Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Hochdruckverfahren zur Herstellung von reinem Melamin durch Pyrolyse von Harnstoff in einem vertikalen Synthesereaktor, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Synthesereaktor drei vertikal übereinander angeordnete Stufen aufweist, wobei a) in der ersten, obersten Stufe der kleinere Teil der Gesamtharnstoffmenge in das Zentralrohr eines ersten Tankreaktors eingebracht wird und ein erstes melaminhältiges Reaktionsmedium gebildet wird, b) in der zweiten, mittleren Stufe das erste melaminhältige Reaktionsmedium sowie der größere Teil der Gesamtharnstoffmenge in das Zentralrohr eines zweiten Tankreaktors eingebracht wird und ein zweites melaminhältiges Reaktionsmedium gebildet wird, worauf c) in der dritten, untersten Stufe das zweite melaminhältige Reaktionsmedium in einen vertikalen Strömungsrohrreaktor eingebracht wird und eine Rohmelaminschmelze gebildet wird, welche anschließend in beliebiger Weise aufgearbeitet und reines Melamin erhalten wird. Damit ist es möglich, einen gleichmäßigeren Harnstoffumsatz, eine schonendere und korrosionsmindernde Zufuhr der Reaktionswärme und eine optimale Reaktionsführung sowie restloses Ausreagieren des Harnstoffes im Melaminsynthesereaktor zu erreichen. Im Vergleich zu anderen Melaminverfahren ergibt sich eine kompaktere, kostengünstigere und effizientere Melaminsynthese.
