Be it known that I, HERMINE GUIDEZ, a citizen of the United States,residingin New York, borough of Manhattamand State of NewYork, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Patterns for Dress-Skirts, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanyingdrawings, forming a part thereof, in which Figure 1 is a side elevation of a dress-skirt pattern, showing my new design; and Fig. 2 is a horizontal section of the same on line 2 2, Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the body a of the skirt is provided with a train-piece a at the rear part, which extends from the girdlepiece a in downward direction. Flounces Z) are formed at the side and front of'the lower part of the skirt. The upper ends of the fiounces are connected by transverse trimmings c and undulating ruffies d, which extend along the upper edge of the flounces and over the transverse trimmings c.
Having described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent-- The design for a pattern for dress-skirts, as herein shown and described. In testimony that I claim the foregoing as my invention I have signed my name in presence of two subscribing Witnesses.
