Description

DESIGN.
No. 36,271. PATENTED MAR. 31, 1903. H. G. ROTH. DISPLAY FIXTURE FOR STORES.
APPLICATION FILED JAN. 5, 1903 UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
HENRY G. ROTH, OF MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA.
DESIGN FOR A DISPLAY-FIXTURE FOR STORES SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,271, dated March 31, 1903;
Application filed January 5; 1903. Serial No. 137,886. Teiin of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HENRY G. ROTH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Minneapolis, Hennepin county, Minnesota, have invented and produced a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Display-Fixture for Stores, of which the following is a specifica= tion, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
In the said drawings, Figure 1 is a view in front elevation, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the parts shown Fig.1.
As shown in the said drawings, the design is made up of a horizontal series of rows of crescent-shaped bodies a, having their prongs turned upward, and with the members of adjacent horizontal rows staggered with respect to each other and with the said crescentformed bodies touching each other. Above the upper row of crescent-formed bodies at is a horizontal series of relatively large crescent-shaped bodies a, the points of which are turned downward and appear to join the points of alternate members of the upper row of crescents a. Relatively small crescents a having their points turned down, are located tangentially in the diverging spaces left between the convex surfaces, Approximate triangular filling-pieces b are placed in the space left between the convex surfaces of the crescent-formed bodies-a. These filling-pieces are colored or shaded, so as to afiord a. background, which causes the crescents to stand out prominently.
The above design is especially intended for use in groceries and other stores where canned or bottled goods are to be displayed on shelving.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent ofthe United States, is as follows:
The ornamental design fora display-fixture for stores, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I aflix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
HENRY G. ROTH. Witnesses:
I GENEVIEVE HIRSOH,
F. D.- MERCHANT.
