Definitions
- bolt circles are used, which are common in European vehicles with 4-hole fastening at 98 mm ⁇ , 100 mm ⁇ , 101, 6 mm. , 108 mm. and 114.3 mm. lie.
- bolt circles of 98 mm i, 100 mm i, 108 mm ⁇ 6, 110 mm ⁇ , 112 mm 0, 114.3 mm can be found.
- the F.irma Opel AG uses a bolt circle of 100 mm ⁇ with a center hole of 57 mm for its old Kadett, Ma ⁇ ta and Ascona models.
- a bolt circle of 100 mm ⁇ with 56.5 mm ⁇ center hole is also used.
- Older Commodore and Monza vehicles have a bolt circle of 120 mm ⁇ with a center hole of 69.6 mm ⁇ and newer Omega models have a bolt circle of 110 mm ⁇ with center hole 65.1 mm ⁇ .
- the latter two have 5-hole attachments while the Kadett, Manta, Ascona, Astra and Cal ibra vehicles have 4-hole attachments. The situation is similar with other automobile manufacturers.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object of providing a rim wheel by means of which the diversity of bearings is eliminated.
- the present disclosure solves the aforementioned problem with surprisingly simple means.
- the elongated hole in 4-hole rims is e.g. from 98 mm - 114.3 mm_, while there are one or different interchangeable adapter rings that have at least one other bolt circle and therefore use the same wheel for 98 mm, 100 mm ⁇ , 101, 6 m ⁇ , 108 mm ⁇ and Allow 114.3 mm ⁇ , while by replacing the already known centering rings in the center hole, the possible uses within the bolt circles are further expanded.
- a clipped center ring is used for different center holes.
- the centering rings are preferably made in different colors per diameter, so that there is no confusion.
- the diameter of the centering ring can advantageously be seen both on the ring and can be determined on a code list by means of a color code.
- the appropriate uses can also be attached to the rim wheel in question to prevent incorrect use.
- a light alloy wheel such data can advantageously be poured in.
- the wheel bolts and wheel nuts in the neck are of the same diameter as the through hole in the adapter ring and the hole (hole width) in the rim wheel, i.e. the through hole in the adapter ring and rim wheel must be minimally larger so that the neck of the wheel fastening parts for fastening the wheel to the vehicle can still be passed through, but there is a form fit so that no twisting can occur which impairs the wheel fastening.
- an adapter disc with 2 or more bolt circles or recess cards is designed for different uses, this is rotated by a corresponding angle in the rim wheel so that the other bolt circle is covered with the underlying holes / elongated holes of the rim wheel and a different bolt circle fastening is achieved.
- the adapter ring is not required. Under certain circumstances, a reducing ring must be clipped into the center hole (Fig. 2) or glued in order to achieve the required center hole for centering. In this case, this ring is preferably introduced from the contact side of the rim wheel on the vehicle flange. If adapter disks are used, it is proposed according to a preferred embodiment to insert the centering rings from the wheel outside into the center bore and to hold them in place with the overlying adapter disc, which is smaller in the center bore and covers the centering ring. With this solution, the centering ring cannot shrink onto the hub of the vehicle and the ring is not lost when changing the wheel.
- the adapter disk is in turn attached to the fig wheel, for example by a screw connection.
- This fastening / screw connection holds the adapter disk in the rim wheel when this wheel is not screwed to the vehicle.
- a position-determining hole determines the angle and the correspondence of the bolt circle in the adapter disc with the bolt circle / elongated hole underneath in the rim wheel.
- the countersinks in the adapter disc for wheel bolts or nuts with taper countersink, ball countersink or cylindrical fit with flat collar, etc. can be implemented.
- the adapter ring can be designed in an angular manner in order to additionally center itself between the center bore of the rim wheel and a fit on the hub of the vehicle.
- REPLACEMENT LEAF for example, 1-4 different bolt circles are present in an adapter disk in 4-hole versions, so that a larger number of different types of vehicles can be fitted with the same adapter ring and the use of different centering rings in the center bore, in order to control the amount of different ones To restrict the bolt circle disc to a minimum.

- FIG. 20 shows an exemplary section through FIG. 18.
