben sich Maxima im Bereich von ca. 125 und ca. 240 Hz, wobei insbesondere das Maximum im Bereich von ca. 240 Hz eine annähernd so hohe Schallabstrahlung darstellt wie bei dem
Verzicht auf den Nebenschlussresonator 6. Die durchgezogene Linie zeigt den Verlauf der Schallabstrahlung bei dem Nebenschlussresonator 6, bei dem sich innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung 8 das scheibenförmige Element 9 befindet. Hierbei ist ein sehr homogener Verlauf zu erkennen, dessen Maximum um mehr als 5 dB unterhalb der Maxima der beiden anderen Linie liegt.
Zu dem Diagramm von Fig. 3 ist anzumerken, dass es sich dabei um ein spezielles Beispiel einer bestimmten Brennkraftmaschine 1 handelt und dass sich bei anderen Brennkraftmaschinen vollkommen andere Werte bezüglich der Frequenzen und der Schallabstrahlung ergeben können.
Claims
1. Nebenschlussresonator für eine Ansaugleitung einer Brennkraftmaschine, welcher einen Hohlraum aufweist, der über eine rohrartige Verbindung mit der Ansaugleitung verbunden ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung (8) ein aus einem porösen Material bestehendes Element (9) angeordnet ist.
2. Nebenschlussresonator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung (8) angeordnete Element (9) aus Schaumstoff besteht.
3. Nebenschlussresonator nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung (8) angeordnete Element (9) im Wesentlichen senkrecht zu einer Mittelachse (10) der rohrartigen Verbindung (8) angeordnet ist.
4. Nebenschlussresonator nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung (8) angeordnete Element (9) den Querschnitt der rohrartigen Verbindung (8) im Wesentlichen ausfüllt.
5. Nebenschlussresonator nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die rohrartige Verbindung (8) und das innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung (8) angeordnete Element (9) einen im Wesentlichen runden Querschnitt aufweisen.
6. Nebenschlussresonator nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das innerhalb der rohrartigen Verbindung (8) angeordnete Element (9) eine Dicke von 5 bis 9 mm, vorzugsweise ca. 7 mm, aufweist.
7. Ansauganlage mit wenigstens einer Ansaugleitung und mit einem Nebenschlussresonator nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6.
