Definitions
- the invention relates to a floor profile with at least one covering covering cover legs made of wood and with at least one of this covering leg downwardly projecting fastening web.
- floor profiles are used, which overlap with a cover leg the respective flooring and have to attach to a subfloor from the cover leg downwardly projecting mounting web, for example, clamped in a festgeschraubte to the subfloor rail can be introduced.
- the floor profiles can be made of different materials for adaptation to the respective floor covering. If the floor profiles are made of solid wood, there is the risk of discarding the floor profile, if the wood material works according to the different density caused by the annual rings, for example in the case of changes in humidity and temperature. Presentation of the invention
- the invention is therefore the object of a soil profile of the type described in such a way that discarding can be largely excluded.
- the invention solves this problem by the fact that the cover leg separately manufactured fastening web is glued to the underside of the cover leg.
- the soil profile is composed of two parts, resulting from the adhesive bond, a composite body, with the help of faults can be largely avoided, because a different faulting behavior of the two parts can be used to improve the rejection behavior of the composite significantly.
- a different faulting behavior of the two parts can be used to improve the rejection behavior of the composite significantly.
- the cover leg and the fastening web in the composite have an opposing faulting behavior, so that cancel the opposing distortions at least partially.
- the different properties of these materials can be used with regard to distortions in order to avoid, in particular, the warp of the wooden covering leg.
- both the covering leg and the fastening web have a compared to the joined bottom profile simple cross-sectional shape, which makes complex profile tools for processing the cover leg or the mounting bar superfluous.
- the expensive wood material, at least the covering leg can be advantageously used by minimizing the processing waste.
- fastening web is glued positively into a recess on the underside of the covering leg, then not only are simpler joining surfaces conditions when connecting the cover leg with the fastening web, but also an improved power transmission between these parts, which is advantageous for the dimensional stability of the assembled from the cover leg and the mounting bar floor profile.
- the material for the fastening web are essentially two requirements to make, namely the wood material of the covering leg-like elongation behavior and compared to the wood material of the cover leg comparatively low or opposite tendency to warping with changing external temperature and humidity. These conditions can be met by selecting certain timbers for the fastening bar. Particularly advantageous conditions arise, however, if the fastening web consists of a highly compressed wood fiber material, which shows no tendency to rejection due to its uniform density and due to its strength discourages discarding the cover leg of solid wood a corresponding resistance. In addition, since high density wood fiber materials hardly absorb moisture, the behavior of floor profiles made from a wooden cover leg and a high density wood fiber material web can be significantly improved in moisture absorption as compared to integral wood floor profiles.
- the dimensional stability of the mounting webs is also an advantageous condition to adapt the floor profiles in height to different thicknesses of the floor coverings by gluing of backing strips on the mounting webs, because the mounting webs and preferably made of the same material backing strips no or only one have little tendency to warp.
- FIG. 1 shows a bottom profile according to the invention in a simplified cross section
- FIG. 2 is also a cross-sectional view of a modified bottom profile relative to the embodiment according to FIG. 1;
- Fig. 3 shows another embodiment of a floor profile according to the invention in cross-section
- FIG. 4 a of FIG. 1 corresponding bottom profile, but with a glued to the fastening web backing strip.
- the bottom profile 1 shown in FIG. 1 serves to cover a joint between two floor coverings 2, 3, which are laid on a subfloor 4.
- a cross-sectionally U-shaped rail 5 for receiving the bottom profile 1 on the bottom 4 is fixed.
- the cover leg 6 of the bottom profile 1 downwardly projecting fastening web 7 engages between the resilient leg 8 of the rail 5 and is held by clamping between these legs 8.
- the covering leg 6 and the fastening web 7 are manufactured separately from each other, namely of different materials. While the covering leg 6 is made of solid wood, a highly compressed wood fiber material is preferably used for the fastening web 7. But it could also find fixing webs 7 from a different cover to 6 wood type with a lower tendency to rejection, from an extruded wood material or from a plastic use. Due to the separate production of the covering leg 6 and the fastening web 7, simple cross-sectional shapes result for these components, which eliminates the need for complex profile tools for machining these parts.
- FIG. 1 shows a floor profile 1 formed as a movement profile between two usually identical floor coverings 2, 3, the floor profile 1 according to FIG. 2 serves as a closing profile which is laid along an edge of a floor covering 2.
- This floor profile 1 again serves a fixed to the bottom 4 rail 5, which receives a fastening web 7 of the soil profile 1.
- the attachment web 7 is, however, extended by a projection 10 which bridges the distance between the cover leg 6 and the bottom 4, so that again results in a simple, material-saving cross-sectional shape for the cover leg 6.
- the outer end side of the projection 10 is visible in this case. If this is undesirable, then the approach 10 could be assigned to the covering leg 6, which, however, impairs the utilization of the wood material of the covering leg 6.
- the floor profile 1 forms a transitional profile between two floor coverings 2, 3 of different thickness. So that floor profiles 1 can be provided for different height differences between the floor coverings 2, 3, the fastening web 7 can be adapted to the different to compensate for this height difference inclination of the cover leg 6 by a correspondingly inclined pad 12. This means that with increasing height difference, the inclination of the pad 12 increases. So that the bottom profile 1 can be adapted to different thicknesses of floor coverings 2, 3, the height of the fastening web 7 and the neck 10 must be adapted to the thickness of the respective floor covering.
- the fastening web 7 can be provided in accordance with FIG. 4 with optionally attachable backing strips 13, so that the bottom profile 1 according to the thickness of the backing strips 13 can be gradually adjusted to different thicknesses of the floor coverings.