- FIG. 1 shows a section through a rim wheel 1 in the area of the hub section
- the surprising effect of the invention consists in removing the type-specificity of a rim wheel and thereby practically creating a universal wheel in which only a corresponding part is to be used for the purpose of correspondence and adaptation to the vehicle.
- a first embodiment is therefore that the rim wheel 1 in the center, i.e. in the fastening area 2 is penetrated by a single opening 3 (see FIG. 12), which projects beyond the largest hole circle diameter to be expected, so that the wheel fastening means can be passed through.
- the centering task is then to be carried out via the adapter disk 5, in which case the embodiment variant is possible in which the adapter disk 5 and the centering ring 10 are formed in one piece.
- a rim wheel 1 is now shown with its fastening area 2.
- the slot arrangement 15 in the fastening area 2 of the wheel 1 covers a wide variety of hole circles. It should be noted here that the bores 7 in the wheel or the elongated holes 15 of the same are instead of a superordinate opening 3. That is, if the embodiment variant with a central opening 3 is departed from, such a hole or hole arrangement 7 or elongated hole 15 arrangement is used for the purpose of covering the hole circles to be encountered.
- the rim wheel then has a central bore 8 into which a centering ring 10 is inserted. This has a step 11. Then the corresponding adapter ring 5 is used and fastened in the fastening area 2 of the rim wheel 1. Radial centering takes place in the area marked with 18 between wheel 1 and ring 5.
- the respective adapter disk 5 has a specific bolt circle arrangement for the respective application, which may also be present multiple times and differentiated within an adapter disk 5, so that here again the storage is reduced by reducing the most varied adapter disks 5. Due to its shape, the adapter disk 5 holds the centering ring 10 by the average diameter 19 being smaller than the diameter 12 of the reducing ring 10.
- the wheel 1 is formed in one piece in the middle part of the wheel, ie in the fastening area 2 and transition to the rim element. This is important for strength and centering reasons.
- the central center hole 8 which has a maximum diameter fixed for the intended series of vehicles, any reduction can be carried out by means of a centering ring 10.
- the rim wheel 1 is provided with a central center hole 8 with a maximum diameter fixed for the intended series of vehicles, which reduces the number of different adapters or centering rings 10 by means of the outside diameter to the center hole 8 and via the inside diameter and thus centered positively on the respective hub of the desired one Vehicle can be mounted.
- a recess is arranged on the outside, which has slot-like openings concentric to the center hole in a symmetrical angular position of, for example, 3- or 4- or 5- or 6-hole / slot or a slot combination of at least two different number of holes / bolt circle combinations is provided.
- the adapter 5 is inserted into the recess 24 machined from the outside 23 of the wheel, the schematically indicated area 18 centering between the wheel 1 and the adapter 5 in the radial course of the adapter 5.
- the wheel fastening parts 4 can be made through the corresponding universal openings or combination of openings 7, 15 in the recess 24 for the hole circles and number of holes to be found in vehicles and at the same time protrude through the adapter 5.
- the length of the cylindrical neck in the case of the bolt 4a precludes a risk of confusion and thus an accident risk. If, for example, a rim is mounted without an adapter disk, although an adapter disk would be required, the cylindrical neck 16 extends further against the hub of the vehicle, thus preventing fixation.
- Figure 2 shows a normal wheel attachment without an adapter disc.
- the fastening area 2 according to FIG. 3 is additionally provided with a conventional bolt circle which is introduced in addition to the elongated hole arrangements.
- this rim wheel with such a fastening area 2 can also be used for a specific vehicle type without an adapter.
- the adapter disk 5 can be locked on the rim 1, which can be seen in the section according to FIG. 5.
- FIG. 6 shows an adapter ring 5, a so-called 5-bolt circular disk for use with a bolt circle of 98 (6a), 100 (6b) and 108 mm ⁇ _ (6c).
- FIG. 7 shows a so-called 5-bolt circular disc for bolt circles 110 (6d), 112 (6e) and 114.3 mm ⁇ (6f), while from FIG. 8 a bolt circle disc with 4-hole for bolt circle 98 (6a), 100 (6b), 108 (6c), 114.3 mm. (6f) is shown.
- FIG. 9 shows a representative section for these three adapter disks 5.
- FIG. 10 shows an embodiment variant of the present invention, in which the flange region 2 of the rim wheel 1 has a central, large, annular opening 3.
