Abstract

In a thermostat, in particular for aquariums, comprising a watertight container (20) wherein there is an electric resistance (50) and a thermostat (30) for controlling the supply of the electric resistance (50), the thermostat (30) includes a microswitch (36) which mechanically interacts with a spring-bimetallic prong (34) sensitive to the temperature and electrically connected to the electric resistance (50) so as to feed said resistance maintaining the temperature of water between predetermined limit values.
