UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
HENRY G. ROTH, OF MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA.
DESIGN FOR A DISPLAY-FIXTURE FOR STORES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,269, dated March 31, 1903.
Application filed Jannaryfi, 1903. Serial No. 137,884- Term of patent I l years.
To all wltom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HENRY G. ROTH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Minneapolis, Hennepin county, Minnesota, have invented and produced a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Display-Fixture for Stores, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
In the said drawings, Figure 1 is a view in front elevation, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the parts shown in Fig. 1.
As shown in the said drawings, the design is made up of several vertically-disposed series or pairs of crescent-shaped bodies a, placed with their points in contact. Otherwise stated, the points or prongs of the crescents, which are located in the one horizontal row, are turned upward, while those of the row just above are turned downward. Approximately diamond-shaped filling-pieces b are placed in the spaces left between the abutting prongs of the crescent-bodies a, and other filling-sections c are placed in the diverging spaces left between the convex body portions of the said crescent-formed bodies. The filling-pieces I) and c are set back from the outer face of the crescent-formed bodies a, and are colored or shaded, so as to make the outline of the crescent stand out prominently.
The above design is especially intended for use in groceries and other stores where canned or bottled goods are to be displayed on shelving.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is as follows:
The ornamental design for a display-fixtu re for stores, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
HENRY G. ROTH.
Witnesses:
GENEVIEVE HIRSCH, F. D. MERCHANT.
