- - distribution means for distributing the washing fluid alternatively into the first duct or the second duct, for directing the jets in the wiper's direction of motion to the leading side of the blade, -a hollow space for the washing fluid, this space com ⁇ municating with the jetting apparatus and the entrance apertures of the washing fluid ducts opening into said space.

- the pivot-side end of the arm 2 has been shaped to define an internally hollow, substantially cylindrical volume 8 into which the intake apertures 6a and 7a of said ducts 6 and 7 open and which communi- cates through a flexible tune 9 with the washing fluid container (not depicted) .
- these washing fluid means comprise a closing member 11 rotatably carried on the turning shaft 10 of the windscreen wiper l, this clos ⁇ ing member having closing faces lla and lib urged against the inside surface of the hollow space 8, for the intake apertures 6a and 7a for each washing fluid duct 6 and 7; and a pin component 12 cooperating with the closing members 11, this pin being disposed between the closing surfaces lla and lib on the base of rota ⁇ tion 13 of the wiper, which encloses and seals the hol ⁇ low space 8, for so moving the closing surfaces lla and lib that between the hollow space 8 communicating with the water tank and the first washing fluid duct 6, or between the hollow space 8 and the second washing fluid duct 7, is opened an alternative connection during the reciprocating movement of the wipe

- the wiper is approaching its end position pointing upwards to the left, and the closing member 11 begins under control by the stationary pin component 12 to move away from coverage of the orifice 7a of the second washing fluid duct 7 and at the same time partially closes the orifice 6a of the first wash ⁇ ing fluid duct 6, whereby the jetting direction begins to change (this takes place very rapidly in practice) .
