SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,618, dated March 24, 1891.

Be it known that I, PAUL PIGNOT, a citi- 2011 of the United States, residing at Hastings, Westchestcr county, New York, have invented a new and original Design for Carpets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, which forms a part of the same.

The invention relates to a design to be worked into or upon surfaces, such as carpets or similar fabrics; and it consists in the novel configuration and grouping of figures herein specifically shown and claimed.

The accompanying photograph is a face View of a carpet, showing my new design.

My design consists of the body A and the border B. The body A consists of conventionalized flower forms and leaf forms upon IAUL IIGXO'I.
