To all whom it may concern.- l
Be it known that I, CHARLES ERLANGER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Baltimore, in the State of Maryland, have invented a new and original Design for a Re-enforee for Trousers, of which the following is a specilication, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a. part thereof.
Said drawing represents my newly-designed re-en force for trousers.
The leading feature of my design is alleenforce substantially of the configuration of a vertical section of a pear, the upper and lower ends of which are in right lines parallel with each other. Said shaped re-enforce has springe;` ing from its either side a leaf-shaped wing, B.
[n the drawing, A represents the reenforce proper, having the outline ofthe two sides as follows: an outward1y-iuclining line from a` to a', and from a' to the lower point is a curve outwardly extending, as shown at 2. From the terminal points of the upper parts of the side edges the re-enforce assumes a right line, 3, and from the lower terminal points it is shaped into another straight line, 4, parallel with the upper line, 3. On either side and shown and described, consisting of fabric the perimeter of which is in the form of a vertical section of a pear, the upper and lower edges being in parallel horizontal lines, and having a leaf-shaped wing, B, on its either side.
