Description

DESIGN;
No. 36,268. PATENTED MAR. 31, 1903. H. G. ROTH.
DISPLAY FIXTURE FOR STORES.
APPLIOATION FILED JAN. 5. 1903.
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
HENRY G. ROTH, OF MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA.
DESIGN FOR A DISPLAY-FIXTURE FOR STORES.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,268, dated March 31, 1903.
Application filed January 5, 1903. Serial No. 137,883. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HENRY G. ROTH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Minneapolis, I-Iennepin county, Minnesota, have invented and produced a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Display-Fixture for Stores, of which the following is a specifica tion, reference being had to the accompany ing drawings, forming part thereof.
In the said drawings, Figure 1 is a View in front elevation, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the parts shown in Fig. 1.
As shown in the said drawings, the design is made up of several vertically-disposed series of crescent-shaped bodies a, the points of which are turned downward. The crescent-shaped bodies a form horizontal as well as vertical series of rows. The members of the horizontal rows touch each other at their sides, while the members of the vertical rows join with the prongs or points of the upper members, touching the convex surfaces of those that stand just below them. Approximately diamond-shaped filling-pieces b are placed between the adjoining portions of the crescent-shaped bodies a. These filling-pieces b are set back from the outer surfaces of the bodies Ct and are colored or shaded, so as to afford a background, which will cause the crescents to stand out prominently.
The above design is especially intended for use in groceries and other stores where canned or bottled goods are to be displayed on shelvlng.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is as follows:
The ornamental design for a display-fixtu re for stores, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I aflix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
HENRY G. ROTH.
Witnesses:
GENEVIEVE HIRSCH, F. D. MERCHANT.
